Kamikaze Kid
---

The Arena suddenly cuts all of the lights, letting the fans know who's coming to the ring as "Light Grenades" by Incubus starts.

We're given a garden,
And gave back a parking lot
(We got about fifteen minutes to go...)
Before this audience starts
Throwing tomatoes, yeah!
(It's not the end, there is more show!
We got about fifteen minutes to go!)
Survived the plague
Floated the flood
Just peeked our heads above the mud
No one's immune
Deafening bells,
My God, will we survive ourselves!?

Coming to the ring; from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds, standing at six feet five inches tall. The man they call the Para Trooper from Hell! Death From Above! He is..... THE KAMIKAZE KID! BRANDON HAAAAWWWWWK!!!!

I'm not an alarmist
But someone should break the glass
(and pull that red T-lever down!)
To get their attention
start lobbing the Light Grenades
(that burst and blinf them with the truth,
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth!)

The Kid enters the arena and jerked his arms out to summon the exploding pyro, shutting the lights in the arena on. He was now wearing his new wrestling attire which consist of black BDU pants, a matching Boony cap, matching IBA vest, half finger gloves, and shiny black combat boots.

Survived the plague
Floated the flood
Just peeked our heads above the mud
No one's immune
Deafening bells,
My God, will we survive ourselves!?
Survived hte plague
Floated the flood
Just peeked our heads above the mud
Wip off your face, we've come this far
Come on! Remember who you are!

The Kid goes down the ramp while walking up to each fan bumping knuckles, and slapping hands. Kamikaze then looks at one fan holding a "You sucks Double K!" sign and snatches it from him before ripping it to shreds. He then throws the remains at the unlucky fan. Brandon soon takes off his boony cap and walks up to a young kid sitting at the stands. He puts the cap ontop of the kids head and gives him a thumbs up before climbing up the apron and jumping over the ropes. He then runs up to the corner and raises his hands to draw the crowd's attention. Earning him a mixed reaction with the majority still giving him props.

Survived the plague
Floated the flood
Just peeked our heads above the mud
Survived hte plague
Floated the flood
Just peeked our heads above the mud
Wip off your face, we've come this far
Come on! Remember who you are!
(Remember! Remember!)
Come on! Remember who you are!
(Remember! Remember!)
Come on! Remember who you are!!!

The Music fades as the Kid jumps back down onto the ring, he cracks his neck and then his knuckles awaiting for his match to begin.

Kalevala
---

Suddenly, the lights in the arena cut out and the fans were completely shrouded in Darkness. The crowd booed, as they anticipated the arrival of Kalevala. For a few seconds there is nothing, until the haunting harmonica of "The Wizard" by Black Sabbath starts up. The stage lights up immediately. The harmonica stops. The stage is once again shrouded in darkness. The harmonica starts again and again the stage lights up. Then back to silence and black. This happens a third time. On the fourth harmonica interlude, when the stage is lit, we see a cloaked figure on the stage, standing motionless. The stage cuts back to darkness for a split second as The Wizard finally kicks off.

The stage and ramp light up flashing with the music, as the arena remains dark. Kalevala makes his way down to the ring still shrouded in his cloak. He walks down to the ring relatively calmly.

Announcer: First making his way down to the ring, hailing from the outskirts of Kennin, weighing in at 238lbs, Ka-le...VA-LA!

The crowd booed his announcement. He is very deliberate in his movements. He looks from side to side as he walks down the ramp, his face still hidden. He gets close to the ring, speeds up and slides into it under the bottom rope. As he slowly gets to his feet, there is a guitar/drum interlude (:43). The song picks up again as the ring is lit up with flashing lights. Kalevala takes off his hood to reveal himself. Kalevala then removes his cloak. He climbs the turnbuckle and holds his arms out at his sides, absorbing the crowd's reaction.

Kalevala jumps off the turnbuckle and back into the center of the ring. He had completely removed the cloak he was wearing. He shook his shoulder length wet brown hair out of his eyes as he turned back towards the center of the ring. He was wearing ruby red tights with white stripes down the side, leading to white wrestling boots with black toes and heels. He had black elbow pads and wrist tape on. He was also wearing an old school wrestling top, ala Bret Hart or Kurt Angle, with shoulder straps. He then tightened the tape around his wrists.

Not wanting to waste anyone's precious time with mindless filler material consisting of strategy and technicality, the WAR torn Commonwealth Champion was ready to annihilate anyone who happened to stroll into his sights. Off the heels of an absolutely crippling defeat in the Three Hours of Power Tournament Finale, the Kennin Clansman was on the hunt for vengeance. This was rather unfortunate for Brandon Hawk, who was standing directly in the Northlander's path of destruction. As soon as the bell sounded, the Northlander took flight, digging his heels firmly into the canvas as he darted across the ring in the blink of an eye. Not expecting this from a battered and bruised Clansman, it was no surprise that the Kamikaze Kid was taken a little by surprise. These two had faced each other before in a tag team encounter, but never having recorded a match together before in singles competition was sure to alter their perceptions of each other. As it stood now however, The Paratrooper from Hell didn’t perceive anything but blinding pain, as Kalevala had lunged across the squared circle in the blink of an eye, and had delivered a stiff, sneaky dropkick to the left knee of Mr. Hawk. A yelp of pain followed, as he clutched his knee in pain and collapsed to the mat. Kalevala quickly regained his footing, and began to circle his opponent like a savage wolf, before reaching down for another attack. Even though Brandon was not MUCH taller or heavier than the Kennin Warrior, when a match can boil down to the different minutiae present in the game plan of your opponent, every little bit counted. Therefore it was natural for the Savvy Submissionist to use Mr. Hawk's height and weight advantage to his DISadvantage. Being a master of making the best out of a rotten situation, the Kennin Clansman was capable of shielding his injured shoulder, and fight through the agony of a partial separation that occurred last night at THOP, as he reached down and grabbed a hold of Mr. Hawk's left ankle. Yanking hard at the appendage, the Warrior was able to put a sufficient amount of torque on the Kid's knee, that it became very disagreeable to him to disobey Kalevala's lead. As such, the Dragon Slayer was able to tug his larger opponent to the center of the canvas, while connecting with a few stiff boots to the back of the knee for good measure, to make sure the upstart knew his role in the game they were playing. Finally in the center of the ring, the rabid Kalevala began hammering down on Mr. Hawk's large synovial joint with incredibly stiff elbow drops. This incited a mixed reaction, considering the intensity Kalevala was displaying. Finally after a few more elbow drops, the Nefarious Northlander took the first step in excellently executing his opponent, by securely fastening in a leg lock by pressing down his knee into the side of Mr. Hawk's joint, and then using that as a leverage point, grabbing the Kid's ankle and bending his left leg in a very awkward way. With his hands immediately going up to cradle his expression of agony, Double K banged his head against the canvas, trying to distract himself from the pain. It was clear through watching the scene unfold that the Canadian Crook Kalevala was through toying around. From this point on, every move would be going for the kill. This leg lock was no exception. In Kalevala's mind, the North Carolina native would have to tap, or else he was going to break his leg in half. Simple as that. This kept the referee on his toes, as this fallout match from THOP had a certain air about it, that anything could happen. The only thing going through Kamikaze Kid's mind, was the urgency of getting himself free from the Kennin Native's vice grip, as soon as possible. The thought of submitting was so far away as to be almost non-existent, however if he remained in his current position, giving up could quickly become the ONLY option. As such, Mr. Hawk had to become resourceful. He was in no man's land, with a professional submissionist latched on to his leg; it was time to make a move. Sitting up as best he could, fighting through the quick snaps of excruciating pain, Brandon threw his hand forward and grabbed a handful of the Kennin Clansman's long brown hair. Not knowing what else to do, Mr. Hawk tugged as hard as he could. Now under normal circumstances, this probably would have elicited almost no reaction from the stone-faced Northlander. However, this was no normal situation. Having been pulled, prodded, battered and beaten to a bloody pulp the night before, the Kennin Warrior had been battle hardened, and was especially sensitive to strikes at key locations on his body; his head being one of them. Having suffered through a few hair pulls the night before, he could not help but react in reflex to the tug from Kamikaze Kid, in an attempt to immediately alleviate the pain. Regardless of the emotional or physical impact of a simple hair pull on the Nefarious Northlander, the end result of Kalevala releasing the punishing leg lock is the only fact that mattered. Mr. Hawk was free, somewhat. He was not completely out of the blue, he had simply bought himself some time. You see, as soon as the ref had seen this hair pull, he immediately stepped in and somewhat scolded that type of conduct, letting him off easy, but warning the Paratrooper that future infractions would elicit graver consequences. Although it should be noted that all of this occurred in a fraction of a second, and the North Carolina Native did not even have time to process what was being said to him, before the Kennin Warrior was back to his feet, nipping at his heels in a big way. Having rolled a few feet away, allowing the dazed Kamikaze Kid to pick himself back up, the Northlander had slid behind the rising Mr. Hawk, and was poised to strike at the right moment. And strike he did. Not a moment after K-Squared had reached his feet, and right after the referee had finished passing out his empty threats, the Technical Trickster pounced, wrapping his arms firmly around the Trooper's waist, and yanking back as hard as he could, hitting a beautiful bridging German Suplex! After landing the move, Kalevala strained as much as he could to arch his back perfectly, waiting for the referee to make the count! However it seemed this move even caught the official off guard, as he seemed to hesitate for a few moments, seemingly attempting to register what had just transpired. At that point the ref dropped to the mat and got into position, however by that time it was too late. Thanks to a combination of Kalevala's injured shoulder preventing a tighter than usual grip, and Kamikaze's Kid's amazing strength (he wasn't that hurt besides his left knee, after all), resulted in the referee not being able to even get a one count in before the Trooper emphatically kicked out.

Johnny: Quite an impressive display from Kalevala!

Donny: Sure thing Johnny, its been nothing but him so far! Kamikaze Kid better pull up his socks, or he'll be heading home empty handed tonight!

After his powerful kick out, the challenger to the Commonwealth King's gold quickly rolled over his own shoulder and back into a crouching position, using the momentum created to bring himself all the way back up to his feet, in almost a scramble. If he was going to get back on track in this match, he would have to make a decision very quickly. Somewhat irked at the lack of a count, but not entirely bothered by it, the rising Kennin Warrior watched as his opponent rolled up to his feet. Staring at him right in the eye, he could see that the lights were on, but only the family dog was home. Charging into action, the Kennin Clansman once again connected with a stiff strike, this time it was a closed fist, which the referee didn't like very much. Following up that one strike, much to the delight of the Man in Stripes, the Kennin Warrior grabbed a hold of Mr. Hawk's wrist, as he pressed him into the ropes. Pulling back as hard as he could, Kalevala struggled in an attempt to create enough momentum to hurl the much larger man across the squared circle with a whip. It was now time for Brandon to use his natural assets to his advantage! Being able to counteract the force created by the Northlander fairly easily, it was Hawk who stood in his place after being pulled from the ropes, and instead of charging into the distant ropes, pulled the Kennin Clansman into a hard elbow shot! After basically eating the man's elbow, the Northlander's head snapped back and he quickly collapsed to the canvas. Feeling his eyes welling up as the body's natural reaction to such a strike, the Trickster blocked the pain from thought, and quickly rolled over and got back to his feet before any more strikes could be laid down upon him. However the elbow had left the Warrior in a bit of a daze, and as such his return to a vertical base was short lived, stumbling right into the waiting arms of the Six Foot Six monster Brandon Hawk! Lifting the Kennin Warrior up off the canvas, the Paratrooper from Hell turned the King of the Commonwealth upside down, dropping him hard with a classic body slam. Disoriented by the move, Kalevala could only look up in a haze, his head between Kamikaze's feet. He did not see much after Mr. Hawk took off and bounced into the ropes, except for the blinding brightness of the rafter lights. What the Kennin Native couldn't see, was that Brandon was taking a page out of Hulk Hogan's book, bouncing in the ropes as hard as he could, running back, and lifting up a huge leg and dropping it right across Kalevala's throat! Immediately after hitting this elementary manoeuvre, the Trooper went for the pin! This time the referee was able to drop down into position, and slam his open palm against the white mat one time, and one time only. Seeing as how Mr. Hawk's leg drop wasn't as "Atomic" as the Hulkster's, it did not pack nearly as much punch. Subsequently, the only reason the referee was able to secure a one count, was that unlike Kalevala's first pin attempt, Kamikaze's didn't come out of nowhere, so the slow-witted ref had ample time to react.

The Trickster luckily broke the pin as he lifted his shoulder. Though the leg drop from the kid was fierce, the Kennin Clansman had enough strength to break free. The Kid picks up his victim and whipped him to the ropes. As Kalevala bounced back to the Trooper’s view, Brandon executes a vicious tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He then uses the move to inflict pain into the Kennin as a submission move. The Canadian Superstar was in pain as his larger foe got him pinned on top of his knee. The Kid soon lets go of Kalevala and placed him on his stomach before running to the ropes. Using the momentum from the ropes, the Kid jumps up and lands his large knee into Kalevala’s back to inflict more pain. He gets up and drops back down with much force to drop an elbow to the Kennin’s back. Kamikaze then placed his two hands on the mat and lifted his body into a hand stand and dropped another knee to Kalevala’s back. As Brandon lifted his now aching opponent to his feet, he was countered as the trickster grabbed him around his waists for a belly-to-belly. Unfortunately for the Kennin Clansman, the Kid’s earlier assault was now showing its effect as he clutched his back in pain. Kamikaze got back to his feet and walked to his now suffering opponent and grinned as he took a step right on top of his back to add more pain.

Donny: What strategy, Johnny! The Kid is striking at Kalevala’s back. Who says that guy never used his head?

Johnny: Umm… you have, Donny.

Donny: Oh yeah…. Right.

The Trooper now had his opponent in a long bow backbreaker, wrenching backwards in order to make him submit. The ref was close by, making sure that when the superstar from the cold north would submit. KK smirked, knowing full well that the move will not only slow his opponent down, but it will weaken him and leave him at the mercy of a either a high impact move or a big submission move. Double K then lets go of the move, causing the Kennin to breath a sigh of momentary relief, but it had ended as the Trooper had him once again in a long bow backbreaker. The Kennin gritted his teeth in pain, not to show the Kid that the submission move was hurting him a great deal. Once again, Kamikaze lets go of the Trickster to give him breathing room. He then picks him up at a vertical base and whips him to the ropes. As he came back to the Kid, the Kennin cleverly made a bold move and made a chop block on the larger man’s weakened leg. The Kid rolled into the mat hard, clutching his pained knee as the Commonwealth champ got back to his feet. Deciding it was time to apply his own finisher, Kalevala lifted the Kid’s legs only to get grabbed and rolled over for a pin.

Kickout! Stunned at the fact that he was mere milliseconds from losing his belt, the Canadian super Star decided not to play around as he kicks the trooper into the gut before performing a snap suplex. The Kennin steps back several feet and ran up to the downed Kid to execute a fist drop in his knee. He then follows up by setting up the Kid into a half crab. The Ref ran to Kamikaze’s side to see if the Kid will submit.

Johnny: Kalevala is showing that if the Kid wants to take the belt from him, it would have to be from his cold dead hands.

Donny: Agreed! Right now Kalevala is trying to weaken the Kid’s Knee to set him up for the sharpshooter.

After awhile of feeling pressure from his leg and his back, the Kamikaze Kid just gritted his teeth as he lifts his right leg and plants it to the mat to help roll the both of them. The risky move made Kalevala break the hold, leaving him open for a barrage of punches. The Kid got up with the champ in his arms before he attempts an irish whip. Instead the Kennin counters as he whips Kamikaze to the other side of the ring. Taking a chapter from a pre-1984 Hulk Hogan, Brandon came back to Kalevala a vengeance with a flying Ax Bomber to drop the Canadian hard into the mat. The crowd was cheering wildly as the 6 feet 6 warrior showed his immense agility. The Kid once again rolls the Kennin on his belly before going up on the top turn buckle. The Fans were on their feet as he launches himself into the air to execute a flying knee drop into his downed victim’s back. Now Kalevala was really favoring his back in pain. As Brandon Hawk took advantage of the situation at an attempt to pin him, the technical trickster rolled him over for a pin.

2…

Donny: Whew!! Kickout at two! Man, that was freaking close!

Johnny: But no cigar for Kalevala.

As the Thunder Brothers were busy at their commentary, the two combatants were now at their feets exchanging blows. Suddenly Brandon locks his arms with the Kennin in a full nelson, he lifts him up high enough before slamming him hard into the mat. Using this as his cue, Brandon climbed back into the top turn buckle. He lifts his arms up in Triumph as the fans were cheering their approval. After his display of showing off, the Kid launches himself into the air to execute a swanton bomb, but the technical trickster made a smart move in moving out of the way. After making an impact with the mat, the Kid favored his back in pain. Fortunately for him, Kalevala missed his attempt at a knee drop as he rolled out of the way. The Kennin wasn’t down as he tried making an attempt to stomp on him, but each time the Kid rolled away comically. The Champ was soon grabbed by the throat by the Kid as he got back to his feet. He smiled at his victim wickedly before he slung him back and lifted him into the air to slam him one handedly into the mat. Brandon wasted no time to make the cover.

1…

2…

Another Kickout! By true grit and a abnormal ability to take a good beating, the commonwealth champ luckily put his foot on the rope. After the ref broke the pin, The trooper got back to his feet with the Kennin in toll before whipping him to the corner. Feeling a little cocky, Brandon walked back before making a mad dash at the Canadian to make a corner spear. Unfortunately, the Technical Trickster evade to move as the Kid’s should slamed into the poll. Taking this as a good opportunity and makes a school boy pin.

1…

2…

Johnny: No! The Kid breaks away at two!

Donny: Wow, that was so close, Johnny. For a second I thought we would all see how Kamikaze’s dreams become unfulfilled.

Kalevala then picks up the kid and tries for an irish whip, but his grip on the trickster was too great as he pulls him up to execute a bridging northern lights suplex. Before the ref could count to three, Kalevala broke the pin. Brandon gets to his feet, but the technical trickster makes a low blow. He gets up and whips the larger man to the ropes. Instead of bouncing back, Brandon locks his arms to the ropes. Angered, the Kennin runs at his opponent, but was counter with a backdrop out of the ropes. The Kennin warrior was hurting as he favored his pained back. He then stands up to take a breather, not caring the ref was counting him out. Not wanting to let this match end in such a fashion, Brandon Hawk ran to the other side of the ring and into the ropes. As he bounced back, the Kick ran full speed to the opposing ropes to slingshot himself out of the ring. The now Airborne troop used his momentum to hit a vicious flying spear to send the Kennin painfully into the steel guard rails. The fans in the Arena were going crazy as they make their collective chant, “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”

Johnny: OH MY GAWD!!! The Kid used a page from Mike Awesome’s book and drove Kennin into the guard rail!

Donny: I just hope they get up soon! I don’t want this match to end like this.

The Kid was the first to get up to his feet as he limps towards his fallen foe. He wisely rolled the man into the ring before climbing the ropes himself. As he entered the ring, Brandon made a pin, thinking the Kennin was now out of the match. The Ref slowly makes the count up to two but by some miracle, the technical trickster used his fading strength to break the pin.

Donny: No way!! I was sure I thought the Kid had it!

Johnny: Like I said earlier, it would take a fatal move to get Kalevala to let go of the belt.

Now angered at the Kennin’s resilience, Kamikaze picks up his opponent at the vertical base to set him up for a double underhook suplex. The Kennin soon counters by lifting his back to flip the Kid over for a pin.

1…

2…

With brute strength, the Kid breaks free from the pin. Using this as his momentum, Brandon took Kalevala to his feet and threw him to the corner to begin his assault. The former soldier started working away at his much smaller opponent by hitting knife edge chops across the chest as the fans yelled, “Whoooo!” with each impact. Suddenly, the champ blocked one of the strikes and gave him an explosive assault of his own, moving away from the corner. After stunning KK with a Manhattan drop, the technical trickster bounced from the ropes. As he gets back to the Kid, he tries to perform a hurricanrana. Unfortunately, Brandon countered the move with a standing powerbomb. The Kid then hunches over to get a better grip before lifting the trickster upward before he powerbombs him again. With his arms to on Kalevala, Brandon rolled over and lifted his Canadian foe to execute the Kamikaze Crunch.

Donny: Uh oh, looks like Brandon’s now trying to snap Kalevala in half with a modified Boston Crab!

The ref looks to his side to see the champion from the great white north scream painfully. The pain was now starting to really get to Kalevala; earlier his back was taking a serious beating. It would only take a matter of time before he had to make a decision if he’d quit or fight on…

The frenzied roar of the crowd was steadily increasing in magnitude with each passing moment. The Ft. Bragg native had his excruciatingly painful Boston Crab, known to his many fans as the Kamikaze Crunch, successfully synched in against the Nefarious Northlander. Now usually when this move is locked in, the audience believes that maybe there is a slight chance that the tangled up victim would submit, however there is ordinarily little weight to these speculations. Considering however the damage that Brandon Hawk had inflicted upon the lower back of the Kennin Warrior throughout the first half of this encounter, the crowd was extremely focused, hanging on to every second of action; every passing moment, waiting for the Commonwealth Champion to finally give in, and relinquish his title for the first time in history. They would love nothing more than to see the WAR member suffer a humiliating loss for a second straight week, and in order to monitor the progress of the submission hold, the referee bent down into position and posed the question to Kalevala, asking whether or not he wanted to give in. Clenching his fists, and slamming them down onto the canvas in a fit of rage, the desperately clinging to consciousness Kalevala screams emphatically at the referee. A resounding 'NO' echoes through the ears of the first few rows, and the ringing in the official's eardrums caused the man to pull away and cringe in agony. Appearing to feel the King of the Commonwealth's legs tense up, Mr. Hawk re-adjusted the hold, locking it in tighter. Once again the Northlander slammed his fists into the canvas, in sheer agony. It seemed like the Kennin Native was building up enough nerve to begin his epic crawl to the ropes, as he bit down hard on his lip, reaching out with one arm, and starting to drag himself with all the might he could muster. You see thanks to the beating he took at Three Hours of Power, Kalevala's other arm was not in any condition to start dragging his sorry hide, as well as the looming presence of a two-hundred and seventy pound attacker, across the ring. Therefore, it was no surprise that the stunned onlookers watched in amazement as the Warrior from Kennin began to inch closer and closer to salvation, dragging himself to safety, with a single arm! The fans could not help but appreciate the heart and determination put on display by the Canadian Clansman, even though they hated his guts. With his lip firmly between his teeth, a close-up shot of the Northlander revealed a slight trickle of blood coming out of his mouth, as he was now within one arms length of the ropes. Throughout all of this, Kamikaze Kid was attempting to keep the modified Boston Crab locked in as best he could. He would have regained his footing properly, and tugged Kalevala back into the center of the ring, but to do this he would have to first loosen his grip on the Warrior's legs, and he did not think it a good idea to give the Champion such an opportunity. As such, he simply cranked in the hold as hard as he could, in hopes of doing the most damage he could, before Kalevala forced the ref to break the hold. Finally, with one final, desperate reach, the Northlander secured his grip around the bottom wire. The fans were delighted that the excellent match would continue, and were a little surprised, because they had counted the Northlander out. Kalevala winced in agony as the ref peeled the Paratrooper from Hell off of him, and forced him to the center of the ring. The look in the Kennin Warrior's eyes was one of determination, as he cradled his lower back with one arm, and grabbed the middle rope with the other. Slowly but surely the Dragon Slayer pulled himself up to his knees, and then once again took a breather, as the referee continued to speak to Kamikaze Kid. Apparently the ref had been warning the Kid that if ever Kalevala were to submit, he'd better release him right away, or else face the consequences from the administration. The effects of which Kalevala knew too well; having been suspended a month earlier for the same thing. Regardless of the reasons, however, for the apparent break in the action, the Northlander was making the best out of it, as he took a deep breath, and reached for the top rope, able to finally regain his long lost footing. In addition, to his surprise, once firmly planted on his feet again, his back did not ache as much. This was very good news for the Clansman, as if the blinding, sharp pain of the Kamikaze Crunch had remained with him, he would have down for the count. Suddenly however, the immobile Kalevala would be punished for his lack of focus, as the returning Brandon Hawk, with a head full of steam, rushed towards his opponent, who had his back facing him. In a careless choice of inaction, the Champion had chosen to simply stay put and recover, and had not even bothered to turn around. This of course, would come back to bite him in the ass sooner than he thought, for the amped up challenger quickly wrapped his arms around the Northlander's waist, and pulled back as hard as he could, launching the Kennin Warrior backwards nearly all the way to the other ropes, with a huge release German suplex! Landing in a heap of flesh, high up on his shoulders, the Kennin Clansman folded over onto his neck, and then back over, flat onto his stomach; his legs tangled in the bottom rope. The crowd roared in approval, as the fired up Kamikaze Kid quickly climbed back to his feet and bounded up and down, playing to the audience, while letting out a superior grunt. By this time, the now completely befuddled Canadian had almost completely turned around, attempting to pull himself out of the ring, and down onto the cool, padded, concrete floor. Perhaps in an attempt to gain a breather, perhaps in an attempt to get the count-out and keep his title, who knows. The only thing that was important, was the fact that it was the last thing that Mr. Hawk was going to allow.

Being at this time, completely in control of the match, Kamikaze Kid was not going to let the Snake-like champion slither away from a confrontation. Of all the ways Mr. Hawk could win this match, a count-out was not the way he would like. As such, when he saw the top half of the champion almost completely out of the ring, he quickly stopped show-boating, and made a lunge towards the escaping Clansman. Almost succeeding in putting some distance between the two, the Commonwealth King was completely dejected, when he felt the vice like grip of North Carolina's own, around his right ankle. With one firm yank, all of the progress he had made in the last few minutes was washed away, as he re-entered the ring against his own will. However he was not completely in the ring, and not wanting to be thrown into No Man's Land once again, the Crafty Canadian grabbed a hold of the bottom rope, ending the Kid's pull prematurely. Still not letting go of the Warrior's ankle, Mr. Hawk held on tightly, not letting the tension down for a minute, as the Northlander reached up and grabbed the middle rope, pulling himself onto his left knee. With his opponent still firmly holding his right leg at a ninety degree angle to his body, Kalevala gritted his teeth together as he reached up for the top rope, hopping up onto his one free leg! Now this is where things were about to get interesting. Letting go of the top rope, Kalevala began to hop backwards on his left leg, being guided by the Trooper who was pulling on his right ankle. Now standing in the center of the ring, it appeared that the Kennin Clansman was completely at the mercy of the Hellish Paratrooper, being held in a sort of inverted enziguri position, with his back turned to the Ft. Bragg resident. Kamikaze Kid couldn't help but crack a smile as Kalevala bounced around on his left leg, trying to keep his balance. A few flashbulbs went off here and there, partly in anticipation of something great, and partly because of the fact that it was a ridiculous position. Although the smile that was currently painted across the face of Double K would be wiped clean very soon, as the ever resourceful Kennin Warrior illustrated his technical brilliance once again. Jumping up into the air, the Trickster made a small front flip, almost somersaulting in place. The force he created in doing this, caused the larger man holding his other leg, to stumble forward. At the same time that this happened, Kalevala wrapped his arms around the Kid's already injured leg, causing Mr. Hawk to fall flat on his face. In only a few moments of scrambling, and a slight re-adjustment of his arms and legs, the Kennin Warrior successfully curled himself around Brandon's left leg, locking in a beautiful Grapevine Ankle Lock! The audience exploded to their feet, flashbulbs ripping out, at the beautiful submission having come from out of the blue! Immediately Mr. Hawk began to wail and scream, as it was his injured left leg and knee, that the Northlander had been working on earlier in the match! And even though it was a brutal ankle lock that was locked in, Kalevala made damn-well sure he was bending his challenger's knee awkwardly at the same time, in order to maximize the efficiency of the submission! The referee, knowing of how close the match was to ending, immediately got into position to make the final call, if the Kamikaze Kid had had enough.

Donny: THIS COULD BE IT!

Johnny: I can't believe the match we're seeing here Donny! Who knew it was going to turn into a submission match!

Donny: A painfully technical display that's for sure! MAKE HIM TAP KALE-WHATSA!

Johnny: Hold on Kid! HOLD ON!

The audience continued to roar, as Kalevala wrenched in the hold even tighter. Feeling like his limb was about to be broken in countless places, the mentally and physically strong Kamikaze Kid was being put to the ultimate test! Would he survive it? Find out when we return from this commercial break!

After the commercial break, Kalavala was still locked into the Kid’s left leg like his life depended on it. With each waking minute, Brandon Hawk felt in complete agony as he wavered the choice of rather he could give in to the move or fight on to break the hold. He used his superior upper body strength and gripped the mat with both hands at the attempt to pull himself to the ropes. Slowly but surely the Paratrooper from Hell crawled to the ropes. The Kennin native was trying desperately trying to keep his iron hold on the 6 foot 6 monster as he pulls the larger man back. The former service member from the US Army then pulls himself upward with both hands. Just enough to plant his right foot into the mat. Using the momentum, the Kid rolled forward and flung the Canadian superstar off of him, causing the crowd to cheer wildly for their anti-hero! After several minutes of the Trickster’s wrenching of his limb, Brandon was on his side clutching his leg in pain. Using this as his advantage, the commonwealth champion now smelled the blood of his larger foe. Fortunately for the Kid, he wasn’t going to have it as he countered his advances with a drop toehold and locked his arms in place to execute the Crippler Crossface! The fans were going insane as the kid is now using a move made famous by Chris Benoit. The paratrooper pulled back wildly as the hold was brining unexplained pain into the champ.

Donny: Holy Shit! The Kid has reversed the Hold on Kalevala and gave him a submission hold of his own!

Johnny: Many times we know that the Kid uses mostly power tactics as well as speed, but every so often he proves us wrong about his style by pulling off moves like this. Who knew that he was such a wrestler?

Donny: Yes, but can he seal the deal with this move.

The pain was now increasingly getting to the Commonwealth King as the ref was now at his side to see if he’d submit to the painful hold. Luckily for him he was a few inches from a leg’s length of the ropes. Using his determination and his own “Just won’t Quit” attitude, the Kennin Clansman pulled himself just a few inches to the side, right as he place his leg onto the ropes. A few moments later, the ref now saw the leg and broke the hold. The Kid was angry, but was now feeling signs of respect for his victim as he knew that Kalevala was not willing to give up his belt. The Kid then felt more entitled to fight harder as he slowly got to his feet for the first time since Kalevala tried to make him submit. Growning painfully as he was now standing on his own power, the Kid limped to the clansman and grabbed his two legs. Kalevala subconsciously gabbed the ropes with his hands before Kamikaze lifted the Canadian upward and slammed him hard into the mat with a modified powerbomb. The Kid pulled his downed opponent backward and pinned him.

Before the count of three, the King of the Commonwealth jumped upward to break the pin. Taking some time off, Kamikaze then proceeded to stretch his weakened legged. After a few moments he can walk a little more swiftly as he picks his opponent up and whips him to the ropes. Using this as his cue, the Kamikaze Kid ran full speed towards the corner to execute a jumping splash into the Canadian superstar. When he was done, Kalevala was now stunned as the Kid left the ring and used the ropes to execute a springboard over the castle. The arena made a large pop as for the fat that despite the pain in his left leg, Brandon Hawk pulled off an amazing move to down his opponent. Wasting no time, the Kid walks up the prone Kennin, but was pulled in for a small package pin.

Johnny: Whew! The Kid kicks out at two!

Donny: This match is getting more interesting by the minute.

Double K then locked horns with Kalevala as his superior strength pushed him back into the corner. The Kid then climbs upward and gave the Kennin a combination of ten brutal punches to the dome of his head. The ref of course broke the melee as Brandon dropped back into the mat to argue with the ref. After being warned again of what the ref will do to him, Kamikaze then turned back to his opponent, only to kiss the rubber sole of Kalevala’s boot with a superkick. Using the stunned Kid as his advantage, the Canadian grabbed a hold of KK’s head to execute The Hard Road! . Now knowing the match was at his hands, the Champ made the cover.

Donny: There you have it, folks! The end of the Kid’s dreams of becoming a champion!

Johnny: I dunno… Kamikaze has amazed us so far. I don’t think he would let that move take him down.

Just as Johnny was stating the obvious, the Kid somehow used some remaining strength to push the Canadian superstar off of him at the count of two. Using his newfound adrenaline from the wild fans, KK jumps back up to his feet only to momentarily feel the pain of his left knee. Despite his returning pain, he shrugs it off as he walks up to Kalevala with rage. He then dares his opponent to hit him. The commonwealth King obliges by giving him a closed hand punch to the gut, but to no avail. He tries punching the Kid in the face, no effect. The Kennin then goes for a haymaker, but the Kid blocks it and drops the Canadian with a viciously hard Bionic Elbow to the dome. Kamikaze turns the Kennin over to his gut and propels himself from the ropes to land an elbow drop onto his back. The Kid gets back up and sharply drops his knee into the same spot, to inflict more pain to the champ. Kamikaze then picks up the Champ and hooks him up before lifting him as if he was going for a vertical suplex, but instead he sends the bottom half of the Kennin to the ropes to execute a Slingshot Kamikaze Buster to send the Canadian to la-la land. The Kid wasted no time to make the pin.

Donny: Kick out at two! What a frikkon match, Bro!

Johnny: Despite the way Kalevala wrestles, you gotta admit the fact that he’s tough as nails and would answer any challenges.

Before the thunder brothers knew it, a familiar Blonde Diva entering the sidelines from the crowds. She was dressed in a pair of ripped jeans and a black tank top. Leilana came ringside to watch her man try to take away the belt from the Commonwealth champion. She then pops a seat right in between the thunder brothers as she put on her headset.

Peaches: Is this thing on? Good! Hey, guys, long time no see.

Donny: Welcome back! I see that you’re here to see some action.

Peaches: Yeah, so far so good. I just hope Brandon knocks this jackass out so we could go home.

Johnny: Well he’s got a big fight on his hands.

Peaches: Come on, Baby! Drop that fool!

Back to the match, Kalevala whips the former airborne troop to the ropes; as Kamikaze came back he hits a rolling thunder lariat to send the Kennin flying. The Kid then bounced from the ropes for an attempt at a big splash, but the Camp moved out of the way successfully. He then tries to make another attempt at making KK tap with another ankle lock, but was thwarted as Kamikaze rolled over and sent a boot into his gut. The Kid jumps back up to grab Kalevala to execute a falling Gutwrench Powerbomb. Brandon Hawk then grabs both of the champ’s legs to land a headbutt to the groin. The Kid then grabs onto Kalevala’s brown hair as he walks to the corner. He then sets him between his legs and crossed his arms before throwing them straight out as he calls out a vicious battle cry of, “YOU CAN’T ESCAAAAAAPE!!!!” The paratrooper from hell lifted the champ into a Canadian backrack before running full speed across the ring at an attempt to execute his finisher, The Running Kamikaze Bomb. The move that beat Kalevala months before was soon countered, as the Canadian superstar rolled off of the kids shoulders. When the challenger turns toward his estranged opponent, he was grabbed around his waist before being flung via belly-to-belly suplex. His earlier declarations were wrong as one of his best moves was countered by the technical trickster. Feeling a little heated got back to his feet, only to catch the champ’s left foot. The Trickster tried to go for an enzigiri, but the Kid ducks and uses his ankle to tie him up for a texas cloverleaf, but that move was counter with a boot to the side. The fans were at their feet as the bid for the commonwealth championship was getting hotter by the minute. As Kamikaze recovered, Kalevala grabs a hold on him at an attempt to whip him to the ropes, but the Kid reverses it and sends the Canadian to that very destination. As the Kennin came back at his view, Double Kid grabs a hold to execute a thunderous Bossman sidewalk slam. He quickly makes the cover.

Johnny: No! A kickout at two!

Peaches: Damn it! That was so frikkon close! Come on, Brandon, finish this fool off!!

The power move itself took a toll on the Kennin’s back as he groaned in pain. The Kid himself was still feeling the soreness in his leg, but ignores it as he felt that he was on a mission to take the belt away from the Kennin’s hands through any means necessary. The challenger for the belt jumps back to his feet before walking up to the prone champion. He then picks up the Canadian to his feet and whips hard into the corner. He then picks him up and sets him on the top turn buckle as he climbs upward. The airborne troop then placed the Kennin around his shoulders in an Argentine Backbreaker position. The crowd waited anxiously for what lies next as the Kid turns around with the champ still firmly in place. With a sadistic smirk, the Kid drops from the ropes and landed on his ass as he hit The Shock Treatment while the Kennin bounce off and wiggled painfully on the mat. Kamikaze then decided that the mat was now over with as he crossed his arms and whipped them straight out.

Peaches: ALRIGHT! NOW SEND THAT JOKER OUT OF COMMISSION!

The Kid wasted no time as he skull drags his prone opponent towards the corner. He then positioned the Kennin between his legs before he lifts him in a crucifix position. As he tries to execute the Grenade Launcher, the champion used a split second to lock his legs around KK’s head to execute a loose Frankensteiner to drop the challenger back on his back. The crowds, including Leilana were now wide-eyed and slack-jawed as they witness Kalevala’s excellent countermove. He then got up and climbed the ropes, still favoring his severely bruised back. As he reaches for the top rope, the Kennin Clansman flew into the air to pull off The Seventh Star, dropping the leg onto his prone opponent. Now the match was at his hands as he makes the cover.

1…

2…

By some miracle, the Kid used all of his remaining strength to jump off before the ref counted to three. As the match wore on, both men were now on reserves as they fought through what appears to be the last leg of the match. Kalevala then got back to his feet and walked over to his prone opponent in search of executing the the Shadow Lock, but as he was going to grab the challenger’s hurt leg, Brandon Hawk uses his right boot to push the champ away. He quickly jumps back up and grabs a hold of Kalevala to execute an Implant DDT! Instead of going for the pin, Kamikaze still locking his arm around the champ, shifts his body while wrapping his legs around Kalevala as he pulls off a move from his previous military training, The Guillotine Choke!!

Johnny: Oh my gawd! The Kid’s got Kalevala in a Guilotine choke!

Donny: What the… Didn’t know he could pull off a MMA move!

Peaches: Duh! He used to be in the Army you dumbass! Of course he knows MMA moves.

Kalevala was now in a world of hurt as the Kid was firmly locked into him at another attempt to make him submit. The unorthodox MMA style submission hold was sending all sorts of pain around the Kennin’s neck. The ref came to his side to see if this will be the time that one of them will give in….

It is not often the case, that a match will reach such heights so quickly. The two battle hardened warriors within the squared circle were putting on quite a show, a veritable wrestling clinic, for everyone to enjoy. With twists and turns and ups and downs, each man participating had been both on the giving and receiving end of several vicious bumps; it was a surprise either man was even breathing, let alone standing. It was an even more impressive sight to see the two combatants still willing to lay it all on the line, considering the hell they've put each other through. However the stakes were high, and apparently both of them were willing to pay the price. As it currently stood, it was Kamikaze Kid who had regained his authority over the match proceedings, having the Commonwealth King Kalevala locked in a brutal guillotine choke! Running on pure instincts, at the instant that Mr. Hawk had not released him after the DDT, the Kennin Warrior had brought his arm up and placed it directly in front of this throat. Not having paid any attention to this small, seemingly insignificant detail, the thriving adrenaline junkie known as Brandon went ahead and locked in his deadly MMA manoeuvre regardless. Unable to prevent the grapevine, the Northlander was relegated to being held in position by the tree-trunk sized legs of his challenger. Therefore it was clear that the current champion may not hold his title for long, as he was at the absolute mercy of his attacker. How the mighty have fallen, or so KK would have you believe. What the Kid did not realize was that he was dealing with the Savvy Submissionist; who very much lives up to his moniker. It would seem that an expert in the art of making his opponent tap, would also have a few tricks up his sleeve; if ever he needed to escape one of the aforementioned remorseless holds. This must have been part of the reason why the Kennin Clansman seemed to remain quite calm as the Kid wrenched in the submission move tighter and tighter. The other reason for Kalevala's calm, cool, and collected demeanour, was due to the fact that the arm he had brought up between his throat and the Paratrooper's arm, had provided him with enough room to breathe. In no rush to do anything rash, the Clansman almost rested during the hold, catching his breath. It would be foolish to say the submission was not doing any damage, but the luxury of oxygen softened the blow substantially. In an attempt to orient himself, the Nefarious Northlander had his eyes closed, and was playing back the last few moments in his mind's eye, hoping to pinpoint the closest ring rope. At this point he could hear the referee ask him if he wanted to give up; to submit. Not being able to speak posed quick a problem for the Champion. A little aggravated at the ref for asking when such pressure was applied to his neck, and fearing that without a response the match would be ended prematurely, Kalevala clenched his free fist and slammed it hard against the mat in an act of defiance; sending a clear message to the ref, the crowd, and more importantly, to Kamikaze Kid. Finally rid of that burden, it was time for the Warrior to make his move. Having come to the conclusion that the closest point of salvation was to the north, Kalevala flexed his muscles as tightly as he could, to widen the gap between his neck and the Kid's arm. At the same instant, the Clansman began to strike at the back of Mr. Hawk's upper thighs with attempted knee strikes. What this did was create two things for his attacker to think about, while also providing the momentum to inch closer to the ropes. The thick layer of sweat that the Kid had built-up over the course of the match, also helped Kalevala's cause, as it lessened the friction across the canvas, letting the Kennin Native make the most out of his momentum stirring knee strikes. As the roar of the crowd was now deafening, it was apparent that this submission hold was turning out to be another false finish, as it would only be a few more minutes before the ref would be forced to break it up. Finally, taking one final deep breath, and letting out a muffled battle cry of his own, the Kennin Clansman forced once more against the struggling Kamikaze Kid, pushing him into the ropes, allowing the Northlander to grab a handful of wire! Once again, to the utter disbelief of everyone in attendance, another submission attempt was thwarted by sheer will power. With respect between the two men mounting with every passing second, Brandon Hawk broke the Guillotine Choke, and got back up to his feet, rolling Kalevala over onto his back as he did so. Taking a few steps back to the center of the ring, the Kid was breathing heavy, and glared back at the downed Commonwealth King, who was now sitting up, leaning on the second rope, with the ref in his face, asking him if he still wanted to continue the match. With an exasperated sigh, the Kennin Clansman waved away the official in disgust, and locked eyes with the Paratrooper from Hell. As opposed to charging once again at a vulnerable opponent, this time around the Ft. Bragg native chose to stay put. Comfortable with his position in the match, he simply stood his ground and watched the Technical Trickster get back up to his feet with the help of the ropes. The two exchanged an odd look of understanding and respect to each other. It appeared as though in the Kid's eyes, the Kennin Warrior had earned his opportunity to get back to his vertical base. And without a doubt, Kalevala knew that Mr. Hawk deserved to be standing in the ring with him. The audience applauded this beautiful display of sportsmanship as the Kennin Native took a few steps forward, towards his opponent, and away from the ropes. Standing there awaiting his arrival, Mr. Hawk's mouth opened up slightly into a grin, as he lifted up his hand high into the air, signalling a challenge to a test of strength! Staring high up above the Trooper's six-foot-six frame, all the way up to his open palm, the Kennin Warrior tilted his head to the side, staring out into the audience. After a round of applause, signalling the crowd encouraging Kalevala to accept the challenge, the Kennin Warrior slowly began to raise his arm! Not many thought he would actually accept the challenge, but perhaps the Clansman was returning the act of honour to his noble foe. Suddenly however all these propositions were thrown to the wayside, as the Trickster proceeded to jam his left thumb stiffly into Kamikaze Kid's right eye! Grabbing his eye in agony, stumbling back into the ropes, the Kid gasped. A grin broke out across the Northlander's face, as he looked out to the crowd and shrugged innocently, drawing a mixture of cheers, jeers, and a few chuckles.

Following his stumbling opponent into the ropes the Northlander wasted no time, grabbing the Kid's wrist, and pushing him into the wires, stretching them to their limit. Pulling back hard, and launching the larger man at full speed across the ring, Kalevala quickly trailed behind. Therefore as soon as Double K bounced off of the opposite ropes, the Northlander was there to greet him with an exceptionally stiff kitchen sink! Flipping over the Kennin Native's knee, Kamikaze Kid landed hard on his back, grabbing his gut in pain. Relatively positioned in the center of the ring, the Kid had nowhere to go. However, knowing all to well how quickly things could turn around, and how resilient his enemy was, the Northlander was not about to rush into things. Instead, he stalked his prey like a hungry wolf, circling him a few times. So far in the match, the Technical Wonder had tried almost every trick in his book; continually coming up short. If he was ever going to end this match the way he wanted to, he was going to have to do it right. Seeing as how the air had been driven out of the Kid's lungs, Kalevala picked his moment, and pounced. Grabbing the North Carolina native's injured left leg, Kalevala was setting him up for one final hold. Knowing this, and almost snapping completely out of his daze, the Kid began to kick and swipe at his standing attacker. However having been overpowered by the Kid's leg strength all match, the ever evolving Northlander had become accustomed to dealing with it. To counter the flailing appendage, Kalevala stepped to the side, and yanked Mr. Hawk's injured leg to the side, almost tearing his knee joint in half. Letting out a shriek of pain, the Kid was unable to muster up another kick, to shrug the vicious Kennin Clansman off. Kalevala then reached down and grabbed his other leg. Stepping over Brandon's injured leg, wrapping both his opponent’s legs around his own, before turning to the side and kneeling down, Kalevala had expertly locked in the Shadowlock! Kamikaze was in no man's land! The crowd jumped to their feet as the official moved into position! This could be it!

The damage done to the Kid's legs through the match is almost too much to bear. With the Shadowlock synched in, and with nowhere to go, Kamikaze Kid is forced to submit.

DING DING DING!

Announcer: Winner of this bout and STILL PWA Commonwealth Champion, KALEVALA!!!

"The Wizard" by Black Sabbath starts up again, a situation at the end of all Kalevala's matches that have become all to familiar to him. His winning ways continues as the referee raises his arm and hands him his belt.

Johnny: Great effort by both men, by after Three Hours of Power, this is a nice way for Kalevala to get back his confidence.

Donny: He might have lost to Piccie in the finals, but truth be told, Kalevala is a future World Champion and his confidence should be high no matter what.
