Black Dragon
---

Black Dragon enters.

---
Triple 6
---

The lights in the arena slowly dim to a black and an all too familiar guitar riff resonates from the speakers. The crowd members lead their seats, preparing to herald this latest entrant just as the iconic battle-cry fills the arena.

THE TIME HAS COME, IT IS QUITE CLEAR!
OUR ANTICHRIST IS ALMOST HERE!

With those words spoken, the arena explodes into a fusion of Marilyn Manson’s Antichrist Superstar and the rabid cheers of the PWA fans. The black drapes of the entryway rustle a little before being thrown back all together. From behind them steps The Antichrist Superstar himself, Triple 6. His appearance is greeted with an elevation in cheers, to which he can’t help but smirk at. He begins his descent down the ramp, clad in his traditional attire: a black leather jacket, a vintage Forsworn t-shirt, and a pair of weathered blue jeans. The Heartstopper climbs the ring steps, entering the ring for the first time in quite awhile. He resists the urge to play to the crowd, instead retreating to a turnbuckle on the side of the ring farthest from the ramp, reclining against it as the referee goes through his pre-match ritual. Meanwhile, the ring announcer formally introduces him to the crowd, as if an introduction is needed.

Announcer: Weighing in at two-hundred and eighty pounds, hailing from Chicago, Illinois… Trrrrrrrrrriple SIX!

The former Father of the Forsworn steps out from his sanctuary for a brief moment to acknowledge the crowd’s cheers, but he just as soon returns to it. It’s clear he’s more than ready to just get the match underway.

It was given that both of the competitors who were standing in the ring hated each other. It was unknown why but it was clear that hatred was in between both men tonight. The two had met twice before and the score was even. Black Dragon was able to pull off a upset when he was considered a Rookie two years ago to earn a shot at Triple 6’s World Title. The next match was clearly controlled by the Heartstopper however. The following match would finally settle that score and with both men more experienced in the ring the contest would be quite even. Both wrestlers paced back and forth near the opposite sides of the arena. The senior official understood the tense hatred between the two men and brought them a bit closer to explain his expectations for the match, wanting both of them to strictly follow his orders. Triple 6 and Black Dragon did not look each other and instead they stared down into the canvas. The referee finished his briefing and sent both men back towards their respective sides before calling for the bell to begin perhaps the most brutal and technical match of the night.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

There were two different plans being developed in the arena. It was obvious that Triple 6 wanted to put Black Dragon through technical hell. Black Dragon knew he had the size advantage and had a similar plan. However he knew that he could not beat Triple 6 when it came to the technical side of wrestling but he had shown before that he was able to out ‘muscle” him quite easily. The corpsemaker stepped forward just a bit, hoping to draw the bigger wrestler into his domain. Black Dragon uncharacteristically stepped forward, entering the trap set up by his crafty opponent. Despite both men being closer to each other, they were still reluctant to make the first move. The much more battle tested Antichrist Superstar finally did, masterfully crafting a fake hook, therefore drawing an attempted counter from Black Dragon’s long right arm. Triple 6 quickly grappled Black Dragon’s arm and dropped behind it, forcing Black Dragon onto the canvas, his hands and knees preventing him from falling completely on his stomach. His somewhat vicious competitor smiled as continued to forcefully pull the arm upward into the air. Black Dragon attempted to use his body strength to break free or loosen up the hold, but Triple 6 calculated his opponent perfectly, dropping down shoulder first and thus using his body weight to smash the upper arm area into the canvas. A loud, sickening thud was heard throughout the lower half of the building. One could have possibly guessed that Black Dragon’s arm could have been dislocated or even broken but somehow all seemed fine. The impact of the maneuver caused Black Dragon to drop onto his stomach and Triple 6 took advantage of the situation and moved his legs forward at an angle. Black Dragon knew what was coming and struggled again to break free but his opponent locked his hands around his chin and pulled his head backwards. Black Dragon then felt his arm being locked between the legs of his bitter enemy. The Heartstopper lived up to his name and immediately intensified the Crippler Crossface which pulled Black Dragon’s head further into an unorthodox limit. Black Dragon was in enough pain to let out a sickening gargle mixed with a yelp of pain. The referee knew that if this hold was locked on for any longer Black Dragon could possibly be seriously injured. The referee quickly yelled at the veteran with a stern voice. Triple 6 clearly did not want to end the match in a disqualification and if such was needed, not this early. He broke his hold; it was a rare sight for such a technical wrestler to grant his opponent mercy. Triple 6 however simply continued his assault in another fashion. With his opponent still reeling from the move, the two time World Champion launched a vicious storm which came down from his right boot. The bottom of it smacked the rear of Black Dragon’s exposed head repeatedly several times. Again the senior official stopped Triple 6 from possibly ending Black Dragon’s career for several weeks, if not months. The stomping that was used was clearly directed to inflict massive pain, much more then what a usual foot stomp would do. The referee turned his head around for a brief second, which would be a mistake as Triple 6 jammed the same right foot forward. The foot speared right into the jaw of Black Dragon, who still lying flat on the canvas. Another sickening smack was heard and the referee turned around, not seeing the cheap and perhaps the match ending illegal move. With his opponent crippled so early in the match, Triple 6’s goal was achieved. The veteran paced around the ring and smiled, waiting for his opponent, who was acting quite “pathetic” so early in the match. The seven footer slowly made his upwards, trying to stand for the first time since the beginning of the match.

Johnny: Triple 6 has absolutely dominated Black Dragon so far. I’m sorry, but this is not even close right now.

Donny: And you know what? I love it!

Barely able to stand up and wobbling as if his vision was blurred, Black Dragon slowly turned around, trying to prepare for anything that could come his way but he failed to so. Triple 6 moved forward towards his much weaker opponent, jumping into the air a bit for altitude as he slammed his left arm forward into the neck of Black Dragon for a Clothesline. The move sent Black Dragon onto his back again. The embarrassment that Black Dragon was suffering at the moment was becoming more and more apparent. Triple 6 smiled again, his laugh flowing with his dominating pace of the match. Triple 6 swung around to the front of his opponent’s head and dropped down onto his knees. The former World Champion continued his assault on the neck of his junior. His arms quickly wrapped around it like a python getting ready to kill its prey. If the mask of Black Dragon was taken off, his eyes would reveal that he was clearly in no shape to change the tide of the match at the moment. Triple 6 effortlessly held his grip and started cut the flow of blood to the head of his taller, yet seemingly dead competitor. The crowd was mixed throughout the match as there were obviously as many Triple 6 fans as they were Black Dragon fans in the vicinity of his hometown, Chicago. Triple 6 pulled backwards on the almost limp Black Dragon, tightening his grip in the process. Black Dragon finally stopped his struggle to break free again from a firmly locked submission hold. His hands dropped to the canvas, signaling that he was unconscious. Triple 6 smiled and issued an audible laugh from his mouth. Triple 6 stood up once again, soaking in the freedom that he had his foe. Black Dragon’s upper torso slowly fell backwards back onto the canvas, obviously not being able to regain conscious so quickly. Triple 6 did not let up, and deviously he continued his unforgiving assault. Circling around for a brief moment, he finally dropped down to the canvas again and slowly turned over the seemingly lifeless body. The corpsemaker nickname was now much more fitting for the moment. With Black Dragon’s body fully turned around, Triple 6 got into position once again for his match ending submission hold the aimed for the head. Giving a hard slap to send some life into his embarrassed opponent, he locked on the Crippler Crossaface once again, and Black Dragon came back to life, but at the wrong time. The pain was now throughout his entire body and was beginning to be tempted into tapping out, ending the match.

Johnny: Triple 6 has single handedly killed Black Dragon’s morale and momentum that he carried into this match.

Donny: I can sense the end now!

Black Dragon has been here before. He’s been in this very same predicament, prisoner to the very same man, and experiencing the very same emotions. The urge to submit is nearly overwhelming; anything to end the insistent pain that has consumed his head and neck. The behemoth’s hand hovers over the mat ominously, poised for defeat. His desire to bring his agony to an end greatly conflicts with his pride. Unfortunately for Dragon and whatever following that he may possess in Chicago, pain can be incredibly persuasive. To think, a man who stands at six feet and six inches could cripple a man eight inches and nearly a hundred pounds heavier than him with his bare hands…

Black Dragon balls up his fist and draws it back to his side. He’s been here before. But this time, things are doing to end differently. He won’t allow Triple 6 to humiliate him, to force him into submission. Not again. He’s been here before; he knows the bitter aftermath that will await him if he concedes this match-up to The Heartstopper. It will eat away at his psyche. It will destroy him from the inside. By tapping out, he’d essentially be poisoning himself and his career. He resigns to invest all of his resources to discovering another way out of his constraints. The most obvious place to look? The ring’s edge.

Black Dragon is a starved prisoner. The ring ropes are an overflowing smorgasbord. Ravenous for liberty, a fire ignites in his eyes. His dominant trait in the ring has always been his brute strength, thus it makes the most sense to utilize that strength in his run for liberation. He claws at the canvas with his free hand as well as kicks at the mat with his legs. He even squirms from side to side. Anything to inch his way along the canvas towards his salvation. Triple 6 bares his teeth as he tries to restrain his captive, but it’s a losing battle. Triple 6’s current position does not give him the proper leverage to hold his enemy back, and thus he comes off as a novice ranch hand trying to bring an unwieldy bronco under control; not a pretty picture for Triple 6 and his supporters. Regardless, he continues to persevere. Though his efforts are futile, his resolve is cast of iron. All of this effort ultimately leads simply to disappointment that culminates in Black Dragon slinging his free arm over the bottom rope.

The Antichrist Superstar is incredibly frustrated. In a matter of seconds, his adversary has gone from the precipice of crushing defeat to essentially crawling out of hell. And he only had one arm to do it with. This frustration ultimately leads to Triple 6’s violation of his sport’s code of ethics; he continues to keep his submission hold locked in even after the rope break has been declared. Only when threatened with imminent disqualification does he relinquish his trademark Crossface. He slams his fist in the canvas to ventilate some of his emotions before rolling up to his feet and unleashing the rest upon the referee. The referee is bewildered; he had only been doing his job. Triple 6 knows that, but for whatever reason has decided that job was done incredibly poorly. He makes sure the referee is aware of his feelings by barraging him with derogatory remarks, curses, and flamboyant gestures. The former World Champion’s tirade goes on for quite awhile until he is finally silenced by the hand of Black Dragon.

The Forearm Shot to the back of Triple 6’s head floors him instantly. He had not expected his enemy to recuperate so swiftly. Unfortunately, all of his yelling lead to his downfall, the brouhaha lasting long enough for the Tag Champ to recoup his bearings and rediscover his vigor. The referee is actually relieved; he had been unsure how to handle the situation at hand. It’s ironic how peace is so often discovered only through violence. Where the referee finds solace, however, the fans find wrath. They regard the blow as a cheap shot to their hometown hero and unleash a torrent of boos to let him know it. This bewilders Black Dragon; he’s used to being heralded, not reviled.

Johnny: Well, the fans certainly aren’t pleased with Black Dragon’s conduct… Can’t say I’m surprised, of course. A man could shoot Derek Jeter dead in New York and catch less grief for it there than a man who ambushes Triple 6 in his hometown.

Donny: I swear, we have the most hypocritical fans in the world. Way to be objective, you ingrates.

Johnny: Isn’t that the purpose of fans?

While Johnny and Donny continue to babble about the role of the spectator in professional wrestling, Black Dragon is plotting his next move. For now, he has shoved the crowd’s loathing out of his mind; his cerebral activity is concerned only with how to achieve victory at the present time. He can win the crowd back after the win. Maybe. Probably not, though. Regardless, he’d rather be an abhorred victor than a loved loser. He dips down to the canvas and snares hold of Triple 6’s hand, using it as a lever to pull The Corpsemaker to a vertical base. From there, the situation doesn’t improve for Chicago’s native son. Black Dragon explodes with a volley of Haymaker Punches that all strike Triple 6 with the force of a Howitzer artillery battery. Plumes of anguish blossom within his cranium and he’s pretty sure his brain is swelling. That’s the only thing he really can be sure of; the overwhelming pain has greatly handicapped his mental functions. He’s not even sure where he is anymore. Another two sickly punches land and now he can’t even feel the pain. He can’t feel… anything.

Black Dragon feels powerful. Peppering his enemy with concussive knucklebombs? It’s downright intoxicating. It’s difficult to describe the ecstasy he derives from disfiguring his enemies, and this enemy in particular. It’s why he chose this profession in the first place. Despite the euphoria extracted from his bout of fisticuffs, Black Dragon decides to mix it up a bit; after all, punches get very monotonous very quickly. Instead of Black Dragon’s hands finding Triple 6’s head with their knuckles, they now find his neck. Dragon’s fingers tighten around this vital appendage like miniature vices. With this choke in place, he elevates The Father of the Forsworn into the air and holds him there. The Two-Handed Chokelift is greeted similarly to Black Dragon’s forearm shot. Many fans wonder when choking became ethical, let alone legal. Regardless, the referee makes no move to act. He allows Triple 6 to hang there, gasping for breath. The referee just hopes the man isn’t strangled on his watch.

Black dragon smiles sickly at his victim. Eventually, this smile builds into a low-pitched cackle, his chest heaving heartily. Triple 6’s face contorts in disgust for his nemesis, which causes Black Dragon to only laugh harder. The laughing stops when The Iconoclast spews saliva from his mouth. The glob of bodily fluid catches Black Dragon just below his left eye. A smile has never faded so quickly. Channeling unadulterated rage, Black Dragon impales Triple 6 into the canvas with a crippling Chokebomb, falling along himself into a sit-out position. He holds this position, pressing his enemy’s shoulders to the canvas. Let this be it… The referee scurries over to make the count.

1…
2…
Kickout!

Black Dragon is enraged. He wipes away the saliva that still lingers upon his face and stares holes into his enemy. Triple 6’s own eyes are closed. His chest heaves up and down as he tries to replenish his body’s supply of oxygen. He needs to do so if he ever hopes to make a comeback in this match-up. While he tries to rejuvenate himself, Black Dragon’s mind is pouring over plans to prevent that from happening. It’s a war of attrition.

OOC: Sorry this is late. Good luck.

The match was even again. It had not been even since the start of the match and the large 7’2 wrestler wanted to take advantage of this. Triple 6 slowly makes his way up back onto his feet. The monstrous Black Dragon makes his way around to the rear of his opponent, hoping to lock in capable match ending Sleeperhold. His opponent however is more then aware of the silhouette behind him and once Black Dragon grappled him with large and dangerous arms, the Heartstopper uses his well conserved strength to suddenly shift his weight backwards. The Force was more then enough to push Triple 6’s giant opponent into the turnbuckle behind him. A loud clatter vibrated through the canvas as the hard ring supporter pierced through Black Dragon’s spine. The Tag Team Champion lets go of his rather weak hold and Triple 6 walks forward. Free. Black Dragon could not catch his breath immediately and was feeling the pain grow in his back. Triple Six turned around and smiled at his foe. The much larger Black Dragon held himself up, trying to stop himself from slumping down. If anything, Fatigue could possibly endanger his chances of winning.

Triple 6 awaited his enemy, knowing that Black Dragon could easily go forward and renew his offensive. The usually highly aware mind of the giant was not functioning as it should have been in the match and thus the Ring Giant stepped forward. The crowd knew what was next. Triple Six quickly launched his left leg into the air. Black Dragon did not see the maneuver and soon felt a penetrating boot into his groin. Instinctively the Giant knelt before his opponent, a foolish thing to do. Triple 6 quickly wrapped his left arm around the vulnerable neck of Black Dragon. The once widely feared Venym sent the tired warrior’s head straight into the Canvas. Triple 6 executed the move perfectly as he did so often. The loud thud that shook the canva was symbolic to the now unconscious wrestler. The crowd, largely for the former World Champion now cheered. Black Dragon’s lifeless body covered part of the canvas and was completely flat. Triple 6 smiled once again and sunk down. The referee dropped down and began to count the possible pin to end the match.

Donny: Yes!

Johnny: No!
