Miles bristled as Tony's sentence began. He knew what the bastard was about to call him, so when he suddenly got cut off the lizard was more than pleased. The sounds that he heard in place of their banter on the other hand was disgustingly distinct and nightmarish. The lizard whipped around, throwing a quick glance over his shoulder towards the shark, to see that the they'd been flanked by Grimm that matched the rotted scenery they'd been offered. "Fuuuck, I ain't ever seen Grimm like these." As he tightened his grip around his crowbar he studied the monsters that rounded in on him. It took a few seconds but soon enough he realized the key feature the creatures flaunted; a buttface. The corner of the ginger's mouth twitched as he lashed out and cracked one of the things across the head? Ass? Growth? Miles wasn't sure as he wailed on the monstrosity. "I told you this place was mockin' me!" A satisfying crunch sounded as the crowbar smacked into another one of the Grimm that got way too close for comfort. Miles took a step back and weighed his options. He didn't want to fire any shots off if he didn't need to, and given how large the forest was he was sure he'd need the ammo. The assfaces weren't so tough! Just...a literal walking insecurity wrapped in nightmare fuel. |

The Jynx Grimm floated skyward as Tony's glyph propelled them upwards, shrieking and clawing at thin air as they found themselves helpless to escape. A high velocity round ripped through the side of one Grimm's head in a shower of black bile, sending one to the ground with a gurgling cry as the others remained floating. Miles' crowbar collided with the tender, fleshy skull of the Magmar Grimm, sending it stumbling backwards and tripping over a cluster of vines. Another Magmar approached, taking a swing at the ginger with a flaming fist that barely came up short as the pair stepped back to plan their next move |

Tony sneered and took a step back at the black bile the sprayed from the grimm's head. They were truly a sight to behold, something he was going to have to get used to dealing and fighting with. However Tony felt that fighting them anywhere else would be preferred. He brought his bloody sleeve back up to his nose to get a deep whiff of the fading smell of sweet citrus. He swore if they didn't get their asses out of these asses that he was never going to smell right again. After a needed break for his nose, Tony cocked the rifle and reloaded another spike into place between the rails of the gun. He took another shot as he stepped back more so, almost jumping as he bumped into Miles. Speaking of the ginger, didn't he say the woods were mocking him again? What was he-- oh. Tony got a look at the butt faces of the fiery grimm creatures, equally as disgusting as the grimm playing human ones. "Give it to 'em nice and hard Miles." Tony said with a slight mock, though he took note of just how jumping the woods were getting, "Then again, three.. well... quite a bit more than three is a crowd, isn't it?" |

The redhead jumped back as a badly aimed punch was thrown his way. The fire that laced the fist was a bit alarming, but nothing he couldn't handle if he did manage brush the flames. He barely twitched as his back bumped into the shark's. Instead he snarled and twirled the crowbar around his palm to get a different grip on it. "Oh shut the FUCK up, Schmidt!" To show just how pleased he was with his friend's joke he purposely pushed off of the shark as he lunged towards the Grimm, hoping to throw his aim off or something of the sort. They wouldn't be bested by such weak monsters but if he managed to upstage Tony during the battle he'd count it as a win to such an awkward experience. With his crowbar positioned to ideally stab something the lizard attempted to plunge the hunk of metal downward into one of the Grimm's skulls. To keep the monsters off his back he swung his right arm out which held his gun and felt it connect with the side of another creature. |

Another spike flew from Tony's weapon, landing in the skull of another fast approaching Grimm. The last Jynx was slowly untangling itself from the magic, lurching forward with slow, plodding steps towards the pair as it paid no mind to its thinning numbers. The Malamar pressing Miles met with a similar, gory fate. The tip of the crowbar jammed straight down into the Magmar's head, wedging between the plates in its skull and wrenching them apart as his arm flailed out and smashed his gun into the face of the last approaching Magmar, dazing it and sending it sprawling. Three was a crowd...and a third Grimm species had just made its appearance. Puddles of slime massed under the boughs of the trees, woken by the sound of battle and the potential for fresh carcasses to feed on. A double-toned, nearly transparent snail like creature slid slowly through the forest floor, horrible sticking and squelching noises accompanying it as it slowly made its way towards the pair, waiting for the Jynx and Magmar to finish so it could pick the bones... |

Tony let out a rude laugh that didn't last long as Miles shoved him away. That wouldn't have been too bad in itself but his glyph had worn off and released the last grimm in human skin. The shark nearly stumbled right into its wide open arms ready to cling to him and do Arceus knew what to him. Probably eat his skin off or something. He sneered and twirled around his gun as he took a step back as quick as he could to avoid the grimm. He bashed the butt of the heavy rifle into its face repeatedly, grimacing as the oozing sludge blood that decorated his high polished gun. The Trill Cannon was going to need a good cleaning after this. Tony paused at the sudden sickening noises. An ear twitched as his head swiveled around. He held his gun at the ready as Miles finished off the last of the ass faces the forest had to offer for the moment. He backed up to Miles once again, not liking the idea of having his back exposed at the moment. "Do you hear that?" Tony asked in a hushed voice at the squelching noise of the new grimm, "More importantly, do you see it?" |

As the last of the Magmar was stunned Miles casually waltzed his way over the carnage of the other corpses and over to the downed creature. He curled his lip back in disgust before he kicked the Grimm under the chin with his pointed boots. The clawed tips easily sliced into the monster's neck and opened it to allow the oily black blood to ooze out. "Ugh...that's the end of that." As if to make sure the ass faced monstrosity was actually dead the ginger gave it another hearty kick before he walked a few feet away to some long dense grass that grew amidst the fungus. Miles grumbled as he tried to wipe the sticky blood from his kicks to the foliage when Tony spoke up. "Hear what?" Miles blinked and looked over his shoulder, straining to hear what the shark did. "...No? Yer paranoid. Let's just get outta here." |

The chaos had provided perfect cover for the Goomy Grimm to slither up, gaping, toothless mouths dripping hot sticky spit that singed the leaves as the passed and made their way towards Miles and Tony. Given the choice between decaying Grimm carcasses and fresh, wriggling meat, the Goomy selected the live prey option, swelling up a few times their original sizes and spitting twin globs of spit at the boys. The spit projectiles missed, flying over their heads and landing on a pair of trees which rapidly became encased in hard, clear spit cocoons. Undeterred, the Goomy readied themselves for another attack... |

"I am not being paranoid! I hear somethi--" Before Tony could continue his angry point, he caught site of the growing grimm, "Fuck, Miles duck!" He snarled at his friend and forced the ginger to jolt down with him as he watched the goo harden against some of the tree's asses. They couldn't let that shit touch them. Being down a limb or two would get them killed. Tony kept a hand on Miles' shoulders and twirled him around to make him a short brick wall of protection between the shark and the Goomy, "Remember when you said you'd keep me safe? Here's your chance to prove shit O'Malley." The shark dug his nails into Miles' shoulder, a keen eye on the grimm, "Alright.. Try to shoot them back with your shotgun, if that's effective keep shooting, if not at least we can get some distance and get outta this forest-- Miles are you listening to me..? MILES WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Miles was being stupid. No one in the world was surprised. |

"What the fuck is that!?" Miles didn't skip a beat as his eyes landed on the demonic jello that slowly slugged their way towards the two. He yelled as he was pulled down to dodge the disgusting attack that left the burls behind them hidden from sight, now covered in what the lizard knew would be end game if they managed to get hit by it. In another whirlwind of movements the Scrafty found himself being hoisted back up, flipped around and left to face the horrible goo monsters head on. His expression was a mix of disgust and horror as the globs stared at the Faunus with sunken beady eyes that pretty much just floated in their mass. Tony was talking but Miles couldn't hear him. They needed to get away from these things and given what they looked like to him, after having had landed in an ass forest where zombie drag queens and buttfaced monsters lurked, he was beginning to panic. The shark's own panicked yells continued to fall on deaf ears as Miles pulled the pin from a grenade. He let it cook for a single second before he pitched the explosive at his literal nightmare. |
