*Freak steps out of the curtain, in his jacket and head band, he walks to the ring with surprising energy, almost strutting his way down, but seems a little out of step*

Announcer: From the mean streets of Chicago, Illinois, representing the Northwest Suburbs, he weighs two-hundred sixty pounds, and is six foot three inches tall, ladies and gentleman, Kyle "The Freak" Rieger

*Freak walks around the ring, continuing his strut, and goes and high fives Donny. He climbs on the ring apron, and starts to strut along it before finally getting in the ring. He shakes the ref and the announcer's hands, and climbs on one of the turnbuckles, raising his arms in the air. He starts to sing along with his music.*

You, they think you're dumb
I think you're smart
No, wait, I lied

The new Intercontinental champion heads to the center of the ring. He doesn't try any of his traditional pre-match stalling, maybe he thinks it won't work tonight, or maybe he's just ready to fight. He starts to crack his neck, and his goal seems to be to look as menacing as possible to his smaller Opponent. Alex heads to the center of the ring as well, trying to look as nonchalant and uncaring as possible, his goal seems to be to psych The Freak out by showing no care. He may be at a distinct disadvantage in the match, but its almost as if he doesn't notice it. The ref starts to go over the rules, Freak just looks at him and starts circling his finger, he wants this all to hurry up so that the match can begin. The ref just looks to the timekeeper, and he signals the bell. Freak and Alex are circling around the center of the ring, they've had enough experience that they want to feel this all out before either makes a first move. Freak gets the sick smirk on his face, and he offers Alex his arm. Alex looks confused at the situation, Freak's given away a hold, something that most wrestlers would dare not do. Freak keeps pointing at the arm, and tells him to take it. Alex finally gives into temptation, and he grabs a hold of Freaks left arm. Before he can even make a move with it, Freak has his right fist balled up, and drawn back. Freak sends his fist flying square into Alex's face, hitting him square in the jaw with a jab. This gives a little bit of a shock to Alex, but he knows Freak will work psychologically anyway that he can, and he chalks that one up to his own stupidity. Freak lifts his right arm in the air, and sends a Forearm into Alex's chest. It collapses in somewhat, but that will not stop Alex at all. He lifts up his own right arm, and sends a Forearm into his chest. Freak takes the blow and doesn't move at all, it may be that he didn't feel it, or he may be hiding his pain. Freak draws his right arm across his chest, then sends a Chop straight into Alex's chest. The crowd chants the customary WOOOOOO, they may not like either of the men in the ring, but they will not pass up a single chance to be involved in the match. Alex doesn't move, he's starting to build up a little rage, and he's ready to respond to Freak's attack. He points his toe at the ground a little bit, lifts his leg up a little, draws it back, and delivers a Kick to Freak's stomach. Freak doesn't move either, these men are in a stalemate of offense, and neither wants to lose any ground. Freak draws his right arm across his chest again, and he throws another Chop straight into Alex's chest. The crowd chants WOOOOOO again, and they anticipate Alex's next move. He continues with the same strategy, he lifts his right leg off the ground, draws it back, and gives Freak another Kick to the stomach. Freak shakes it off, he cracks his neck back and forth, and lets Alex know with his hands that he should give him another one. Alex gets puzzled, but he draws his foot back again, and sends another Kick to Freak's Stomach. Alex looks back at Freak's face, there's no grimace of pain, no anger, all there is is that same cocky smirk. Freak just looks into Alex's eyes, and he doesn't see confidence, he sees fear, and that's one look that you should never have when you are facing Kyle Rieger. Freak draws his right arm across his chest yet again, he sends another chop straight into Alex's chest. The crowd chants WOOOOOOO again, and immediately after Freak right arm hits Alex's chest with another chop. The chant of WOOOOOOO comes again, and it repeats three more times, three chops and three WOOOOs, and Alex is dazed on his feet a little bit because of the Series of Chops. Freak puts his right arm across his chest for a final time, He begins to rotate around, he hits the 360 but he doesn't stop, then on his second rotation as he passes Alex he gives him a chop that goes completely across his chest. The momentum is too much, Alex is sent to the canvas, his chest is now red and raw, it might seem like his breast bone is caving in. Freak walks over to him, he looks down over him and he shakes his head. Alex's pain may be just beginning, he's got to recover quickly from The Discus Chop Freak's got to ponder what to do next, he can continue the damage, work Alex over, and get the match over quickly. Freak's not in the mood to get the quick and easy win tonight though, he wants to cause pain, he wants to make Alex suffer, and he wants to show everyone else in the THoP tourney that he's in it to win it. Freak heads over the the corner, climbs to the top rope, lifts a middle finger to the crowd members behind him, and begins to think what he should do next.

Johnny: What is Freak doing, he's in prime position to stay on top in the match. This is the first round of Three Hours of Power, and although he's got a newly won Intercontinental title, I think he'd also like to add the world title to his resume.

Donny: All this is to Freak is a game, he's been on a path of dominance with a few minor stumbles since his return. He just wants some time to think, recover, and get his mind back on the right track. He knows exactly what he's doing right now,.

The new champion sits atop his ‘throne’ looking down upon the peasant beneath him, Kyle’s mind still mixed as to his next course of action. Whether to show off, or to just go for the kill? Soon his moment of opportunity has passed and his energetic young opponent has arisen from the cold hard canvas. Alex’s sculpted face now showing rage and anger, his usual calm demeanour has been replaced by lust, lust to win the THoP that is! Knowing just how dominant his opponent has been Alex knows that he must not equal him but better him or be another victim on the Intercontinental Champions list. The former Hardcore Champion beckons for the Freak to some down from the top rope, Kyle lifts his nose into the air almost as if to say “I’ll come down when I want, you’re not the boss of me”. The Glorificent One takes exception to this and makes his way towards Rieger, upon reaching his desired destination the main event drives his right fist into Kyle’s smug little face. The features of Kyle do not shift as he delivers a punch straight back to Giltinane who staggers slightly due to the size advantage his opponent has been gifted with. This however does not deter the cruiserweight fighter who charges straight back towards Rieger, this time Kyle is ready and delivers a boot straight to his foes face, Alex spins 180 degrees thanks to the boot, during this time Freak gets down from his perch and nails Alex from behind with a well placed Clothesline . The Freak watches intently as his adversary crumbles to the mat following the heavy blow. Kyle doesn’t waste time following up, he quickly and very deliberately drops an elbow into Alex’s left kidney, Freak smiles callously before dropping a second more vicious elbow. Alex screams in pain as Kyle digs his elbow in even harder. Kyle stands up for a third time and again drives his elbow into Alex’s kidney. Rieger leans into the elbow drop even more this time and leaves it there for longer. The pain for Giltinane is evident for all to see; some fans even wince just at the thought of how much pain the 22 year old British competitor is going through. Of course this does not bother Rieger who could not be happier that his opponent is struggling for air delivers more punishment by booting the still grounded Giltinane in the ribs. Having had enough Rieger shows his dominance by pulling Alex to his feet, the Intercontinental Champion then clubs his adversary in the back sending Giltinane straight back to the mat from which he had just come. The punishment did not cease as Freak quickly lifted Alex to his feet again before delivering another clubbing shot to his back, this time Alex does not fall as Kyle does not let his, he instead receives another club and this time is allowed to fall. Kyle’s demeanour is now cocky and arrogant; the young warrior is now all about showing off and letting everyone know just how dominant he really is at the expense of Alex Giltinane. The current champion and favourite for this match paces the ring like a caged animal waiting for another chance to pounce on his helpless prey, the chance is soon presented to him as Alex gets back to his feet the enthusiastic young competitor is not given much time as Rieger quickly delivers a stiff kick to his ribs, Alex’s already reddened chest is the Freak’s next target as Rieger kicks higher and catches him just below the throat sending Giltinane backwards into the canvas, almost as soon as Alex hits the mat Rieger leaps into the air he stretches out his legs before dropping them across Alex’s unprotected throat. The match seems almost too easy for the dominant Freak, who taunts his fallen victim a little before delivering another vicious leg drop. The Enigmatic Phenom clutches at his throat as he chokes following the larynx crushing leg drops he has just been the recipient of. Freak rolls Alex onto his back and goes for the cover, happy with the damage and pain he has now caused.

The incompetent official can not count quickly enough and gives Alex enough time to kick out. Knowing that Steele is watching him is probably driving Giltinane to perform better in this match, as he definitely does not wish to get another super kick. The Freak shows a glimpse of frustration on his usually calm face, this is not a good sign for Giltinane who has definitely taken the most punishment in this match. With all the smart money on Kyle Rieger to win Alex has nothing to lose, if he can find his way back into this match that is! As simple as that may sound Alex can hardly breathe and is facing one of the most deadly individuals in PWA history and a proud member of the WAR faction. Rieger decides to recommence his assault by helping Giltinane back to his feet, the uncaring individual throws a careless right hand at Giltinane’s face, and the shot catches the youngster right between the eyes and sends him staggering backwards, The American Nightmare follows up his initial punch with a more accurate second which again catches the former model in the face, Rieger takes Alex’s left arm with his left hand before whipping him across the ring the Freak then waits for his opponent to bounce against the opposite ropes and make his way back toward impending doom, Rieger catches Alex and drops him back first on to the canvas with a vicious incapacitating Spine Buster. Rieger decides once again to head to the top rope, he gazes down at his opponent and contemplates what he is about to do, he is 6’3” after all and does weigh 260 pounds, after much consideration The Best Wrestler In The World Period decides that he does want to assault the cruiserweight from the top rope, Rieger waits for Giltinane to get back to his feet before diving at him with a beautiful Cross Body Block, somehow Giltinane’s instincts takeover. The cruiserweight jumps into the air with his knees at his chest, he then wraps his arms around the legs and head of the Freak before bringing him down in what can only be described as a Rib Cracker. Giltinane and Rieger both collapse to the mat following the high impact move.

Donny: That’s why Steele has been scouting Alex! That’s why he’s trying to educate this kid, natural ability!

New PWA record.

The ref begins his ten count for both men. Freak's chest pumps up and down, that shot to the ribs was not in his playbook at all, and now he's worried about even more damage being caused to them. His breathing is quick, deep breaths would hurt his ribs, all he's trying to do is get all the air flowing back in his system. Alex is in bad shape though, he may have momentum on his side right now, but that won't undo all the damage that Freak's caused to his body so far in the match. He breaths deeply and slowly, working on getting as much energy back before Freak gets back up. The ref's count continues to climb up, and Freak begins to crawl over to the ropes. Alex still remains near motionless, the only thing moving is his chest up and down when he inhales. Freak has pulled himself to the ropes, and hooks his right arm on, the ref's count continues to climb higher, he's at six now, and Freak needs to hurry his ass back to his feet to keep this match and his hopes in the tourney alive. The ref keeps his count, Freak climbs back to his feet, and the moment the ref says nine Freak is back on his feet. He walks over to Alex, stands over him, shakes his head, grabs Alex's right arm, and lifts him up off the mat. Alex is back on his feet, Freak continues to hold onto the right arm, he pauses doing anything he's just thinking. Freak takes a step forward, and attempts to Irish whip Alex into the ropes, Alex manages to use his momentum and reverses it, sending Freak running. Freak builds up speed and bounces off the ropes, but he's got no idea what to do next, or what Alex's next move is. He doesn't have to wait to long to see, Alex jumps in the air, rotates his body sideways, and Dropkicks Freak down the the canvas. Freak falls in somewhat of a crumpled pile, and Alex is ready to keep the damage going. He immediately grabs hold of Freak's right arm, and lifts him back up to his feet. Freak and Alex face each other, They stare into each others eyes, trying to access the situation of the match. Alex is hurting all over, but has all the momentum he could need on his side, he's just got to keep hitting moves on Freak and keep the match at a speedy pace. Freak is just wobbling around like a drunk, the past couple of moves have put him in a state of uneasiness. Alex lifts his leg off the ground, and sends a boot to Freak's stomach. Freak doubles over, which makes it a perfect time for Alex to wrap his right arm around Freaks head, locking in a simple headlock. Before Freak can maneuver, think of a reversal, or another way out of it Alex drops backwards. Freak's head slams into the canvas with a crash, its a lot of force to take square on your head, and now he's going to had a bad headache for the rest of the match due to the DDT. Alex knows theres not point in stalling in this match anymore, if he wants to win, he's got to keep the speed up and keep Freak unaware. He picks Freak up once again, he stares at Freak for a brief second, and makes a critical error. During his few seconds of staring Freak pulls his head back, and in the shades of Zidane slams it forward, hitting Alex with a crushing headbutt. Alex staggers a little bit, he's out of it somewhat now, and all he can see when he stares in front of him is a blur. Freak takes two steps back, and then immediately starts to spin in 360s. Alex has no idea whats in front of him, then Freak's elbow smashes into his face with all the momentum of the spinning behind it. Alex starts to fall backwards, but he doesn't hit the canvas, instead he's just really dazed because of the Roaring Elbow. Alex stumbles around away from Freak, he's living a dream now and he's got no idea whats going to happen next. He could not even realize that he's still wrestling a match. Freak just stares at him and shakes his head. Alex runs back, and he bounces off the ropes. He's heading towards Freak, building up more and more speed with every second that he continues to run. Freak has no idea where the momentum came from, but he's ready for anything, he's just watching Alex's movements, and awaiting to see what he will try. Alex jumps in the air, leans back a little bit, spreads his legs, and tries to hook them on Freak's head. Freak watches all this happen, and he grabs a hold of Alex right before he gets the headsissors locked in, and he Powerbombs him straight to the canvas. Freak keeps hold of Alex's legs, and then flips over him, bridging the hold. The strain is great on both of them, Freak's got to keep the legs locked, and keep his balance at all times. Alex is dealing with 260 pounds of pressure on his body immediately after taking that Powerbomb.

Johnny: Freak's got the match back in his control. The ref is heading towards the two men, and he is beginning the count. I don't know if this will be enough to put Alex away, but Freak did manage to get the match back in his hands.

Donny: This match is all about control. You saw how quick they went back and forth towards the end of that exchange, neither man wants to give an inch to the other one. We'll just have to see if the bridge holds and if Freak picks up the duke, or will Alex mount a comeback of his own?
