Alright, just to get things straight first, this isn't going to be about gym types exactly (at least not at first). The discussion for that seems to be going on over here: http://s4.zetaboards.com/ChampionVersion/topic/9387875/1/ In this topic, I would like us to discuss certain personalities that we would like to see represented. EDIT: We're not going to discuss Pokemon the gym leaders will have or what type they'll have. We are going to focus on just the gym leaders and creating interesting personalities. GYM LEADERS:

Specifically, the Lazuli City gym leader is going to be the President's wife. She's the head of a very well-known and wealthy fashion company. She doesn't take crap from anyone so we may end up seeing her taking part in the plot beyond just being a gym leader. Port Pumice is home to an adventurous and kind-hearted man that rescues people and Pokemon from danger. He does it because the area surrounding Port Pumice is extremely hazardous, but he doesn't use the terrain as a test for trainers so he bears no ill-will towards those he rescues. |

I believe there were two suggestions for the Crocoite City gym leader: a Lifeguard and a hotshot surfer... the life guard could act like a hotshot too...? |

Personally, I think either of those two professions would work better in Quartz City. I had sorta been imagining a tour guide for Crocoite if that's interesting to everyone else. |

So Krokorok Tights City leader is a tour guide, Quartet City leader is a hotshot lifeguard sorta dude, and Poor Poo Mice leader saves ignorant boobs who are about die in the harsh (jungle?) environment. Is that right? Would this be a good place to decide level curves as well? If so, I'm thinking 13, 20, 24, 29, 33, 38, 44, 47 r something to that effect. |

16, 22, 27, 33, 36, 41, 47, 52? I just don't want to have to do a tits load of grinding between gyms like in BW2. Edited by HyperAggron, May 7 2013, 07:37 AM.

That level curve seems reasonable and if there are no other suggestions, I think we should use it |

Are we going to replace the Gym Leaders in the first version as well? If so, we need to find the designs again, and start creating them. I'm not sure where some of the designs disappeared to though... |

No, the point of the lite version is to cut down on our workload. Gym leaders are fine as they are. |
