--- Jeff McKearney --- The lights flicker to a dull glow, focusing on the entrance stage, preparing for the arrival of another superstar this evening. New York Man, Jeff McKearney, and Brandon Hawk look at the masked wrestler known as El Vibora, who had disappeared from Lucha Libre some time ago. Kamikaze Kid goes for double Roman knuckle lock with Jeff while NY Man goes for a collar elbow tie-up with El Vibora. While Jeff and KK struggle for dominance, New York Man twists Vibora’s arm then whips him into the ropes. Hitting the three metal wires, Vibora snapped back into NYM and leaped over the leaning New Yorker. Expecting a sun set flip, New York Man braced himself, but instead, Vibora did a barrel roll, leaped onto the top-rope and did a springboard moonsault towards Jeff and Kid. Seeing the incoming Luchadore, McKearney moved out of the way, allowing the Guerrero graduate to apply a front facelock on Kamikaze Kid and drove him into the ground with a swinging DDT. As he slammed into the ground, Vibora bounces back to his feet, allowing Jeff McKearney to grab him from behind, and lifted and slammed the luchadore to the ground with a belly to back suplex. As he got back up, Jeff was ambushed by New York Man, getting flipped onto his back with a kitchen sink to the gut. Grabbing Jeff by his hair, NYM scooped and slammed the Fightin’ Irish, then dragged him close to the corner. To keep him from moving, the New York native stomped hard on McKearney’s solar-plexus, and then began to climb up the top rope. As he stepped up to the top of the corner, Kamikaze Kid staggered towards the former cruiserweight champion Johnny: What is Kamikaze Kid planning to do? Donny: Nothing good, that’s what! Leaping over McKearney, Brandon dropkicked the top turnbuckle, knocking New York Man off his feet and forced him to sit on the metal bolt. KK climbs up and wraps his arm around NYM’s head, unaware that Vibora was heading towards them. Leaping over Jeff, the luchadore slipped under KK, grabbed the man by his thighs and pulled; this caused a chain reaction as KK was power bombed while superplexing New York Man to the ground. Just before KK and NYM hit the ground, Jeff McKearney rolled out of the way then clotheslined Vibora into the corner, then bulldogged the snake-themed wrestler into the ground while kicking a sitting Kamikaze Kid in the face. Johnny: This match is insane; who would have thought action like this would be in PWA today!? Donny: uh…..people? Lifting Vibora back to vertical base, McKearney pushes him into the ropes and whipped to the other side. Instead of bouncing back, Vibora leaped over the rope and onto the ring apron, taunting McKearney to attack him. Jeff goes a clothesline but Vibora ducks then headbutts the Irish wrestler. Stumbling back, Jeff goes for a shoulder block in between the top and middle rope. Using the top rope, Vibora lifts himself up, dodging the shoulder block and then drove his boots into the head of Jeff McKearney. Jeff stumbles back, bent over as he grabbed the back of his head in pain. Vibora uses the rope like a springboard and bounces onto Jeff’s back, hooking the man’s arms with his legs and uses his own weight to flip McKearney over with a Yoshi-Tonic! Vibora pins One Two Suddenly New York Man dropkicks Vibora in the face, stopping the pin; McKearney rolls out of the ring. Rolling back to his feet from the force of the dropkick, Vibora is approached by New York Man, who pushes the luchadore into the ropes and whips him into the opposing side; catching Vibora, New York Man drives his opponent into his thigh, and then lifts him onto his shoulder, only to hit Vibora with a Davey-Boy Smith-style powerslam. Just before he could pin the luchadore, Kamikaze Kid lifts New York Man up and kicks him in the gut. Lifting hip up by his waist, KK uses one of his patented powerbombs to drive NYM into the mat, converting it into a Liger Bomb, pinning him in the process One Two McKearney pushes KK off NYM, stopping the pin. KK tries to get back up but Jeff headbutts KK in the head, scoops him up and spun around to show the crowd how strong he was. Suddenly, Kamikaze Kid is thrown over with a Fallaway Slam, landing on a standing El Vibora. Just before he could even stand back, Jeff pulls KK back up onto vertical base, by pulling on the man’s tights. The Irish wrestler applies a waist lock but Kamikaze breaks the hold and gets behind McKearney, and hitting a German suplex on Jeff. KK bridges for a pin One Two Suddenly, El Vibora runs up to KK, leaps up and hits a standing swan-drive senton bomb onto the mid-section of Kamikaze Kid, breaking the pin. Standing back up, Vibora crosses KK’s arms across his chest then pins them down with his leg, then Vibora grabs KK’s legs and uses them to apply a figure four, thus locking in the Delfin Clutch. The referee drops to the ground to count the pin One Two BOOM!! Out of nowhere, both Jeff and New York Man dropkick Vibora in the head at the same time, causing the luchadore to fall out of the ring! |

After the rather vicous double dropkick, the only two men left standing are New York Man and Jeff Mckearney. Being relatively new to the company still, Jeff has never faced off against NYM and doesn't exactly know what to expect from the nearly half his size competitor. Instead of using his speed, NYM decides to throw a wild right hand at his much larger adversary. The punch has the effect you'd think it would. None. He stares at his fist in initial shock before finally deciding on a better course of action. He rushes to the opposite side of the rings pressing his body deeply into the stiff cables which in turn fling him forward with great speed, sending him straight for Mckearney's face. The 19 year old Irishman seems to realize that no matter how strong he may be, the force and speed of his opponent may just be better in this instance. The New York Native leaps up into the air and begins to twist his body in a corkscrew motion. Jeff seems to be thrown off by this spinning, having never seen such a bizzare motion in his short career. However, Mckearney quickly learns the effects of the spin as NYM's elbow drives up under the young irishman's chin effectively knocking the large athlete to the canvas. NYM springs back up to his feet only to come face-to-face with the other large athlete in this contest. Kamikaze Kid. Johnny: This doesn't look good for the New Yorker. Donny: "Well, he's clearly overmatched in this contest." Whether he's overmatched or not, NYM isn't going to give up that easily. The New York Native once again runs towards the ropes and they once again give him that extra boost of speed. KK is no rookie however and his skill shows almost immediately as he rushes to the side, pressing his own body into the ropes and giving him an insane burst of speed. The two head for the inevitable collision when seemingly out of nowhere, El Vibora slams both his boots into side of KK's right knee! The second largest athlete in the match slides to the canvas with a scream of pain as his knee collapses under his weight, leaving NYM to leap over the two downed bodies with ease. He's not safe though, his quick wits and quicker eyes show him that Mckearney has climbed back to a vertical base and is standing right in his path. The 19 year old lowers his head and NYM attempts a leap-frog over him. The only problem is, Mckearney was expecting such a move and ends up with NYM laid over his shoulder! The 180 pounder knows something bad is about to happen to him and he begins to struggle with all his strength to escape the predicament. It's not be though, Jeff wraps both his arms around his opponent's legs and yanks forward. The large athlete drops to his knees as he drives the back of his opponent's head into the canvas with a violent Modified Alabama Slam, removing New York Man from this contest for awhile. Now, it's Vibora's turn, having seemingly recovered from previous attacks in this matchup. Johnny: "This doesn't look good for anyone. Mckearney seems to be kicked into second gear here." Donny: "I don't think New York Man will be too much of a factor in the outcome of this one." The only Luchadore in this contest, Vibora shows his much greater speed as he doesn't even use the ropes to rush the large Irish competitor. 275 pounds of raw muscle, Jeff seems confident in his ability to stop El Vibora. The Luchadore leaps up into the air and shoots both feet forward, connecting with solid chest of Jeff Mckearney and knocking the large athlete staggering back into the ropes. Vibora meanwhile, backflips onto his feet, completing an amazing Dropsault. Unfortunately, Mckearney was saved by the ring ropes which seem to have stopped him from stumbling completelly out of the ring. Vibora once again charges forward, but this time Mckearney pushes off the ropes and drives his right arm into the throat of his smaller opponent, dragging the cruiserweight to the canvas and dropping him there with a Modified STO. Mckearney slowly crawls into a cover, ready to end this four way. 1! 2! |

As the second strike of the official's hand rung through McKearney's ears, his instincts told him to tighten up this pinning attempt, as he could feel the muscles in El Vibora clenching up. In response to this, McKearney hooked the leg of the still stunned El Vibora, and wrenched back. With one final strike of the referees hand, the bell sounded and the match was over. Ring Announcer: The Winner of this match as a result of pinfall, JEFF McKEARNEY! The unresponsive crowd simply hurled their jeers down upon the Irishman, for he had just pinned the only true luchador in the match up! Grinning slyly at the disgusted crowd, Jeff climbed the turnbuckle and held out his hands in victory, as the crowd continue to frenzy. As the other members of the match collected themselves and brushed themselves off, there was one other competitor who wasn't pleased at all; El Vibora. Having quickly climbed back to his feet, and regained his bearings, El Vibora charged Jeff from behind, knocking the Irishman over the edge of the turnbuckle and down all the way to the floor! The audience roared as El Vibora seemed to have the last laugh, leaving the victor of the match, Jeff McKearny, sprawled out on the floor, not having known what hit him. |
