--- Alex Giltinane --- Alex Giltinane enters. --- Triple 6 --- The lights in the arena slowly dim to a black and an all too familiar guitar riff resonates from the speakers. The crowd members lead their seats, preparing to herald this latest entrant just as the iconic battle-cry fills the arena. THE TIME HAS COME, IT IS QUITE CLEAR! OUR ANTICHRIST IS ALMOST HERE! With those words spoken, the arena explodes into a fusion of Marilyn Manson’s Antichrist Superstar and the rabid cheers of the PWA fans. The black drapes of the entryway rustle a little before being thrown back all together. From behind them steps The Antichrist Superstar himself, Triple 6. His appearance is greeted with an elevation in cheers, to which he can’t help but smirk at. He begins his descent down the ramp, clad in his traditional attire: a black leather jacket, a vintage Forsworn t-shirt, and a pair of weathered blue jeans. The Heartstopper climbs the ring steps, entering the ring for the first time in quite awhile. He resists the urge to play to the crowd, instead retreating to a turnbuckle on the side of the ring farthest from the ramp, reclining against it as the referee goes through his pre-match ritual. Meanwhile, the ring announcer formally introduces him to the crowd, as if an introduction is needed. Announcer: Weighing in at two-hundred and eighty pounds, hailing from Chicago, Illinois… Trrrrrrrrrriple SIX! The Father of the Forsworn steps out from his sanctuary for a brief moment to acknowledge the crowd’s cheers, but he just as soon returns to it. It’s clear he’s more than ready to just get the match underway. |

For the second week in a row Alex Giltinane finds himself staring across the ring at one of the biggest names in PWA history, once again the young British rookie has a chance to cause a major upset, especially after coming so close last week against the World Champion P.Y. This week however Alex doesn’t find himself dwarfed by his opponent, for tonight’s foe with numbers as a name weighs only 58lbs more than the Glorificent One and stands 4 inches taller. This is a fight which Alex would possibly fancy his chances especially if Triple 6 underestimates him as P.Y almost did! Donny: Vegeta is trying to make a statement by using Steele’s minions, especially Alex! Johnny: That’s right, for the past two weeks now Alex Giltinane has faced unparalleled odds in the ring just because he disagrees with the owner. Donny: Alex could look on the bright side and see both matches as a learning experience! Johnny: Learning? He was cheated by the World Champion last week. This young man needs to start giving lessons rather than receiving them! As Johnny finishes his sentence the two gladiators begin to walk across the ring towards one another, with both of their minds fully on this match, neither one wanting to make a mistake as they know how costly it could prove to be. Once both men had navigated their way to the centre of the ring it was time to begin! With the crowd on their feet chanting the name of Triple 6, the legend and the rookie locked horns. |The first sequence began with a Roman Knuckle Lock, neither man backing down, well at least not to start with. Soon Triple 6’s power advantage come to light as he squeezed Alex’s hands, the Londoner fell to his knees and winced in pain. “The Corpse Maker” wasn’t through with the first exchange as he pulled Giltinane back to his feet and mercilessly squeezed as tightly as he possibly could attempting to break Alex’s fingers. “The Main Event” began to wriggle to try to get himself free but it was no use and he was soon back down to a knee as Triple 6 stands over him smugly, his hands still inter twined with those of his cruiserweight opponent. Suddenly Triple 6 decides to break the hold signalling his intent with a boot catching Giltinane on the face and knocking him to the mat. Confidence begins to radiate from the aura of Trips as he smirks while looking down at his opponent who is trying to get himself together by crawling away. Alex begins to feel he is safe as he sits himself in one of the four corners of the ring, the youngster takes a breath before attempting to stand up… He isn’t given the time he desires however and finds himself on the receiving end of another boot from a, this time charging “Antichrist Superstar”. Alex’ head just flops down as if he can’t hold it up any longer although the fight has merely begun! Triple 6 forces Alex back to a vertical base before pushing him back into the corner the Englishman hits hard into the turnbuckle but again is given no time to recuperate. Triple 6 leans back slightly before driving his right knee into the rib area of Giltinane who can not protect himself from the forceful attack. Not stopping at one the former two time world champion again delivers a violent knee into Alex’s ribs perhaps winding the Englishman. The tag title record holder moves away from his cornered adversary and merely watches as Alex slumps towards the mat, just before “The Enigmatic Phenom” falls all the way he grabs the top rope, and in doing so keeps himself on two feet. The larger wrestler admires Alex’ courage but not for long as he pushes the “Hajjhowe’s School Of Excellence” graduate back into the turnbuckle, this time the two hundred and eighty pound Chicago native delivers a stinging right hand to the area he had targeted earlier. This is shortly followed by a left and a second right as Triple 6 begins to unload on the lesser known superstar. Johnny: Do you think 666 wants a shot at the World Title? Is he trying to send a message? Donny: Vegeta probably promised him something “special” under his pillow tonight… Johnny: Do you want to get fired? As the focus goes back to the ring Triple 6’s violent onslaught has ceased and the “Father of the Forsworn” allows his ‘victim’ to slowly stagger out of the corner, you can tell by the glint in his eye that Trips has some evil intentions for the defenceless Giltinane. The winner of the first three Wrestlefest rumbles waited patiently for Alex to reach him before dropping him to the mat with a Back Body Drop, the crowd let out a slight ooo as they see the pain which is etched upon Alex’s face, the former model lies broken on the mat, looking about ready to be pinned. Pinning his opponent is not very high on the list of Triple 6, his agenda appears to be booked with punishment and his intentions to hurt Giltinane have been clear from the start. With all eyes on him, Triple 6 grabs the head of his Anglo adversary and drags him to his feet, with Alex at his mercy Trips locks on a front face lock and signals for Venym! With the crowd roaring for the move to be completed the future PWA hall of famer perhaps pauses for a split second too long as he gives his feisty young opponent something he has been craving for this entire match, time to breathe! In the split second that 666 pauses Alex manages to wriggle his way out of the face lock, and turns it in his favour. Triple 6 throws a punch to try to salvage the situation but Giltinane, with an adrenaline rush manages to grab the arm of Trips and locks in a hammerlock, the raucous crowd gasp as they can’t believe their eyes, Alex spins his opponent round to face him using the hammerlock for leverage before driving his muscular opponent to the mat with the Pepsi Habit! Johnny: Holy Fuck! The hammerlock Pedigree out of nowhere! Donny: … The “Main Event” falls to the mat landing on top of Triple 6. The man in black and white slides into position ready to make the count... |

1… 2… Triple 6’s shoulder thrusts off of the canvas with time to spare; early enough that the referee never even tries for the third count. It’s hardly surprising, least of all to Alex Giltinane, yet he’s still disappointed. While he’s confident in his abilities and has little doubt that he can, eventually, emerge victorious, he’d rather do so with as little effort as possible. Why bother going through the trouble of a clear, decisive victory when a quick one yields the same result? At the end of the day, it’s all about the big W. The more Ws Alex racks up, the more drugs he can score after shows. That’s what it’s all about. Giltinane staggers to his feet. He trots around the ring for a few moments, playing up to the crowd who regards him with abhorrence. By his swagger, you’d never guess this was a man who failed to get a pinfall just moments ago. He couldn’t be cockier if he had the World Championship draped over one shoulder. He stops strutting after spotting his adversary’s limbs begin to reanimate and stir, although he stops just long enough to deliver a stiff Boot to Triple 6’s lower back. That brings an end to the stirring. Then the festivities commence once more. Alex splays his arms before the crowd, who rain jeers down upon him in return. On and on the cycle goes: Triple 6 stirs, Alex strikes, Alex celebrates said strike, the crowd boos Alex. It’s kind of like the water cycle, only humanity ain’t getting’ shit from this. The cycle draws to a close when The Antichrist Superstar gets wise to the pattern. If you’ve ever played a videogame in the Hitman series, you know that by repeating any pattern in rapid succession over a concentrated amount of time, you are doomed to fiber wire-aided strangulation by a bald man who has a bar code tattooed onto the back of his forehead. Or at least, someone is going to make you pay for it. Playing the role of someone tonight will be The Heartstopper himself, Triple 6. He begins rising up on all fours, cuing Giltinane to saunter over and teach him a lesson. Before “The Main Event” can lash out with yet another boot, Triple 6 snares him by the ankle. Triple 6 musters up a surge of fortitude and then UNLEASHES THE MOTHERFUCKING LEG SWEEP! Now the cheers hail upon the ring. Go figure, they come at Alex’s demise, not at his behest. It’s funny how the concept of good and evil works like that. Two minutes, two momentum shifts. The ball is once again in the court of the two-time World Champion, something that doesn’t bode well for “Bombita”. Upon falling to the canvas, his first instinct is only natural: to climb back up to his feet. Triple 6 decides to add a level of difficulty to that, however. We all know that, unimpaired, Alex Giltinane can certainly climb back to his feet. But can he climb to his feet while being punched in the face repeatedly?! The Corpsemaker sets out to answer this question by crawling up alongside Alex’s body and unleashing a bombardment of Right Fists. The blows combust along Alex’s face with all the rapidity and ferocity of bombs in Baghdad. If Triple 6’s knuckles were a liquid, the correct description in this instance would be that he is sautéing Giltinane’s facial flesh with a sour blend of anguish and a dash of paprika. The wrestling ring was once a theater of classy conduct. Triple 6 has always preferred such an environment, despite the difficulty there is in maintaining a ethical contest in the modern era of wrestling. Despite this, he’s determined to make the effort. His first step is to call to a halt his volley of blows. His hands uncurl themselves and his fingers spread: now it’s time to wrestle. Giltinane has been elected the incumbent mayor of Comaville, and thus provides no resistance as he’s rolled over from his back onto his belly. He can feel Triple 6’s arms slide along his flesh, but there is nothing he can do to stop them. All he wants is to drift into sleep… Little does he know that in a few moments, sleep will be the furthest thing from his mind. Like serpents, the arms of the Corpsemaker slither around Alex’s neck, with a kiss just as deadly. The two hands join together just beneath Giltinane’s jaw and then push up against his chin. When Alex’s head is reared backwards and threatening internal decapitation, that is when the lethargy leaves him. It creates a hollow feeling that is quickly relieved by a wave of agony (not the preferred substitute, but hey). The Modified Crossface is not quite as potent as Triple 6’s trademark Crippler variety, but it’s more than enough to get his message across. Just because the name doesn’t possess the world “cripple” doesn’t mean it’s not capable of such a job. Just ask Mr. Giltinane for his opinion on the hold, particularly when applied by one as adept at the submission arts as The Iconoclast is. His breath grows shorter, and so he must inhale more rapidly. He’s threatening hyperventilation, but he doesn’t have much of a choice. It’s better to hyperventilate than to suffocate. The list of things more excruciating in the world than suffocation is a short one, although Alex might be inclined to believe that this Crossface is one item on that list. Any move he makes just provokes Triple 6 into making the hold even more snug than it already is. A snugger hold means a more painful hold. It’s a vicious, unforgiving cycle. Ask Alex, he knows all about cycles from earlier. It appears as if the style of the match has changed. Rather than a contest where momentum is traded back and forth rapidly, as was the case earlier on in the contest, it now appears to be growing one sided. Alex knows he has to answer this challenge quickly, because if he waits too long, he won’t be in a physical state capable of doing so. If he doesn’t escape in the next few moments, the match will be lost… He’s gone from having victory at his fingertips to having defeat shoved down his throat. He’s not quite sure he can handle that. OOC: Sorry it took so long, Alex. Someone thought it'd be cute to throw a powertrip. Good luck in the polls. |

The pain and pressure builds and builds. Alex wants to resist, but he cannot resist the inevitable. Finally it builds to too much, he slaps his hands on the mat multiple times, tapping out. Announcer:The Winner of the match, by submission. TRIPLE SIX Antichrist Superstar hits the loudspeakers in the arena as Triple Six heads out of the ring, giving high fives as he leaves. He had a good showing tonight, but will that remain when he fights Steele on Sunday. |
