He wasn't lost!

Not at all!

Okay so Klaus was a tad lost. The man walked across the courtyard with his crooked nose pretty much buried in a fold out map of the school layout. He swore he walked around the place three times and still hadn't found the cafeteria! Maybe he needed to review his map a little better. The southerner looked at it closely. He wasn't normally so bad with directions, but he didn't have experience with a huge, fancy academy like this. It was like ten mansions put together or something! He was a simple country boy who'd gone to a sub par battle school that wasn't nearly as nice as the Kalos academy.

Klaus sighed out his nose as he looked ahead on his current path to try and figure out where he needed to go. Oh! That's how he was supposed to get there! Great he was starving. Klaus smirked into his before one of his heavy boots found a new surface that certainly wasn't the ground. He tripped slightly over the snake's tail but managed to catch himself and quickly turn, pulling the map down from his face. "Shit, I'm so sorry! I didn' notice yer tail there!" Klaus sputtered out apologies to the Seviper he'd disturbed, well, at least he wasn't wearing his combat boots or he probably would have broken the sharp pointed tail.

A small sigh escaped the Seviper as his day continued on. He'd met up with one person now for a short while but as soon as she left he had been stuck alone in the courtyard all over again. He didn't suppose someone else would go out of their way to notice his mood, why would they when it was such an eventful day? He stared down at his empty coffee cup and sighed again before he flopped backwards to recline in the sun. Grass stains be damned, the green was so soft and inviting when it was soaked up in the warm heat.

Locke's eyes fluttered shut and it wasn't long before he'd lulled himself into a bit of a daze thanks to the sunlight. Sunbathing for him was near euphoric and one of the few things that helped him actually relax. It was a shame that a giant, steel toed boot that belonged to a hick of all people came crushing down onto his delicate tail. Pain fired off in the reptile's head as he jolted up and screamed out in pain. A few people turned their head but at Klaus' frantic apologizing and fretting they merely turned back to whatever they were doing (though a few threw looks back and forth to observe).

The heir's tail coiled up instantly and he held it gingerly against his chest as he winced and hissed from the pain. It felt broken! His eyes watered and he shot a glare up towards the human that blubbered at him. Normally a bit of pain didn't phase him but he was already emotionally and mentally exhausted! He didn't need physically added to the list! "You bloody idiot! Look where you are stepping with those giant things, would you!? Believe it or not crunching things under metal hurts in case you were not aware when you decided to put those on! Ugh!" He curled around his tail and hunched his shoulders as he tried to rub some of the pain away. Fuck it hurt.

Oh lord he really did a number on the fragile little thing. Klaus put his hands up as the snake bit back with his words, his proper, precise words. What should he do? "Shit, I'm sorry! I mean I know they hurt but I didn' think there was no one layin' on the ground like that in front'a me." He rambled out, "I was jus' checkin' this map an' I didn't see ya'll all the way down on the ground." He also didn't realize he was walking straight into the grass. He though he was following the path. He'd think twice before he walked around without keeping an eye out.

He tilted his head a bit trying to look at the tail that was coiled around the other before he knelt down, "I'm sure it ain't broken, faunus tails are stronger than that normally, 'specially a snake. The thing's made'a pure muscle!" He reached out and set a hand against the scaly surface without waiting for an invitation and gave a push to a section he hadn't stepped on. Yeah there was muscle in that.

"I think it is common for people to relax on patches of green! Have you never been to a fucking park before!?" He squawked at the hick and bit his tongue for swearing so forwardly like that. His mother would have clipped his ear for that one. He hissed and seemed to vibrate with anger as his temperament slipped through his fingers. "There is such things as paths! Which is ironically 5 feet to your left!" The snake whimpered and help his tail tighter as it throbbed. Alright so he might have been making a bit of a bigger deal out of it, but it still HURT.

"Of course it is not broken, but it will bruise and be tender now which is something I did not want to deal with so early in the year!" He watched Klaus kneel down next to him and leaned away from the teen. That hadn't stopped the human from entering his personal space bubble and feeling another part of his tail though. As the large hand pushed on an undamaged area the snake's eyes widened and he reacted faster than he'd meant to.

With Klaus' forearm so close to his mouth the most logical thing to do, at that second, had been to sink the red fangs deep into it. Hadn't anyone taught him not to impede on someone's personal space. Or not to piss off snakes of all creatures for that matter! The hick was lucky that Locke had milked his venom before he'd left for the school that morning or he would have been in for a world of trouble.

Klaus didn't mean to step on him! He was trying to find his way and walked off the path and to the grass and to a very angry faunus and he was sure that his tail didn't hurt enough to be causing such a scene! Klaus didn't react like this and he got worse than that through his life! The southerner sighed and tried to remind himself that everyone had different pain thresholds. Apparently the snake's was just real low. At least Klaus guessed so otherwise why would he go on and one about it. Klaus apologized what else could he do?

Then the hick made a terrible choice of kneeling down like that would help. He knew getting down on someone else's level could make them less hostile, so it seemed like a good choice, right? Being as tall and wide as he was, Klaus knew he could be intimidating sometimes. This just made it easier for him to be tempted to run his fingers across Locke's tail however. Not on a part that was hurt, but an invasion of personal space nonetheless.

"Listen I am so so sorry, okay? I didn' mean to fuck yer tail all up, I'm sure it'll heal quick an' ya'll will be all good in no time--OW FUCKING SHIT YA LITTLE-" Klaus trailed of on stream of swears and yells of pain as he found himself with long snake fangs embedded into his arm. What the hell?! He was just being polite why did the snake bite him?! Klaus heaved his chest a bit and winced as he tried to move his arm only to see that it wasn't getting let go. Before he could process proper words to say, Klaus drew his fist back and smacked Locke in the jaw to make him let go. He didn't mean to punch the other student but damn it if panic didn't set in at the thought of snake venom.

Things happened fast.

The hick had closed in on his personal space, touched him without permission and even PUSHED at him! The heir didn't have to take that! Plus he was already frantic from being stomped on by the oaf. As far as he was concerned it seemed completely justifiable that he'd bitten Klaus. He was even getting off easy since there was no venom being pumped into him nor the rest of his hooked teeth stuck in his flesh.

Locke screamed and dislodged his fangs as the human's meaty fist clocked him right in the jaw hinge. His hands shot up to the spot that would no doubt bruise and he let out a loud whimper. Some of the hick's blood dripped from from his fangs and onto his chin as he tried to silence himself from making anymore pained noises as he rubbed at the spot gingerly. His jaw was delicate! He didn't need it being broken right as school began!

Instead of speaking, because that would have hurt, he sent a sharp glare to the human who was fussing over his bite wounds. Oh it wasn't even that bad! Just two punctures from his bigger fangs and nothing else!
