After Nathan Hardy’s bolt down the entrance ramp, he slides into the ring and composes himself enough for a proper start to this title match. The referee takes the Intercontinental Championship from it’s current holder, raising it in the air as the official bell tolls and the contest begins. Before the cruiserweight can successfully react, he is knocked down by a sinter forearm to the skull. Tommy Dragon stalks his surprised victim, this simple game of cat and mouse beginning with some brutal stomps of his boot into the carcass of the challenger. After finding that his kicks can only do so much damage, he awaits for the struggling athlete to rise from the canvas before wrenching the arm of the newly returned superstar. In an instant, the captive has his limb placed behind his torso while being lifted from his vertical position and crashing down to the canvas in a Hammerlock Powerslam. Nathan Hardy squirms on the springed surface, unable to mount an offense while his opponent quickly moves over to the fallen lower body of the warrior. The Hotshot pulls the sole of his imprisoned foe upwards, aiming perfectly to drive his toe in the defenseless quadriceps of the kicking athlete. He repeats this several times, obviously choosing to target the right ankle of the warrior when the twin foot slams itself into the jaw of the American Crippler, knocking him backwards in pain. This causes a sensational uplift in the crowd’s reactions, now they begin to cheer for the retaliating Nathan Hardy. He hobbles a bit as he rises, ready for a comeback as the champion attempts to stand. Hardy takes his opponent by the wrist, violently whipping him toward the ring ropes and awaiting his rebound. Tommy stomps towards his patient foe, unable to halt his progress before being smashed in the face by a Standing Dropkick. The receiver of the blow instinctively tries to stand up from the canvas, but he is whacked by an identical dropkick from his quick challenger. Nathan Hardy rolls to his feet a third time, charging at the dazed New Yorker and latching onto his cranium before spinning around wildly to plant his imprisoned adversary into the mat with the Tornado DDT. Taken off guard, The Hotshot is covered while the referee slaps the fabric of the squared circle for the official count.

Tommy Dragon is able to kick out, thrusting his legs off the mat in order to get the momentum his upper body required. Nathan is visually upset with this, hoping to be crowned the new Intercontinental Champion after gaining the upperhand against the more experienced technician. Hardy forces himself off the canvas and watches the crowd as they cheer him on for a few moments, before changing their expressions in order to warn the challenger. The challenger cannot doges and is taken out from behind via a Basement Dropkick. The Hotshot returns to his dominance and places the shin of his challenger beneath his underarm, swinging himself around for the New York Crab for his first submission attempt.

A sharp pain instantly spreads throughout the fallen Hardy's thigh muscle as Dragon continues pulling further and futher back increasing the pain. Nathan lets out a loud warrior like battle cry as he forces his body forward trying to get to the ropes to break this hold. The young man stretches his arm until he cannot stretch it any further and still finds his finger tips linguring infront of the rubber covered steel cables. Again he lets out a warrior like cry and pulls himself as far as his body will take him with the 244 pound man practically sitting on top of him. This finally attempt is enough as he stretches his arm one last time and latches onto the bottom rope. Tommy, being the gentleman that he is, decides to finally let go as the ref's count gets to four. The American Crippler lifts the limp body of his fallen opponent off of the sweat stained canvas and to a verticle base. He can barely hold back his laughter as Hardy hobbles around on his damaged right leg. The Hotshot decides to just toy with the young man as he delivers a few slaps to the cheek of Hardy, merely adding insult to injury. He is caught off gaurd when one of these slaps is blocked by the left forearm of The Risktaker, and followed up with right cleaning Dragon's clock. Tommy stumbles backwards dazed by the sudden strike to his head. He quickly regains his composure and glares at Hardy with eyes of pure anger and hatred towards this cocky rookie. The New Yorker rushes Nathan and pulls his arm out to his side in an attempt to deliver a Clothesline with enough force to knock Hardy's head off. This move is in vain however, as The North Carolina native is able to duck underneath The Hotshot's arm. When Tommy turns around he is met with a devistating size 12 boot to the side of his head as Nathan drops him with an Enziguiri. This moves causes the sickening smack of leather hitting skin to echo throughout the arena and causes the crowd to flinch at the impact. Nathan quickly jumps to his feet still feeling the effects of the New York Crab as he rubs his left thigh trying to get the feeling back. He falls to the canvas ontop of Tommy going for the pin. The referee quickly slides in next to the two battered superstars and begins slapping the canvas.

Kickout! Nathan looks up devestated that he still had to continue in this match. Breathing heavily, he lifts Dragon to a verticle base. He steps forwards towards him and slams him with a right. To his surprise, Tommy quickly fires back with a right of his own. The two begin to battle it out in the centre of the ring exchanging rights, trying to get the upperhand. Hardy seems to run out of gas as The American Crippler takes over delivering right after right with no retaliation from the Gothic Grappler. He lifts his foot up and smashes it into the abdomen of Nathan doubling him over with a Toe Kick. He follows this up by tucking Hardy's head under his arm and dropping backwards to the canvas planting Hardy with a DDT.

(I tried to get it about the same length.)

With that fatal shot under his belt, Tommy feels confident enough to try and wrap things up then and there. He rolls Nathan up into a School Boy Pin, and the referee engages the count.

Tommy disengages the pin and gets up to collect his title. Meanwhile, the ring announcer declares the results to the crowd.

Announcer: And your winner, and STILL Pojo Wrestling Alliance Intercontinental Champion... TOMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYY DRAGON!
