DING DING DING!

The noise from the bell circulates throughout the Dvorec Sporta Arena while Vegeta and Alex have an intense staredown. Both men are in their corners, mentally prepping themselves for this match that has potential to turn into a war. After last night, Vegeta has enough on his mind to pump himself up. Watching the tape back from THoP, Vegeta saw who did what, since at the time everything was happening while he was pretty much knocked out. Having his face beaten in, compliments of Alex’s fists, Vegeta booked this one on one match hoping to get revenge. Alex, along with his three stable members, beat the living hell out of The Icon last night at Three Hours of Power. At the time, Vegeta wasn’t able to put up much of a fight, but tonight is a different night and he‘s ready for anything. With a rather wide smirk on his face, Alex believes that he doesn’t need anyone to hold Vegeta’s arms behind his back in order for him to beat him up- as Julio Guerrera did last night which allowed Alex to get in a few cheap shots. As both men feel they have what it takes to beat the other man, the referee tells them to get it on. This match is officially underway as Vegeta and Alex make their way towards the center of the ring. Not wasting anymore time, they immediately engage in a lockup. The young and brass wrestler finds himself unable to hold his own in a test of strength against the two-time World Champion. Vegeta may be slightly shorter than his competitor, but in this contest, size doesn’t matter. Alex tries holding his own, digging his boots into the canvas, but nothing works- Vegeta is just to strong for him. Knowing that controlling this match early on is vital to his chances at having his hand raised at the end, Alex acts out of sheer desperation. Lifting his foot off the mat, he shoves his knee into The Showstopper’s abdomen. The shift shot forces Vegeta to release his grip on Alex and rush his hands to his stomach. It’s like clockwork from here, as Alex throws his right hand up around the ten o’clock mark, swinging it across his body and connecting with Vegeta’s temple. The punch packed so much strength behind it that the PWA Owner gets knocked down to his back! Shaking it off, Vegeta rushes to his feet with intentions of teaching this kid a lesson. Standing at a vertical base, Vegeta dashes off towards The Glorificent One. Alex’s quickness comes in handy as he is able to drop onto his side, but at the same time he has both of his hands on the top rope, pulling it downward. The former European Champion is unable to put on his breaks and finds himself falling over the lowered ropes and to the outside of the ring. The England native finds himself drawing in thousands of boos as this Russian crowd seems to love Vegeta as much as American’s do! As the fans surrounding the perimeter of the barrier cheer Vegeta on, Alex knows that if he wants to beat the Hall of Famer, he going to have to physically and mentally wear him down. Slowly rising to his feet on the outside, Vegeta is completely oblivious to his adversary inside the ring. As the fans pat Vegeta on his back, Alex takes several steps back- waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Vegeta staggers towards the ring, unsteady on his feet, while Alex G. goes in for the kill. Running towards Vegeta, Alex dives onto the canvas as if he were playing for the New York Yankees, shoving the bottom of his boots into Vegeta’s face with a Baseball Slide. This sends Vegeta to the same spot where he was just moments ago- resting up against the black ring barrier.

With a feeling of even greater confidence than usual Alex looks down at Vegeta, the young grappler smirks, as he is about to make his intentions perfectly clear. Showing a new side to his flawless wrestling ability Giltinane runs back against the ropes behind him, he bounces off of them and tears forwards towards the other set of ropes. “The Glorificent One” leaps over the top rope to where Vegeta is now standing, catching the owner with a stinging Plancha . Not knowing whether or not Alex meant to make the contact, which he did, the crowd gasp. The replay shows that Alex caught Vegeta in such a way that “The Icon’s” skull was smashed against the unforgiving barricade. “The Main Event” is quickly back to his feet, not wanting to give Vegeta time to recover although for that to happen he would have to give a lot of time. Suddenly Alex realises all this time the referee had been administering a ten count to possibly end this match. Alex was having none of this and rolled back into the ring stopping the count, he then rolled back out of the ring to continue his assault on Vegeta who was trying to pick himself back up using the guardrail.

Donny: I can’t believe how aggressive Alex Giltinane has been here tonight.

Johnny: I can’t believe how muck of a prick he was at Three hours of Power, leaving Krazy Kid to try to fend off both Steele and Julio Guerrera.

Donny: Yeah well Alex has realised a valuable lesson, and that is to align yourself with people who are respected and not that jobber Krazy Kid, who jobs to Assassin by the way!

Johnny: Who’s Assassin?

Donny: Never mind.

As the commentators finish their rather idiotic ramblings the focus goes back to the action taking place down at ringside, where as before Alex Giltinane has control of the ring veteran Vegeta. The young Englishman lifts Vegeta up to his feet before quickly ramming his shoulder into Vegeta’s ribs and forcing his back against the barricade. The crowd begin to boo the antics of the former fan favourite, who is too busy listening to the referees count as it is now up to seven. Alex slides into the ring before once again getting back out, but in doing this breaks the referees count and means that he must start again from one. “The Enigmatic Phenom” grabs Vegeta by the hair and drags him up to his feet again, once he has Vegeta up Alex drills him with a nice right, Alex doesn’t waste time as he pulls his right fist back again, and again connects with the face of “The Icon” Vegeta. The former World Champion looks out a little of sorts as he continues to be demolished by the younger Alex G. Realising that he has complete control Alex mercilessly drags Vegeta towards the ring steps, once beside them Alex bounces Vegeta’s head off of them causing a thud which you could probably here back in America. The Russian crowd don’t take kindly to Alex’s antics so they begin to chant Vegeta’s name, hoping they can inspire him to a comeback. Upon hearing the Russians chants Alex just simply sticks two fingers up at them, this causes even more chants of Vegeta, as the Russians grow more annoyed at the arrogance of Alex Giltinane.

Donny: I can’t believe he just did that. Folks at home we are sorry if his actions caused any offence. We love Russians really.

Johnny: Especially young Russian girls who can be purchased on street corners.

Donny: Errrm….

Alex rolls Vegeta back into the ring, thus ending his assault on the outside and maybe concentrating more on a wrestling match. Vegeta crawls to one of the four corners of the ring and sits down in it trying to regain his energy, of course Alex doesn’t allow him to do this and instead charges at Vegeta before delivering a vile Face Wash made famous by Samoa Joe. Vegeta clutches his face, now in pure agony as Alex’s onslaught becomes even more relentless, the 22 year old Londoner stands Vegeta up in the corner, he then delivers a stinging chop across his opponents chest, enjoying the noise made by the chop Alex nails another one, reddening Vegeta’s chest. Now happy that he has chopped the holy crap out of Vegeta, Alex grabs Vegeta and props him up onto the top turnbuckle obviously looking for a high-risk manoeuvre, but what is it going to be? Well to answer that question there is not going to be one, instead Alex backs up into the opposite turnbuckle and charges at Vegeta, Alex runs at a blistering pace before nailing Vegeta in the mouth with a hard hitting Yakuza kick . The kick shakes Vegeta; Vegeta however remains on the top rope but looks very dazed, Alex takes advantage of Vegeta’s predicament, “The Main Event” begins to slowly climb to the top rope where Vegeta is still seated, Alex takes his time once he reaches the top, which is never a god idea. “The Glorificent One” hooks Vegeta’s arms in a Butterfly lock almost positioning Vegeta for a Butterfly Suplex. Somehow though Vege manages to wrestle one of his arms free of Alex’s tight grasp, Vegeta then uses his now free arm to punch Alex in the midsection and unbalance the aggressor, Vegeta then manages to get his other arm free, from there the tired battler pushes Giltinane from the top, back first onto the mat. Alex holds his spine but that’s all he can do because like lightning hitting a tree Vegeta flies from the top hitting Alex with a beautifully placed Elbow Drop . Vegeta stays in his position on top of Giltinane, making this the first pin attempt of this match.
New PWA record.

With all the action going on, the referee sure is having his work cut out for him in this matchup. Realizing there is a pin attempt, he does his job once again and dives head-first towards the scene. He quickly throws his right hand into the air as the Russian crowd gets ready to count in unison. As his hand draws closer to the mat, the camera gets a picture perfect shot- showing that both wrestlers are pretty spent right about now. The referee’s hand finally smacks against the canvas, causing the crowd to erupt along with him.

KICKOUT!!!

Alex G manages to escape a close call, just raising his shoulder off the mat at the very last moment. The referee gives the peace sign to the announcer, indicating to him that it was a near-fall and only a two count. Pretty dazed at the moment, Vegeta rolls onto his stomach and begins crawling towards the ropes. Alex’s body is pretty banged up right about now, feeling pain on both sides after falling from the top ropes and then having an elbow drilled into his heart. The thoughts going inside both wrestlers’ minds are almost identical- each man knowing that the other is hurt and now is the time to go in for the kill. Although Alex G may not know this, but Vegeta’s mindset is to get payback for two things. Not only does The Icon want revenge for last night’s attack, but it’s also been rumored backstage that The Glorificent One has called Vegeta overrated. Those words to the two-time World Champion and Hall of Famer are equivalent to spitting in someone’s face. Wanting to prove to Alex, as well as the rest of the guys in the back, that he isn’t overrated, Vegeta finds the will and strength to get to his feet. Alex is resting on his knees, holding his chest, but quickly pops up to a standing position after he notices Vegeta is up. Alex believes that this is his time to shine and that Vegeta is a mere out-dated man who still thinks he has what it takes to still perform like he use to- a thing of the past so to speak. As they find themselves standing in the middle of the ring, the Russian fans click the buttons on their cameras to take pictures of this once in a life time experience. Who knows when the next time the Pojo Wrestling Alliance will return to a Russian arena? Alex G is the first to make a move, leaning back with his arm cranked back. Mustering up all his strength, Alex packs a punch directed straight for Vegeta’s face. The haymaker is dodged by The Showstopper- he may be older than Alex but he’s still pretty darn quick. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity to hopefully regain the offense in this match, the PWA Owner thinks about shoving his knuckles into Alex’s mouth, but Alex isn’t stupid. Even for a young wrestler, Giltinane was smart enough to cover his face up with the hand he didn’t throw the punch with. Well with his face covered, Vegeta goes for the next best thing. He throws a quick jab at his adversary, which finds it’s target quite easily- Alex’s stomach.

Johnny: What a punch, this is Vegeta moment if he wants to leave this match the winner. Look at Alex’s face, it’s turning blue!

Donny: It must be the lighting. Yeah, that’s it. Someone turn that off, it’s blinding the poor guy.

Spotlight or not, it’s pretty obvious that Alex just had the wind knocked out of him after being on the receiving end of a vicious punch to his belly. While The Main Event gasps for air, Vegeta’s notorious cockiness comes into play as he lifts his arms into the air, leaving them draped outward trying to mimic Alex’s stable leader Steele. The crowd eats this up, knowing that not only was Steele the mastermind behind Vegeta’s attack last night but The Franchise and The Icon also have a pretty in-depth history together. One would speculate that Vegeta is making a huge mistake here and that instead of taking the time to mock Alex and his friends, he shouldn’t waste anytime and should just worrying about taking care of his opponent first. Well for as long as he’s been in this business, Vegeta seems to always know when the time is right to put on a show for the crowd and he sure was right this time because even though he wasted valuable time, he’s still able to pick up where he left off. Giltinane is still favoring his stomach, taking quick and sporadic breaths. The New Jersey native hooks his arm around the back of Alex’s neck, intending to make him pay for his comments as well as his actions last night. Reaching around with his free hand, Vegeta reaches down and grabs onto Alex’s attire. All in one swift motion, Vegeta lifts Alex into the air and plants him headfirst into the canvas, hitting an Evenflow DDT!

Johnny: By god, I don’t believe what I just saw. I’m a major fan of Vegeta, but I think he may be taking this grudge to far.

Donny: I hope Steele’s watching this. First he mocks him and now Vegeta does exactly what Steele did to him last night. I bet he’s furious!

A huge Vegeta chant breaks out as the camera gets a clear shot of his face- which includes a huge smirk. Whether furthering the mockery of Alex’s leader is a good idea or not, the fact of the matter is that it got the job done. The young Englishman seems unconscious, barely moving a muscle. Vegeta knows that this would be the perfect way to put away The Enigmatic Phenom, but a pin seems to be out of his playbook. Walking towards the corner, the mindset of the man sporting the lime green shirt is that Alex hasn’t paid enough just yet. Standing in his corner, Vegeta throws in hands in the air to get the crowd behind him. All it took was just a few seconds to have the entire arena in the palm of his hand- slamming his boot onto the canvas signaling that Alex’s time is up! The sold out arena filled of men and women, young and old, all know what Vegeta intends on doing. But unfortunately for him, Alex G. may be the only one inside the arena not aware of Vegeta’s premeditated plan as he is slowly getting to his feet. Gilitinane’s eyes are glazed over and his actions speak volumes, as he struggles to even get onto all fours. Still propped up against the corner, Vegeta’s stomps get faster and faster as Alex gets closer to regaining equilibrium.

Johnny: If he hits this, it’s safe to say that this match will be all said and done.

Donny: I have faith in Alex. He’s apart of Steele’s and Julio’s stable, how could he let them down and lose to Vegeta?! Come on Alex, there is a lot riding on this match.

Johnny: How much is it this time?

Donny: That fourteen year old Russian boy and a PS3. Alex, kick his ass!

Alex Giltinane finally stands, falling to victim to the Sweet Chin Music the fans had been waiting for. Vegeta's boot smacks him across the jaw, knocking him out long enough for The Boss to get the cover.

Ring Announcer: Here is your winner...VEGETA!!!

"In the End" by Linkin Park hits, but Vegeta is given no time to celebrate. He notices that on the entrance ramp is Julio Guerrera and Steele, both men ready to brawl. It appears there would be some confrontation, but the fans at home will never see it, the camera fading to commercial.
