[NRP] Chakra Rank Progression: As mentioned before in the Character Policy post - Chakra Ranks and Village Ranks are two very different things. This is to have the same realistic views/order - for example a Genin will never be able to beat a Jonin. This has clearly affected the characters that have been and are being made (despite various limitations, which have also affected the "realism" of the characters). Biographies that start at any of these ranks follow the guidelines of three techniques above their current letter rank or one technique above that (so at D-rank, you'd have the choice of three C-rank or one B-rank technique). The weekly system has been reverted so that nobody is utterly confused/has to cry/complain about how it is done.
This isn't "new" but it is simplistic enough that we should all be able to follow it. PS: simply posting a biography then leaving it to rank up is not permitted, and you'll only halt yourself if you purposely do so:
- E to D-rank: Any amount of time.
- D to C-rank: Have had current character for three days total: notably excessive role-playing by staff members may permit a faster attaining of said rank.
- C to B-rank: Have had current character for one week total: notably excessive role-playing by staff members may permit a faster attaining of said rank.
- B to A-rank: Have had current character for two weeks total: notably excessive role-playing by staff members may permit a faster attaining of said rank, but it is still considerably slow considering the gap between B and A.
- A to S-rank: Have had current character for three weeks total: notably excessive role-playing by staff members may permit a faster attaining of said rank, but it is unlikely that the character'll ever ascend past this rank (because everyone character hops anyway).
- Having an insufficient amount of scenes gives staff members the right to decline the attaining of any rank.

| [NRP] Village Promotions and You: In the realm of the Narutoverse the act of rising among the ranks in a village is a reflection of a shinobi's skill and ability. For that reason and from now on, when promoted in rank your chakra rank will not increase. Promotions should be given upon demonstrating skill and prowess in combat or other scenarios. Therefore, I emphasize again, when you are promoted from Genin to Chunin or Chunin to Jonin, your chakra rank does not increase. You must follow the time table listed above. On top of that, all promotions should now be done in order. As in Genin can only become Chunin and Chunin can only become Jonin. In Kage elections the selected will be among the Jonin of the village or someone of equal significance or status. |
| [NRP] You're Dead, So Now: This is to promote the act of fair game. If your character was a B Ranked Jonin or of similar status from creation, once restored or killed your next character must begin at D Rank (NOTE: Since someone seems to lack common sense, this does not mean that just because you worked a character up to B-rank that your next one may be B-rank as well. It just means that you may make a JONIN at B-RANK - not a Genin at B-rank, or any other combination besides the cannon compositions). This is primarily to avoid people dying and simply given a character of the same rank over and over again each time. To clarify on another note, if your created character progressed it's way from a D Rank shinobi to B Rank, to name an example, you do have the permission to create a character at B Rank from creation due to the fact that you were not given the rank, on the contrary you worked for it. As always, however, ranks and village status have to be approved by the respective Kages of your designated village. |
