Adam Senton

The arena is as quiet as its ever going to be as the words "the future is now" in huge bold letters show up on the tron. The crowd boos as one of Metallica more famous songs, Enter Sandman begins play around the arena. As the final word of the verse rings in the ears of the PWA fans a loud boom is sent through the arena and out walks Adam senton wearing a red mask and a pair of green pants saying "PWA" down the sides also a random blue shirt. The popular song continues with the chorus. Then as Senton slides into the ring still being booed by the PWA faithfull he gets to his feet and pounds his chest. Then he points to the sky as he climbs the turnbuckle. He takes off his shirt and tosses it into the crowd as a few fans fight for it. Then the ring announcer finally chimes in.

Ring Announcer:Making his way to the ring... weighing in at 167lbs... from Moncton New Brunswick Canada.... Adam Senton!!!!

The crowd boos as Senton grows a coqy smile and settles in his corner.

Tommy Dragon
---

The silence of the arena is broken by a distorted, industrial beat while UNKLE begins to fill the sound system. The grim song echoes it's opening lines as the Stunning Submissionist prepares to enter.

God knows you're lonely souls…
God knows you're lonely souls…
God knows you're lonely souls…

The black curtain is shifted aside, revealing the technically skilled warrior with a look of determination on his face. Tommy Dragon appears in all black attire, seemingly painting all of his usual attire in the dim color before walking out for the contest. Along with the dark wrestling gear, he sports his old leather ring jacket with the hood pulled over to hide his own dark hair. He pulls at his goatee a bit, before throwing the hood back and raising his arms to his side, allowing a rain of golden pyrotechnics to fall on his exposed upper body. This gets a decent reaction from the crowd, his remaining loyal fans cheer loud enough so that the sound mixes with that of "Lonely Soul" by UNKLE.

I believe - there's a time - and a place,
To let your mind drift and get out of this place.
I believe - there's a day - and a place,
That we will go to and I know you wanna share.

God knows you're lonely souls.
God knows you're lonely souls.
God knows you're lonely souls.

The camera gets a shot of the backside of Tommy Dragon’s jacket, revealing an iron cross between the claws of the German coat of arms. This was a rather unorthodox symbol for the technician, but no one seems to mind. He heads closer to the ring, soon signaling to the ring announcer to give him his introduction.

Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from New York City, New York and weighing in at two hundred and fifty one pounds; he is…“THE HOTSHOT” TOMMY DRAGON!!!

I'm gonna die in a place that don't know my name,
I'm gonna die in a space that don't hold my fame.
But I'm gonna die in a place that don't know my name,
And I'm gonna cry in a space that don't hold my fame.

God knows you're lonely souls.
God knows you're lonely souls.
God knows you're lonely souls.

Tommy Dragon ascends the steel steps, looking out towards the fans packed inside the arena for tonight’s event. He cracks his head back and forth, doing some stretches as the music fades from the sound system. Once the ring area has gone silent, The Hotshot looks towards the audience in preparation for the coming battle.

The crowd cheers as Tommy Dragon, a PWA legend is about to face off with one of the quickest, and most high flying superstars ever to set foot in a PWA ring. Adam was scared, well not really scared, he was nervous. He had never faced a wrestler at such high caliber with any sort of hope at winning. He didn't know why he hoped he would win so badly tonight, maybe it was simply the fact that he has been improving with every match. Hell, maybe it was just that he was a cocky bastard, whatever it was, he hoped it would work. Tommy on the other hand had more of a relaxed state of mind. Just another young kid demanding to be higher in the ranks, been there, done that. He thought as the ref demanded for the bell to be rung.

DING DING DING!!!

The ring bell is in the middle of being rung as Tommy slowly walks into the middle of the ring to lock in a shoulder lock with the younger Adam. Adam had a slightly different strategy, he was hoping to attack from every angle, and every speed possible. Tommy was first to the middle, as Adams legs were wobbly, Dragon put both of his arms out and grabbed the shoulders of Senton who did the same to Tommy. Both men were used to collar and elbow tie ups as they were both ring veterans, although Tommy is much more experienced than Adam. Tommy was also much bigger than Adam, and he thud hoped to take advantage of his power advantage. Tommy pushed down on Adam with all of his strength, and this forced Adam to one knee. The crowd gathers behind one of the longest lasting PWA wrestlers as he attempts to put the younger wrestler in his place. Tommy releases his hold much to the chagrin of the PWA faithful who wonder why he just let the youngster off? Tommy pulls back his right leg and unleashes on the speedster with a soccer style kick. The crowd cheers finding out the answer to the previous question. Adam falls to the canvas like a sack of potato's and the crowd erupts in chants of, "TOMMY" over and over. Dragon grabs the hair of Adam and elevates him off of the canvas. Senton is back on his feet and more or less defensless to the picking of the former intercontinental champion, Tommy Dragon. Tommy pulls back his right hand, he pushes it into the face of Adam who falls back against the ropes. The only thing preventing Adam from going over and out of the ring, is the ring ropes. Dragon walks back a few feet and points at Senton who is still out cold almost. Tommy was no more than six inches away from the younger superstar when he sees something that he should have seen coming a mile away. Adam lowered his body just in time as Tommy was about to slam him over the top rope. Tommy let a disgruntled yell escape his mouth and the crowd was shocked. Dragon flew over the top rope his hands out, as if he was trying to break his fall. The crowd boos as Adam is still inside the ring with his arms held high, well the PWA legend is out on the cold floor. Adam laughs at Tommy, who has no expression on his face, however he is breathing and he has his eyes open, thus he is neither dead nor out cold.

Johnny:Damn it! Senton has a chance!

Donny:Well, he has got to take advantage of Tommy being out of it, because the lord knows that Tommy is one of the best wrestlers ever!

OOC:I thought I would get a small one up.

EDIT:Added A chance.

Tommy Dragon grasps his forehead, not to signify that he was presently in pain; instead using the expression to symbolize his anger with being made a fool. He feels the padded concrete beneath his aching form, pushing against it in order to rise from his crash site. There is a small applause for his ascendance from the unforgiving arena floor, with Adam Senton heading over to the ring ropes before the official steps in. This prevents the cruiserweight from participating in any of his highflying antics, causing the fans to act cruelly towards the referee. With the authority in his favor, there is room for the Patron Saint to slide into the squared circle and begin the match anew. Defiant to a fault, the New Brunswick native continues to mock his technically-skilled adversary - something that comes to a halt not from self control, but by an equally embarrassing slap across his face. Such a disgraceful tactic is not taken lightly by the formerly masked warrior, but he has little time to counteract. In an instant, both men are pushed against the canvas by an excellently executed takedown at the waist from the hands of the enraged athlete self-proclaimed as The Hotshot. A series of forearms to the skull seems to bring all sense of seriousness back to this contest, with the victim of each blow realizing he had triggered something evil from the man amusingly labeled a saint. Although sufficient for vengeance, this procedure is nowhere near the amount of damage required to put an end to this battle. Knowing more punishment would be required, Tommy peels the competitor from the springed surface and begins to snake his way around so he is presented with the defenseless backside (I know how you want to take that - but readers - please ignore childish impulses) of Adam Senton. Grabbing him from behind (see above note), PWA’s Personal Jesus flings his opponent shoulders first into the canvas with a sinister German Suplex, holding on so he can roll through for a follow-up. Two men stand - one on his own accord while the other is enslaved to the motions of his matter - in a similar position as before. In another attempt, the New Yorker snaps his captor backwards, but the effect is too dissimilar from the past for the technician’s liking. This time around, the only slam against the mat come from the boots of the intended victim, who grabs hold of his assailant’s head before falling down. In an improvised Reverse DDT, the skull of the submissionist is nearly spiked into the squared circle, causing brief unconsciousness for the sufferer. Now there is a chance for the younger gladiator to truly showcase his abilities, such a victory necessary in order to ascend the ladder inside this company. Seeing only one way to put his foe away, the cruiserweight going to the one part of this environment that he assured himself he knew better than his experienced combatant. Knowing what to expect, the fans’ reaction is peaked by a sudden interest one of the participants takes in the steel posts at ringside, each used to maintain the vinyl covered cables in their proper position. Spectators stand, their echoes carried throughout the arena as Adam Senton finally ascends to the final rope at the nearest turnbuckle corner. He looks out to the audience, pointing towards them before blindly leaping backwards in a Diving Moonsault. While not the most eccentric of his aerial maneuvers, this grandfathered move is enough to knock the wind of it’s receiver. Oxygen drains from the lungs of a downfallen American Crippler upon impact with the anatomy of his attacker, who remains across the chest of the submissionist - hooking the far leg in a pin attempt that could very well conclude this match.

Donny: Tommy Dragon is down after that moonsault, can he kick out?

Johnny: No idea Donny, it was a well-timed move by Adam Senton and it may put an end to the run that his opponent has been on lately.

OOC:Sorry for this RP being so short, and crappy, but my PC that I normally use is not working.\

Adam crawls over to the broken carcass of the hot shot, and he lifts his right leg, thus making a pin attempt. However, before he can even get a simple two count, Tommy kicks out. The crowd cheers as the PWA legend saves himself to fight another day. Dragon grabs the top rope and pulls his average sized frame up and he is back on his feet. Meanwhile, Adam Senton is also back up and looking for yet another way to silence his critics and his enemies who still think he can't get the jobs done against PWA legends, and current superstars. Adam forces a hard right chop unleash itself on the upper torso of the former PWA intercontinental champion, and tag team champion, who stumbles back, seeming to be a little fazed by the chop that forced him to take a few deep breaths. Adam than walked up to PWA superstar and hit him across the chin with a right uppercut. Tommy, after the hard hit fell to the mat, with a possible dislocated jaw. The crowd shows its love for Tommy with a course of boos to the younger superstar who, as you should do, shrugs it off like it was just he, Tommy and the PWA referee were the only ones there. Adam chuckled at Tommy who was bleeding out of his nose. How can this guy be such a legend in the industry, if he can barely take a damn punch? The answer is clear to most Pojo Wrestling Alliance fans, Tommy is tired, and run down after a few weeks of hard fought matches against PWA's upper tier of wrestlers. Tommy Driver, as the name on his drivers license states, grabs the ropes once again and he pulls hard so that he is standing in the face of Senton, quite quickly. Dragon attempted to jab the nose of Adam Senton, who blocks it quickly and pulls his whole right leg back and tries to put it into the balls of Dragon. However, much to the chagrin of the formerly masked warrior, Tommy was thinking of something along the same lines, and in this case, he was quicker. The right knee of the hotshot pushed into the balls of Adam, ouch. This one simple word sums up the reaction for the face of Adam Senton, and also the reaction from the men in the crowd. The hotshot, without wasting any time at all, grabs the head of Adam and brings it down towards his midsection. Dragon pulls his right hand into the air and forces it down onto the back of Adam's cranium. After, Tommy pulled the head of the light-weight fighter down in between his legs and Tommy hopped into the air. Tommy pushed the head of Adam Senton down onto the mat, thus hitting a pedigree, a move made famous by WWE wrestler, Triple H. The crowd erupts in cheers as Tommy lets air re-fill his lungs and than he pulls his large body onto the smaller one of Senton.

Despite continuing the match, Adam Senton suffered a fair amount of damage from that last maneuver. He attempts to lift his aching head from the canvas, but finds himself unable to move painlessly. Contributing to his misfortune is the impatient technician, who decides to waste zero time before delivering a sickening kick to the cheek of his downed opponent. The ill-prepared cruiserweight rolls away in agony, clenching his face as the referee scolds his technically-sound adversary. Tommy Dragon nods his head in agreement with the official, knowing it would benefit him to obey the law of the land and simply allow his foe a moment to recover. Grasping the ropes seems to help rejuvenate the upper functions of the New Brunswick native; the athlete getting to his feet at a much faster rate than even his opponent had predicted. Now in legal grounds to attack, The Hotshot launches himself forward - forearm raised to strike - as his intended prey begins to turn around. With seemingly no chance to counterattack, the quick-minded highlight reel is able to drive a boot into the midsection of the once dominant submissionist. The stiff blow temporarily stuns it’s receiver, who backs away uncertain of where exactly he had been wounded while his supposed victim prepares to follow up. A few more kicks seem to subdue the technician momentarily, not allotting enough time to connect with anything significant, but enough for his cohort to take advantage of the situation. Following a well-placed shot to the abdomen, Tommy keels over as if to expel his last meal. With his opponent kneeled over in pain, the opportunistic Adam Senton snakes his arm around the defenseless head of PWA’s self-proclaimed Personal Jesus. In order to keep the crowd excited, the young cruiserweight extends his pointed finger towards the other end of the squared circle to plot his destination. This peaks some interest from the spectators, who watch as the juvenile competitor pulls his captive ever closer to his prophesized landing area before dropping down to the mat. Everything had been executed perfectly, but the former Hardcore Champion never feels the springed surface he was sure was beneath him. Upon further investigation, he realizes that Tommy Dragon had used his strength in order to hold both men from crashing down. Furthermore, the New Yorker is able to distribute the weight of two warriors enough for him to lift his struggling captor several feet from the ring. In a spectacular showing of athleticism, the technician wraps his arm around the neck of Adam Senton - at the same time hooking the nearest leg and pushing hands together. The instant his fingers entwine with each other, the Patron Saint exerts all of his energy in pulling the enslaved athlete back into the canvas, holding his place following the Saint-plex. It would be much simpler to remain in this position, but a egotist like our friendly neighborhood American Crippler cannot opts to returns a favor from earlier. Rolling through with his opponent still at hand, the two gladiators are brought up from the mat by the determination of the stronger. After getting to his feet, he repeats the procedure from earlier and forces his opponent down for a second Saint-plex. With a mistake of the past redeemed, Tommy decides now is ideal for an attempted victory. Seeing that the captive’s shoulders are pinned down, the official slides over and begins to slap the canvas; thousands of fans in the arena and millions at home counting along with him.

Johnny: Tommy has worked on the upper body of Senton the entire match, could this put him away?

Donny: It certainly looks like it Johnny; Senton may have had his momentum cut too soon to make a comeback now.
