--- Black Dragon --- Black Dragon enters. --- Showtime --- Without warning, the lights in the arena dim. With the cue of the exciting introduction music of Showtime, the fans erupt in rapture at the arrival of the superstar. Not a seat in the arena is filled, as the entirety of the arena stands in honor of the Bionic Bostonian. Showtime steps onto the stage, the lime green lights illuminate his toned physique as he begins to march through the domain set. His eyes are filled with competitive spirit, and the roughian will stop at nothing to defeat his opponent tonight. His feet march to the beat of the music as he progresses toward the ring, his eyes focused at the ring. Ring announcer: And his opponent, weighing in at 275 lbs., SHOWTIME!!! The fans erupt at the mention of his name, almost enough to overpower the sounds of the music of "Beware" by The Deftones blasting through the soundsystem. Fortunately for the viewers at home, the music is still distinguishable through the piles of rejective screams. You should know (by now) really That this could end, really You should know I could never make it work Wake up Let's pretend, really Really Babe Do you like the way the water tastes Like gunfire And you knew but you could never say Then come forth 'cause it's coming round Round the water Beware the water Showtime is not nearly as charismatic as he once was, looking more evil and grim than anyone could have ever imagined him. He looks into the crowd, a blank expression on his face. Showtime steps onto the stairs which lead to the squared circle, the arena that will decide both his fate, and his opponent's fate. He steps through the ropes, quickly catching his balance on both feet and walking over to the corner turnbuckle where he calls wildly to the fans, raising his arms victoriously into the air, waving slightly from the momentum of the swing. The fans are just as wild in their jeers at Showtime, screaming rigorously as they bellow their loudest boos in a vain attempt for the legendary competitor to hear them. He steps down from the corner turnbuckle, and walks toward the opposite turnbuckle, where he repeats this process. You should know Babe At least pretend you did know why It's not like you watch so go on take a drink Really Babe Do you like the way the water tastes Like gunfire You knew but it was never safe Take one more 'cause it's coming round Round the water Beware the water Beware the water He stands now towards the center, awaiting his opponent's readiness. |

Showtime was an iconic legend in the PWA. He had recently made his return once again to the Pojo Wrestling Alliance and was determined to put aside his opponent, Black Dragon. Black Dragon however had recently been on a role and very well wanted to continue to his streak and nothing would do that better then beating one of the “older” stars in terms of longevity. The match itself would most likely prove to be interesting and yet again Black Dragon had the height advantage. After a short briefing with the two, large wrestlers the Senior Official calls for the bell, signaling the beginning of the bout. Ding! Ding! Ding! Who takes the initiative first? Black Dragon does. Quickly he lunges his long arms towards Showtime. Unable to properly counter or move out of the way the Iconic Legend succumbs the grapple and is forced into a simple Sleeperhold as Black Dragon swings around to the rear of his opponent with his arms tightening around the neck the Bostonian. Showtime suddenly becomes frustrated with himself and attempts to break Black Dragon’s hold with his possibly stronger body, but this time the arms of the “Dragon of Black” as Deception so kindly put it earlier in the evening were stronger. It only takes seconds for the Bostonian to feel the weakness within his head. Not wanting to fall on his own knees, the iconic wrestler attempts to break free one more time but suddenly feels the biceps of Black Dragon carve deeper into his neck. The much taller man applies all possible pressure against the neck of his foe. Showtime grits his teeth as he feels the weakness come over his body, he has been here before. I can break free, or so he thinks. Without any possible warning, Black Dragon suddenly releases his opponent backwards in the direction of the upper right turnbuckle. The nearly crunched necked of his opponent is relieved, and blood begins to flow properly throughout his body once again. His body is treated to more punishment, however. His back slams against the metal post of the turnbuckle without any preparation and the pain rightfully stings straight into him. The battle scarred veteran however quickly locates his opponent with his weary eyes. It becomes too late for him however as Black Dragon’s boot suddenly appears before him. The strength of Black Dragon’s left leg is slammed against his upper torso, the pain penetrating his body from two sides now. Instinctively Showtime stumbles forward to relieve himself and attempt to get out of the trap, but Black Dragon simply scoops him up like a fishing net and then slams him down against the canvas with a Bodyslam, like one that was overweight and broke off the crane. The Impact shakes the arena rather easily. Black Dragon senses his opportunity to end the match early. Opting not to pin his shocked opponent, he quickly gets up, grabbing Showtime’s black hair in the process, taking him along for the ride north. The dazed Showtime is quickly bent forward by the seven footer. Black Dragon’s fans sense what is next and cheer loudly, countering Showtime’s own vast legion of fans. Black Dragon spends no further time in preparation and executes his rather sickening finishing manuever, The Dragon's Revenge which had not been used properly since his return. Black Dragon’s leg travels downward on the neck of Showtime and pounds it deeper into the canvas on impact. The shock is enough to put Showtime out, possibly for the pin. Black Dragon easily forsees this and rolls over his hapless foe, hoping for an early victory. 1! Kickout! Johnny: Did Showtime just kick out of that? Donny: Yes he did, yes he did! |

Always a resilient contender, Showtime is never one to stay down easy. This trait of Showtime’s personality has been seemingly exponentially increased since his return to the PWA just last week; a fire burns in his eyes now that shows he has something to prove. Black Dragon looks a bit shocked that Showtime kicked out so easily, but after realizing the caliber of the veteran with whom he is contending his shock quickly turns to determination to get the job done. Black Dragon towers above Showtime as a much taller and slightly wider figure than the Iconic Legend. The powerful giant bends down to lift the Boston Bad-Ass to his feet, and after grabbing a hold of his opponent’s skull he lines up his fist for a perfect Jab to the forehead, immediately sending Showtime stumbling backwards, struggling to maintain an upright stance. His legs taper underneath his muscular build, his thighs bulging as the leg muscles flex and tighten to transfer the balance to either side of his body. Although simultaneously holding his face, he is able to prevent from keeling over and falling to the canvas. His efforts prove futile just moments later when Black Dragon stalks him down, following him quickly as he staggers across the ring. With the Devil’s Son’s back turned to his opponent, Black Dragon is able to keep his foe in check with a solid Forearm Shot to the back and neck. The powerful force of the blow acts on the mobile man to cause him to accelerate forward, stumbling clumsily into the turnbuckle chest-first. To prevent his defenselessness from becoming his bitter ending, Showtime turns around in the corner to face his gigantic opponent. Johnny: Showtime’s in a bad way here, this could be a pretty open-and-shut case for Black Dragon! Donny: Showtime’s just getting warmed up, give him a minute! Ring rust, ever heard of it? Apparently, Showtime hasn’t heard of it either. Or at least it doesn’t affect him quite as much as some other wrestlers, because at this very moment Showtime completely turns the tide of the match with a vicious Boot to the midsection. This causes Black Dragon to double over, clutching his stomach as the air rushes from out of his lungs. Even doubled over this way, Black Dragon is still approximately Showtime’s height. It is this change in height that allows Showtime to barge full-steam ahead out of the corner and raise his arm for a Lariat that would have decapitated Black Dragon if his head weren’t screwed on right. The beastly giant lie prone on the canvas, his knees bent toward the rafters, his elbows in a similar contortion as they clench his neck and head, comforting to the pain he has just experienced. Unfortunately, Black Dragon wasn’t born an octopus to comfort the other areas of his body as they are rained on by a series of ruthless Stomps to his midsection and back. The look of rage on Showtime’s face expresses his hunger to be regarded as one of the best in the PWA even after a short break from action. This anger is manifested through his violent actions toward his opponent. His cheeks and lips are taut as he continues to stomp the proverbial mudhole into Dragon’s midsection, each stomp jolting the body of the recipient as well as causing a crash within the arena that resembles a clap of thunder, startling all those within the Kemper Arena. After a long string of these stomps, the Bionic Bostonian finally opts for a new method of offense, looking behind him briefly as he charges toward the other end of the ring, bouncing off the ropes behind him as he charges toward his opponent once again. Leaping into the air, Showtime tries to come down on Black Dragon with a Leg Drop, but unfortunately for the former World Champion the giant hasn’t been weakened enough for such an attack, and thus is able to roll smoothly and quickly out of the way. Showtime crashes to the canvas landing flat on his ass in a seated position. He lets out a slight scream in pain, and his face widens as he begins holding his lower back immediately after impact, and the two men remain on the canvas where they gather their wits to continue the war. |

Black Dragon pulls his monstrous frame from the canvas, crawling his way over towards the smaller - but still massive - opponent. His adversary is doing the same, both men getting to their feet close enough to begin exchanging punches. Seeing these back and forth blows going nowhere, Showtime bursts forward with a Spear that knocks the two competitors to the outside. Neither man can climb to his feet yet, only able to hear the official count them away. 1... 2... 3... 4.….. 5... Starting at five, Showtime starts to pull himself from the padded concrete. He looks over towards the ring, too groggy to make a charge for it. His opponent recovers as well, the two blasting each other with fists, neither able to reach the squared circle in time. 6... 7... 8... 9.… 10! Ring Announcer: This match is a draw via double count-out! The two stop, looking over at each other as the bell rings to make the decision official. (OORP: Ending was cleared with Vegeta.) |
