--- New York Man --- The fans wait in anticipation. All of a sudden, "New York, New York" is played throughout the arena. Out comes New York Man who has been on a recent hiatus. Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen......Now entering the ring weighing 180 pounds from NEW YORK CITY.......NEEEEW YOOORK MAAAN! NYM charges down towards the ring, wearing a black Yankee cap with the Yankee jersey. He holds a wooden baseball bat in his right hand. He enters the ring where he awaits his opponent. --- Indystar --- "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum." "Hellraiser" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system after the quote from "They Live!". At about the thirty second mark of the song, the Indystar and his wife, Lightstar head to the ring. The crowd cheer as Indy and Lightstar high-five the reaching hands. Announcer: Making his way to the ring and accompanied by his mananger and wife, Lightstar....from Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada, weighing 205.lbs....The Indystar Indy tears off his "anime Indy" t-shirt and heads to the ring. As he enters the ring, hundreds of paper streamers fly into the ring, blanketing the Indystar and the ring I'm living on an endless road Around the world for rock and roll Sometimes it feels so tough But I still ain't had enough I keep saying that it's getting too much But I know I'm a liar Feeling all right in the noise and the light But that's what lights my fire Indy tears off the paper streamers, then drops onto one knee. He extends his arms to do the Muta pose Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat Hellraiser, rock you back in your seat Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you As the camera crew finish their picture taking, Indy heads to his corner, climbs onto it and lies on the top turnbuckle like a hammock. |

The two former cruiserweight champions stand poised in the ring. The referee signals for the bell. Ding Ding Ding! The three chimes are echoed in the same rhythm throughout the sold out arena, symbolizing the beginning of this cruiserweight contest. New York Man, in his pinstriped Yankee jersey and black Yankee cap swipes his boot into the lower body of the man who took the cruiserweight championship away from him. His body is now bent like a stick which gives the New Yorker the opportunity to wrap his right arm around the head of Indystar. The man formally known as Mike Constine drops down, back first, onto the canvas which triggers his cruiserweight counterpart to have his face smashed into the unforgiving canvas. This all adds up to New York Man successfully converting the DDT. Showing no signs of being rusty from his long Hiatus, New York Man quickly scurries to his feet and sprints to the Northwest corner of the ring to climb on the turnbuckles until stopping on the top. New York Man is looking to capitalize on his momentum by unleashing a major impact move in his arsenal. New York Man keeps his balance on the top turnbuckle as the crowd rises to their feet in anticipation of one of New York Man's high risk maneuvers. New York Man lunges off the top turnbuckle and spreads out all four of limbs as far as possible while in midair. Camera bolts are flashing all over the place as if lightning is striking the area. New York Man's stomach connects to the stomach of Indystar as New York man has converted the New York Drop. The New Yorker slides off of the motionless body of his opponent and lies till on the canvas himself. It appears that New York Man has suffered some side affects from his own move, a symptom of rustiness from a long absence. This forces the referee to begin the process of a count out. However, a few seconds later, both men begin to show some movement. New York Man shifts to his side and finally turns up and over into a crawling position. Indystar struggles but finally advances into a sitting position. The process of reaching a vertical position is slow and frustrating but both men have finally climbed up their feet, still showing affects of the New York Drop. The New Yorker attempts to throw a right hook but it's blocked by Indystar and countered with a left hook onto the right cheek of New York Man. While New York Man is dazed from Indystar's last attack, the former cruiserweight champion falls on his back and kicks New York Man in the chest, forcing the New Yorker to instantly drop down onto his backside. Indystar also landed on his back but gets up instantly due to some new found momentum. The standing Cruiserweight's Missile Dropkick may not be enough to permanently silence New York Man so IndyStar goes to the North rope and climbs onto the middle rope. He springs off and does a flip in the air and connects on New York Man and realizing that move could do it; Indystar remains laying on New York Man in a pin-fall position. The referee drops down and counts. 1.... 2.... |

Emphatically kicking out, New York Man narrowly escapes being handed a loss by the wily Indystar. Frustrated, Indystar begins to raise New York Man back to his feet, but from out of nowhere the Bronx native exploded, and caught Indystar with the The New York Cutter! The fans popped at the sudden rise in action! This could be it! Sprawling down on his foe, New York Man firmly hooks the leg! The surprise moves turns out to be enough to do Indystar in, as the referee connects with a third strike against the mat! The bell rings. Ring Announcer: Winner of this match by pinfall, NEW YORK MAN! The referee raised New York Man's arm high above his head. (OOC: Enforcing the new rule.) |
