PWA Insanity returns from it’s last commercial break to find Kyle “The Freak” Rieger inside the ring, waving to the fans as “The Final Countdown” continues to play. The sounds of Europe fades away and are replaced by the theme of the champion, which seems to have been changed to a rather awkward tune. They say that there's a broken light for every heart on Broadway, They say that life's a game and then they take the board away They give you masks and costumes and an outline of the story, Then leave you all to improvise their vicious cabaret Needless to say, this was not what would normally introduce the Intercontinental Champion whenever he made his way to the ring. Someone had replaced the gripping “John the Revelator” by Depeche Mode with some unknown singer, who continues to sing in a haunting tone. In no longer pretty cities there are fingers in the kitties, There are warrants, forms, and chitties and a jackboot on the stair There’s sex and death and human grime, in monochrome for one thin dime, And at least the trains all run on time but they don't go anywhere Tommy Dragon appears from behind the black curtain, stumbling about with his championship on his shoulder while “This Vicious Cabaret” blasts from the sound system. He holds his head in pain, shaking it off in order to continue down to the entrance ramp. Facing their responsibilities either on their backs or on their knees. There are ladies who just simply freeze and dare not turn away And the widows who refuse to cry will be dressed in garter and bow-tie, And be taught to kick their legs up high in this vicious cabaret The Hotshot slides into the squared circle, his music continuing in to play as he climbs the turnbuckle corner. He raises his championship belt into the air, climbing down only to be smashed in the back by the veteran challenger. Before the announcer can address the audience, he must flee to the outside as the match begins with the chime of the ring bell. |

The Freak delivers several shots to the back of Tommy Dragon’s skull, knocking the champion into the corner with each blow. Before the strikes to his head force him into a coma, The Hotshot delivers a hard elbow to the jaw of his opponent. Kyle Reiger stumbles away, allowing his victim to recover and prepare for his own offensive. Tommy charges forward to catch his foe with a sudden Lariat Clothesline, catching the challenger in his chest so he crashes to the canvas. As the audience watches in anxiety, the American Crippler pretends to lunge forward with each twitch of the dazed gladiator’s carcass. It takes a minute or two, but the veteran finally stands upright as his stalker scrambles towards the still aching combatant. Using his expert chain wrestling skills, he twists until he is firmly behind the unknowing athlete and snakes his hands upwards until they hold onto the performer underneath the arms. The New Revelation steps back before sending his captive over the top rope in a Release Dragon Suplex, still looking into the crowd in order to avoid watching the fan favorite’s wicked plummet to the concrete below. The Freak smacks the outside with a vicious thud, his opponent not taking long to meet him by rolling outside and peeling him from the black padding. He rolls the defensive athlete into the ring, climbing up the steel steps and going in between the ropes. Kyle slowly begins to rise, turning around until he is caught by the champion with no way of escaping. Tommy hoists his captive onto his shoulder before stepping forward and slamming the top of his arm into the dominant warrior’s knee in a Running Shoulderbreaker. The Technical Spectacle heads to the apron, ascending to the top rope and using it for momentum before diving onto his target’s prone anatomy in a Springboard Frog Splash. He hooks the legs while the referee slides over to make the official count. Johnny: Could this be an early win for the champion? Donny: It may just be, Johnny, Kyle is out for good. 1... 2... |

3!!! Ring Announcer: Here is your winner and STILL the PWA Intercontinental Champion…TOMMY DRAGON!!! “This Vicious Cabaret” hit’s the sound system and Tommy Dragon rises, checking his forehead as if it were split open. He feels no blood, thinking that he must have imagined the liquid sensation he felt on his skull and receives his championship. The Hotshot lifts the title into the air before stumbling backstage for some rest and relaxation as the matches for the next part of the Three Hours of Power tournament are announced. |
