Theres been some talk lately and I've been wondering myself what would you classify yourself in this hobby, would it be a fan or enthousiest-- take some time to think about it first. I like consider myself both the main reason is because I try to keep my dedidcated to things and I ALSO don't like to go overbroad with it theres actually people (not here in this city) but other places who litterally breath and smoke this hobby and really dont focus on their everyday lives like they should. |

Enthusiast. I don't flaunt my love for public transit, but at the same time am ready to stick up for it and remind others of the costs and health benefits gained from it's existance. My future career will be in transportation but I too have other interests like electronics and books, (some like photography and urban planning go together with my interest in transportation). |

First and foremost I would consider myself a trolley fan particularly the PCC. Then I would be a railfan, trains railroads etc. Still get excited to see a working steam engine. I do like buses but not to the extent of the PCC. So I would be an enthusiast. I also enjoy aviation. I friend of mine years ago took me to the Reading Air Show, got hooked. Google Bob Hoover, saw him fly a P51 Mustang that was amazing. Google Art Scholl too. Saw him that day pop the canopy on his Super Chipmunk and step out on the wing and wave to the crowd. And I spent 35 years in the automobile business, so count me as a automobile fan, too! All in all I'd consider myself a transportation fan |

Good question... Transit enthusiast but still love buses. I love all modes of transportation: trains, trucks, etc. I'm starting to call myself a transit enthusiast more and more. When I say "bus fan" I get some looks mainly because people are not that open minded I guess. When I've said I'm a "transit enthusiast" the responses are different. |
