There had been some rumors back when all those grimm had attacked the school. Belle remembered a couple of them that mentioned one team. They'd taken down two grimm that time and she'd been curious about them ever since.

Someone capable of taking down two grimm, even as a team, had to be strong. So she did what was the most logical thing, she went to find them.
With busy schedules lately though, it was hard. She also didn't know their names. Except one, thanks to Benji. More precisely, thanks to her spying on Benji spending time with her and talking about her to some random friends. And she'd found her on the class roster.

A pretty girl with long blonde hair, bushy tail, and fox ears. From what Belle gathered, she was a Braixen faunus and looked like a very cute witch. Maybe she was one. That didn't matter, Belle had one thing in mind.

A fight.

She wanted to test how strong this was, so the next course of action had been to challenge the faunus when she found her They could do it in the Pit with the supervision of a professor. That way they wouldn't get injured and the fight would be fair play. Belle was curious to see how Adina fought. Could she learn things? Grow from the fight?

She'd have to find out and she was... feeling odd. Excited? Was that the appropriate word for this sensation?

"Okay, I want a fair fight. No hair pulling, spitting, killing or dismemberment. And no broken bones either." Korrina looked between the two students as they faced each other.

Belle just nodded and looked at Adina. "Ready."

Adina
The Fire Fox
Adina had been rocking back and forth on her feet while their teacher picked out her fighting partner, and when it turned out to be the monosyllabic robot Belle Kingsley of BKBY she raised an eyebrow. Ever since she started training school she had heard rumours of mechanical hunters being built-- wasn't Belle one of them? She was certain Benji had mentioned something like that at some point while talking about his team.

With a grin spread across her face, Adina settled into position with bouncing legs. She wondered how a hunter bot would fight and she was about to find out.

She only hoped Belle put up a good fight.

"So let's do this!" Adina yelled out, performing a quick succession of twirls with her staff and shooting the first of her trademark fireballs off at Belle.

The teacher expected no serious injuries but a little fire wouldn't hurt, would it?

It seemed like Adina was excited about this fight too. That was good, Belle liked that. She watched the girl closely, paying attention to her behavior, the staff she was carrying, and the fire balls she shot towards her.

Belle wasn't fast. Speed was her lowest trait and she was well aware of this. In return she could take lots of damage before she went down.

This time she didn't need speed. As she watched the fireballs come at her, she took a couple of steps to the side and saw them hit the ground a few feet behind it, after it gently grazed the metallic surface of her arm. Belle turned back back to look at Adina, expression still neutral.

"Let's do this." she said as well, although not with the same excitement as the fox. That didn't mean she wasn't getting into it.

Belle activated her semblance, telekinesis, and out of almost nothing, a pair of big, blue metallic hammers appeared. In truth, she'd opened up her back and let the pair build itself until it was floating above her head.

She'd gotten better since the start of school at using her semblance and weapons. Despite them being big and clunky, the semblance helped her and added to her strength so she could easily use them now.

She lifted one higher up and tossed it at Adina.

So Belle wasn't about to just stand around and take a fireball to the face-- that was fine. Adina never liked to stay still herself, so when the absurdly large hammer came barrelling at her she dove to the side. The air that rushed past her in the hammers wake showed just how much of a punch Belle packed.

Adina remained in a crouching position for a moment, but not wanting to become a living whack-a-mole dummy for Belle's hammers she pushed herself up and ran right for the robot. She wasn't going to stand still all day and swing her hammers; Adina was going to bring it right to her--and maybe crack the android's neutral expression while she was at it. A little excitement from Belle wouldn't overload her circuits, would it?

"Eat this!!" Adina yelled as she closed in on Belle, swinging her staff at her as a bright trail of flames followed. Belle may have just stepped aside a few times with her last barrage, but how was she going to dodge now with it in her face?

This attack was too fast for Belle to avoid. It hit her straight in the face, even catching the tip of her bangs on fire for a second before she put it out with a gentle squeeze of thumb and finger.

In class and otherwise Adina seemed sweet and calm. Belle now knew not to judge someone on first impressions. There was a reason the fox's team had taken down two grimm in one fight and she was about to witness it today, she hoped.

But go down without a fight? No, sir.

With a focused mind and practiced movement of hands, she lifted a rock from behind Adina. It was just a little smaller than her opponent, but Belle didn't plan on hitting her.
She dropped it, just two inches from the other, with a loud slam.

Korrina was about to get up and give Belle a warning, but she relaxed after the rock dropped. This was merely to spook Adina a little and show her what she could do.

"How long have you trained?" Belle asked and retrieved her hammers, both sailing past Adina, one on each side of her until settled onto the Metang's back, kept up by her semblance.
