THREE HOURS OF POWER - ROUND 2 - BRACKET C

-----------------
Devlin Jackson
-----------------
*Devlin Jackson enters*

-----------------
Kyle Rieger
-----------------
*The arena is silent, the fans eagerly awaiting the next match, interview, promo, or illegal display of hardcore animal pornography. The lights around the arena dim, and turn into a slightly green hue. The loud speakers turn on, a voice is heard over them. Its the gruff voice of Mickey Roark, as the character Marv from Sin City*

Marv: Hell? You don't know what hell is. None of you people do. Hell isn't getting beat up or cut up or hauled in front of some faggot jury. Hell is waking up every god damn morning and not knowing why you're even here. Why you're even breathing.

*The intro to Stupid MF begins, per usual, the crowd begins to lay on their boos, but there's no Kyle Rieger to be seen, just his music playing.*

I said,
Is it simple enough for you? Does everybody understand? Are you all still following me?
Is it simple enough for you? Does everybody understand? Are you all still, still
Is it simple enough for you? Does everybody understand? Are you all still following me?
Is it simple enough for you? Does everybody understand? Are you all still, still

Should I talk slower like you're a retard?
Should I talk slower like you're retarded?

*The Pojotron flashes, “WE ARE WAR”, and a highlight reel of sorts for Kyle is played. We see multiple incarnations over the years, from homeless bum, to wrestling purist, to cocky bastard. Opponents are shown being locked in The MisTreatMent, Broken with Back Destroyers, Locked in The Lock, Dropped with Good Times, Great Memories, and Crushed with Million Dollar Drops. We see WAR fighting and destroying foes in their path, and Kyle just smiling that same cocky grin. The music stops abruptly though and Clive Owens voice comes over the loud speakers*

Dwight: Its time to prove to your friends that you're worth a damn, sometimes that means dying, sometimes that means killing a whole lot of people.

*New music begins, Iggy Pop and The Stooges Seminal classic Search and Destroy, Kyle Rieger now emerges from the curtain, receiving a hail of boos. He's dressed tonight in a blue ring jacket, a headband with Freak Power written on it, his traditional green singlet which now contains dollar signs all over it, and of course his classic black Chuck Taylors. The Intercontinental title is wrapped around his waist, and he takes every moment possible to point at it and show it off. In his right hand he holds a Haliburton case, in his left is a cigarette. His face is clean shaven, his brown hair is spiked up in an almost demented fashion, and he has an almost crazed look in his eyes He struts down the aisle to the ring, the fans continue their boos, and the music picks up.*

I'm a street walking cheetah
with a hide full of napalm
I'm a runaway son of the nuclear A-bomb
I am a world's forgotten boy
The one who searches and destroys
Honey gotta help me please
Somebody gotta save my soul
Baby detonates for me

Announcer: From the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago Illinois. 6 foot 3 inches tall, and weighing in tonight at a beefy two-hundred-sixty pounds. He is a member of WAR, and your current PWA Intercontinental Champion, KYLE "THE FREAK" RIEGER

*Freak continues his strut to the ring, only pausing to throw out his smoke*

Look out honey, 'cause I'm using technology !
Ain't got time to make no apology
Soul radiation in the dead of night
Love in the middle of a fire fight
Honey gotta strike me blind
Somebody gotta save my soul
Baby penetrates my mind

*Freak pauses outside the ring, points his fingers as if they were guns, and then pretends to shoot each ring post. After shooting each one they erupt into a burst of red flames, and Freak rolls into the ring. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle, looks around at the fans, and raises his title in the air, leading to a chorus of boos.*

And I'm the world's forgotten boy
The one who's searchin', searchin' to destroy
And honey I'm the world's forgotten boy
The one who's searchin', searchin' to destroy
Forgotten boy, forgotten boy
Forgotten boy said
hey forgotten boy

*Freak opens up his Haliburton case, locks the title in it, and hands it to the ring attendant. He then removes his jacket and headband, folds them neatly, and gives them to the attendant as well He follows that up by doing his warm up stretches, neck rolls, and then bounces off the ropes repeatedly for no reason.*

The bell sounds and second round Three Hours of Power action is set to begin. Both men calmly walk from their corners to the center of the ring, to await further instruction. The ref goes over the rules while each man stares the other down sizing them up. On the surface they are pretty even, same height, close in weight, but there is always more underneath that. Freak has more of a finesse style, his strikes are timed and placed for maximum impact, submissions are used mainly to weaken only sometimes used to get a victory, and his he relies on all his gifts in the ring. Devlin is a brawler, thats the most simple way to put it, he likes to fight, but he also like to make people tap out, and either way he's a threat to be watched. Neither man moves as the ref checks for foreign objects, although Freak still plans to bring his lawsuit that if the item was made in America its perfectly legal to use to court, and the ref sounds for the bell. Devlin immediately charges towards Freak, hoping to catch him off guard, but Freak's seen it done too many times and simply sidesteps out of the way. Devlin is heading straight to the corner with Freak following closely behind him. He slams into it, possibly bruising some ribs, and immediately gets sandwiched by Freak's Avalanche. Though painful the lack of size difference makes it a lot less painful than it could've been. Devlin lays on the canvas, catching his breath, while Freak bounces off the ropes and comes towards him. Freak is a few steps away from him, he jumps in the air, gets into a seated position, and rotates his body back a little bit. He's ready to squash Devlin with a Senton, but Devlin responds in turn by rolling out of the way in time, and all Freak meets is canvas. Devlin takes a few more breaths, and gets back up to his feet. Freak still is clutching his back, but realizes he's not in too much pain and heads to his feet as well. Both men come face to face in the middle of the ring again, neither one wanting to make the first move, as last time it ended with each of them getting hurt. They just stare each other down, waiting to see what the other will do. Freak pulls his right hand back, he may fight dirty, but he doesn't care, he draws it quickly forward, and gives Devlin a Slap to the face. Devlin looks somewhat in shock, he shakes his head, draws it back , and slams it into Freak's face with a Headbutt. Freak gets rocked back for a second, it was a good blow and it sent him somewhat stumbling. Freak responds by drawing his own head back, and sending it slamming into Devlin's face with a Headbutt of his own. Devlin goes stumbling back a little bit, he knew Freak would be ready for a fight, but he didn't expect that Freak would be ready for a straight up brawl. Devlin draws his right arm back, balls his hand into a fist, and sends a Punch flying into Freak's face. Freak doesn't even move this time, the blow was heavy, it may have floored a lesser man, but Freak's taken harder shots than that, and instead he just shakes his head and gives a look that asks “Is that all you got?” Devlin draws his right arm back again, balls his hand into a fist once more, and sends another Punch into Freak's jaw. Freak's chin moves back slightly, he shakes and creaks his jaw, and spits up a little bit of blood. He stares straight into Devlin's eyes, peers into his soul, and says “I thought you could punch you pussy.” The crowd is shocked, that punch may have been able to floor Mike Tyson, but Freak just stood and took it. Devlin's really starting to get angry, he draws his right fist back once more, balls his hand into a fist yet again, and sends another Punch smashing into Freak's nose. Freak stands there and takes it yet again, blood now trickling out of his nose slightly, and he starts to smile that sick, bloody, sadistic smile. Devlin just stares in disbelief, he's got no idea how Freak's staying on his feet, why he isn't going down, or what is going to happen next. Freak's got an immediate answer for the last question however. He bends his right arm slightly, draws it back quickly, and immediately sends his elbow into Devlin's face. Freak follows up by bending his left arm slightly, drawing back, and slamming it into Devlin's face. He repeats this back and forth, right then left, until Devlin starts to look dazed and wobbly from the Series of Elbow Strikes. Freak smiles his same smile, there are a lot of ways that he could send Devlin down to the canvas, but he wants one that's somewhat degrading. Freak twirls his hands into a circle, points down to his crotch and says suck my dick, before raising his elbow up into the air, and slamming the point of it straight down onto Devlin's head. Devlin goes straight down to the canvas, he's truly floored, and everyone is now wondering what will come after the Bionic Elbow.

Johnny: And with that Devlin is down. This has been a complete slugfest so far, and up until those elbow strikes neither man had a clear advantage. Both men are fighting to stay alive in Three Hours of Power 2007, but after the blows each has taken just in the opening minutes, you have to wonder if there will be any of the winner that will make it to next week's semifinals. And you have to wonder if Kyle's glad that this tournament is going on right now, that's put off all scheduled defenses, such as Tom Tyco's rematch, for the Intercontinental championship.

Donny: I think there's nothing Kyle would like better than to show Tyco his place once again, and prove the Untouchables are anything but. Kyle and Tom could in fact meet up next week, and Tom will have to prove himself there before he proves he deserves a shot at the gold. Freak's just got one thing on his mind right now Devlin Jackson, and moving on in Three Hours of Power. He made it to the semifinals in 2003, and theres nothing more that he'd want than to be the winner this year.

Kyle walks over to the downed Devlin, who lays on his stomach on the canvas barely moving, he wants to capitalized on this moment, but with what. Freak wraps his right arm around Devlin's head, grabs hold of his right arm with his left hand, and locks on a simple headlock. Freak squeezes the hold as tight as he can, trying to work over the head as much as possible, as its been weakened by the series of elbows. Devlin is trying to fight his way out of it, he tries to work his fingers in between Freak's hoping to have them unlock, but with no luck. He then tries to draw his arms away from Freak and deliver elbows to Freak's stomach, but Freak tightens up his abs and barely feels the blows. Finally Devlin bends his knees and is going to attempt to pick Freak up, Freak senses what is coming, he starts to run forward, jumps in the air, and sends Devlin's head straight to the mat with a bulldog. Freak lets go of the headlock, stands up, dusts off his hands, and looks around to the crowd. The boos are relentless, there are few people in the PWA more hated than Kyle Rieger, and he relishes in all of it. Every single boo, everyone's hate, every second he's out in the ring is euphoric to him, and while many popular wrestlers may feed off the crowd's energy, Kyle Rieger is one of the few that can feed of their hatred. Kyle walks over to Devlin, grabs a hold of his right arm, and lifts him back up to his feet. Devlin is wobbling like a drunk, has dazed eyes like a stoner, and has the face of a prize fighter on a losing streak. The fans cheer for him, chants go up of “DEV-LIN, DEV-LIN, DEV-LIN, DEV-LIN,” as they want somebody, anybody, to stop Kyle Rieger. Freak puts his right arm between Devlin's legs, his left on his shoulder, bends his knees, and scoops Devlin up. Freak shows his strength, as well as a little bit of arrogance, holding Devlin on his shoulder with just one arm, before introducing his back to the canvas with a Bodyslam. Devlin doesn't move at all after, he may be too tired, or he may be just flat out out of it, and Freak is still smiling away. He runs towards the nearest set of ropes, bounces off of them, and heads towards Devlin. A few steps away he jumps in the air, bends his knees, and delivers a Knee Drop straight onto Devlin's head. Ray Stevens called it a bombs away, Devlin Jackson is just going to call it more pain, and Kyle Rieger is still smiling that bloody smile. He immediately grabs Devlin's arm, and lifts him back up to his feet, not even giving him time get some more breath back. Freak faces Devlin, shakes his head, waves his finger at him almost in an attempt to shame him, before lifting his right leg up, and giving him a Boot to the midsection, doubling Devlin over. Freak wraps his right arm around Devlin's head, and pauses for a moment to listen to the crowds boos and jeers, before dropping straight back sending Devlin's head to the canvas. The thud is sickening, the pain is throbbing, Devlin seems like he may be in no condition to continue, and all the while Freak is just smiling his sick twisted smile, happy with the outcome of the DDT. Freak has worked on the head the entire match, and it looks like he will continue with that game plan, after all if one is concussed, one cannot think properly, and if one cannot think properly, one will make bad choices. Freak grabs Devlin's arm once again, lifts him back up onto his feet, and gives him an Irish Whip into the corner. Devlin runs full speed towards the corner, bounces into it, and his right arm hooks the top rope leaving him hanging there. Freak calmly walks over to him, hooks his left arm as well, and walks away to the opposite corner of the ring. He pauses a few steps away from the corner, gives out the classic, albeit stolen, yell “FLYING ASSHOLE,” and runs up the second turnbuckle. He springs off of it, turns around, and starts to build momentum as he heads towards Devlin. He is but a few steps away when he jumps in the air, he rotates his body around in a one-hundred eighty degree rotation, and bends a little bit putting full emphasis on his back and hips. He gets good height, and after flying through the air for a few seconds his ass smashes into Devlin's face, dazing him even more, and then sending him down onto the canvas in a heap. The crowd just looks on stunned, Devlin doesn't even look like he can move right now, the fans are cheering, clapping, yelling, but it looks like it will do no good. He's been systematically taken apart, all the work on his head has been too much, and the Flying Asshole was the icing on the cake. Freak pulls him slightly away from the ropes, lays on top, hooks the leg, and covers before yelling...
