woah, the last sprites had 17 colours in them (I forgot to count black as one of the colours), which is bad! so I fixed them And thanks, if you guys like them then I won't try to change them too much. |

They look great! Only gripe I have is that the girl's arm looks like it's coming out of her stomach, like one of those alien spawn things....:P Maybe show some of her upper arm? |

Showed a bit of the girl's upper arm, it's kinda hard with her because i'm wresting with her hair when i adjust her arm, i kinda just got fed up and copied her other pigtail, mirrored it, and put it behind her. Tried making the male player a bit more lively, moved his feet apart a little for that "battle stance" feel and also having him grin and toss his pokeball. ALSO... I need you guys' help with this. I want to know if this back sprite tutorial works: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=259898 I tried, but i can't get nameless sprite editor to work on my computer, I use a mac so I have to do all pc things on virtualbox, and while I can do stuff like mapping or scripting, I can't do much by way of sprite insertion, some programs just won't work for me. please help

I really like those sprites... but I wanted to try and tweak 'em a bit...![]() ![]() I bent the boy's arm a bit because he seemed a little stiff and tried showing the girls shoulder a bit because I think she looks more angled that way. I also didn't understand why she had a nose and he didn't, so now they both have noses... yes?no? Edited by HyperAggron, Aug 10 2012, 09:25 PM.

I don't understand what you mean by it looking "too bendy." It's only like 45 degrees from where it originally was... I just though it looked like a more natural stance. But okay. |

The reason his arm looks too bendy is because of the wrist. He's bent his arm inwards, but he's bending his wrist outwards so he's kinda doing an s-shape. Anyway, I had a sprite I was editing a little because Korokos told me the male player's hair looked spikier in the front view than it did in the back. Also tried to fix his serious case of spaghetti arm (the arm tossing the pokeball) and made his other arm longer because it was kinda short. I really don't know about the showing the girl's other shoulder. The way the strap is right now, it looks like it's going around her arm instead of resting on top of her shoulder like it should. |

Fair enough. I think the longer arm fixes the issue I had with it anyway. The hair looks better too. But the thing about the girl's shoulder is that, as it stands, she barely has one. Edited by HyperAggron, Aug 12 2012, 07:42 AM.

The boy hardly has one either. Logically, we're not going to see much of the furthest shoulder anyway seeing how it's turned away from us. Anyway, here's another edit: Tried to put the strap higher and all that jazz. Other edits include putting her feet closer together (she looked kinda off-balance before, especially when the sprite was flipped horizontally), and rounding out the back of her head. |
