"The King of the Crosshairs" climbs onto the apron and walks to the corner turnbuckle.

Announcer: Weighing in at 225 lbs, HE IS "THE PROTESTED HERROOO"..... SEEEERIAAAAALLL!!

"The Zodiac's Apotheosis" stands on second turnbuckle, and looks at crowd as he raises an arm in the air.

Serial jumps off of the turnbuckle and awaits the bell.

----

The quick three-step musical talents of Chris Cornell blast through the speakers throughout the arena. Mind-blowing; absolute frenzy is all that can said about the people of this humble arena. In place, all swim with their own technique in "stroke." The three-step musical piece repeats. At the top of their lungs they push out the last shreds of oxygen in vocal manner. A third three-step ensues. In and out signs jive as to create a wave effect. The last of the three-steps sets up the song.

If you take a life do you know what you'll give?
Odds are, you won't like what it is
When the storm arrives, would you be seen with me?
By the merciless eyes of deceit?

I've seen angels fall from blinding heights
But you yourself are nothing so divine
Just next in line ...

Yes! He appears, top stage; body covered in pure darkness. Only his pure hues at the coincidental start of the song's chorus can send the embassy crumbling. His body still in shadow, one can only imagine what his appearance may contain. Patience is kindly rewards in the most unlikely way ... with a sudden deafening BOOM and bright pale flash. A single light adjusts itself upon this man of mystery.

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name

Darkness hides itself at the rim of the lone light; a spotlight. The figure's formed stride holds steady without the slightest of miscue. Head sits upon his broad shoulders cocked forth into place, although slightly tilted forward. He walks in in his two satin black boots, laced from atop about mid-shin. The spotlight captures an image of itself reflecting from the gloss black plastic knee pads in several different perspectives in result of stride. Below the character's torso, his pure black trunks fit snug, all the while exposing his whole thighs. One can catch his signature symbol in crimson as he slithers on by them. His march halts; he quickly rolls himself into the ring. As he relinquishes himself to vertical base, his entrance music fades away. The prolific Hardcore Legend majestically stands amongst ropes. He cocks his head and shrugs his shoulders to warm up. Alas, the time has come. Silence drains.

The crowd in the Qwest Center here in Omaha, Nebraska is eccentric as the current Intercontinental Champion goes one on one against the “Mightiest” Intercontinental Champion, Tom Tyco. Both men are still feeling the aches from their matches last week, as Serial’s knee was injured while Tyco was brutally assaulted by the reformed "Thrasher" AleXtreme. The two warriors circle the ring as they commence the “feeling out process.” The men meet in the center of the squared circle to initiate a grapple. The more experienced Tyco locks the luchador in a hammerlock just mere moments after the tie up. The Masked Marvel tries with all of his strength to break the early submission maneuver, but the Pick will not let up. The Cruiserweight reaches down for his antagonist’s leg quickly grabbing hold of it and pulling it, sweeping the Man-beast to the mat thus breaking the clutch. The Zodiac’s Apotheosis backs away allowing his opponent to get to his feet, and they begin to circle the ring once again. The gladiators get closer, and the King of the Crosshairs immediately shoots for a takedown, trying to catch Tyco off guard, but it is to no avail as the Hardcore Legend blocks the move and paintbrushes the mask of the Intercontinental Champion for his effort. The agile Champion quickly backs away and gets to a standing position once again, as he does not want to make any mistakes especially against a professional like his opposition this evening. A win against the two-time Intercontinental Champion would surely please administration and show the world over that Serial is no fluke. The Killa’ is still trying to feel out his foe, but can not seem to find any sort of rhythm thus far. The Protested Hero rushes Tyco with a flurry of lefts and rights, with most just hitting the air, but causing the five time Hardcore Champion to reverse into the ropes. The moment Tyco feels his body backed against the wall or ropes in this case, he begins to be the aggressor, but falls right into the methodical Incognito’s trap. Tyco’s left hook is blocked and countered into a knee to the prestigious combatant’s midsection with the Protested Hero quickly following up with a Muay-Thai clinch, tightening his hands around the head of the Pick. Without delay the Georgia residing athlete tries to break free from the hold, but it is without benefit as Serial will not split his martial arts grip, and soon the masked superstar begins to torture the ribs of Tyco with knife like knees, each strike feeling like it pierced the body, and each becoming more and more painful with each blow. The man with a secret waits for just the right moment, and it comes in an instant, as Tom catches the rapid knee, which is like trying to catch a bullet, but somehow the Man-Beast found a way to accomplish the tedious task. The Hardcore Legend takes his counterpart down using his opponent’s knee as leverage to send his foe crashing to the canvas. The former European Champion does not let Serial off the hook this time and quickly grabs hold of both legs, and places his leg in between the two, eventually flipping the hooded Champion and locking him into a move that won the Hart family many matches… the Sharpshooter. Serial tries to break the unalterable submission but can not as all two hundred and sixty seven pounds of Wisconsin born warrior are planted on his back. The referee’s nagging; asking him if he surrenders is not helping the case either, as the Man behind the mask is on a mission to break free or force a rope break. With the ropes on the other side of the ring, due to Tyco’s great ring presence, it seems like the irrevocable move will have to be conked out of. With all of his strength, the Cruiserweight lifts himself off of the mat, even with all of the weight on his back, and quickly transitions to a twister like spin, causing the former Television Champion to also turn over and relinquish the hold; relieving the Champion of much ache, unfortunately the move has done its damage.

Johnny: How did Serial find a way out of the Sharpshooter? That’s a hell of a move to break out of! Both of these men have been on fire as of late, and both want to leave Omaha with a win. Who do you think is going to leave the Qwest Center with a W Donny?

Donny: I don’t know Johnny! Serial costed me a lot of money last week, I always bet on favorites, but he is the “Upset Special.” On the other hand, he’s facing Tom Tyco, who is rarely seen without a title around his waist, and more importantly… his nickname is “The Pick.” This one is a toughie.

Not wanting to quit his aggressiveness, The Pick grabs Serial by his target as of late, his mask, and lifts him to his feet via brute strength. The Gargoyle Irish whips his smaller antagonist into the ropes and uses the momentum built up by the speed of the Champion against him by slamming him to the canvas with a vertebrae shattering Spinebuster, causing the anatomy to smash into the mat similar to going ninety miles per hour into a semi truck. The professional wastes no time and immediately goes for the cover, the first attempt of this bout. The official immediately drops to the canvas and lifts his arm into the air, initiating the count.

ONNNEEE!!!!

TWWWOOOO!!!

KICKOUT!!!!

The verdict is that with a mixed reaction of both cheers and jeers, as the fans in the Qwest Arena are split as to who they are rooting for. Tyco lets out a sigh as he lifts himself off of the perseverant Champion, trying to catch his breath for a moment as he strategizes his next move or two. The determination of the Protested Hero does not allow him to stay down, and he quickly attempts to get to his feet, but the strength of will does not match the force that the Gargoyle uses in a soccer-like kick which sends the luchador back to the canvas.

Johnny: Tyco seems to be controlling the moment of the contest. Will he be able to put out the fire that is our Intercontinental Champion, Serial? We will find out after this quick commercial break folks… Stay Tuned!

OOC: Good Luck TTT. I am looking forward to this match.
EDIT: SIG OUT!

(Sorry about my late arrival. I had a bunch of college crap to take care of. Good Luck)

To add further humiliation to the luchador's downfall, Tom simply sets his right foot upon Serial's chest and adds pressure. Serial flails about under the heavier man's foot while screaming. With a smug grin, Tom climbs the mountain - or rather, the hill - by setting his second foot on the sternum of his opponent. All 267 pounds of Man-beast crush the 225 pound competitor. Serial taps his arms on the canvas to house his undeniable pain. His legs also quake the canvas with a burrowing motion. Meanwhile, with his arms out like a surfer on a board, Tom's balancing on the chest is causing the skin of his opponent to twist is ways that chest skin was never meant to be twisted - tiny tears of pain seethe through Serial's mask. Tom has finally ended his sadistic maneuver after a minute of "body-surfing", but not before jumping to the air and stomping his two feet into Serial's chest cavity one last time for good measure. The force is impacts so hard, an ill cough escapes The Protested Hero's lungs as his head slinks to the side and appendages all come to a calm rest erected from his body. Nobody is sure of the nature of this Man-Beast, but he sure as hell tears his opponents up when given the opportunity. It looks as though the masked ma has been killed, but Tom cares not and continues business as usual. Tyco continues with his articulate plan by pulling Serial to his feet and giving him another mad Irish Whip to a local turnbuckle. The luchador is so destroyed, he can't even turn around when he reaches the undesired destination. His arms are draped over the adjacent ropes and his back is turned toward a charging Tom Tyco. Suddenly, the King of Crosshairs fills with life! His face points toward the sky while he lets out a weird howl! When the camera pans back, it is realized that Serial jumps to life because his massive opponent has connected a shoulder into his his back in a Spear-like manner. After several more agonizing seconds of bone to vertebrate, Serial falls back into a slump over the ropes as Tom pulls himself away. Naturally, all Serial can do is fall backwards into the canvas, limp. This quickly allows Tom Tyco to cover his opponent. "One!" beams from Kirk's voice, to his youthful slap of the canvas. "Two!" "Thre-" The count stops. Serial had not made a stir of his upper body, but his foot jumps onto the rope! Is this man crazy? He's already torn to pieces and he's going to continue fighting! This man is a true champion, but again, Tom doesn't care. Tyco proves his "admiration" by clobbering his right fist into Serial's masked face time and time again. A trickle of blood forms at the corner of the masked fighter's mouth. Just the taste of blood does actually set this fighter off at long last - his arms charge back at Tom's face! One fist bounces so hard at the nose, it causes Tom to reel back from his opponent and caress the damn thing. There isn't much left in Serial, but dammit, he's on the charge and won't back down until he defeats, if not, HURTS the multi-time Intercontinental Champion. As Tom backs away to protect his face, The Masked Marvel rallies forth and strikes the Man-Beast straight in the gut with the hardest punch he can muster. The Gargoyle doubles over while his opponent heads to the ropes and climbs! At the top, the masked one can be seen rubbing his fist because of the punch he delivered, but all care is lost and he jumps! Iconic to this match, the pint-sized fighter commits a Curb Stomp straight into Tyco's lower spine! Mr. Tyco now exerts his own howl to the bulging of his eyes, but his opponent is far from done. Once Serial regroups to his feet, he takes off for the ropes and repels with such grace. He arrives at the wounded Beast with a Baseball Slide fully connecting, sending him to the outside mats of the ring! Insult to Injury, Injury to Injury, it doesn't matter - all the luchador wants to do is disassemble his ruthless opposition. He continues his rally by jumping onto the top rope where his opponent exited the ring and jumps again. He does a back flip in the air before landing in a Cross Body Splash across his foe's back. What the back flip did was added extra energy to the landing. My how the tables have turned. Both men have given each other hell, and the match can end in any way, shape, or form now. Two different fighting styles, two different forms of domination. Neither man is getting up, and the official has counted to "Three" already.

Johnny: This match is all it has hyped up to be. Two men, arguably the best of the Intercontinental Division, have really shown why they are two of PWA's best warriors.

Donny: No kidding. I did not think the little guy, Serial would make the run he is making now, but sure enough, both men are equals it seems. The referee with have a hard time figuring claiming a winner in this one I'm sure.

The Killa' is the first to emerge from the pile of twisted. He rallies his arms atop the canvas and pulls himself in as the official counts to "Seven." Tom is still out there, breathless from his beating. "Eight!" is counted by the official with the crowd backing him. Tom finally stirs. He pulls himself into an erect sit while the official and fans cap off a "Nine!" With everything he has got, Tom leaps to the ring apron and rolls himself in. The count has really destroyed his recovery time, and so he is stuck laying on the canvas face down. Serial, however, has bumbled to his feet and is ready to pick apart his foe and perhaps even end this match so he doesn't have to see Tom's damn grinning face again. The smirk is just sadistic and careless - how could a competitor, let alone, a human being be so careless? Serial charges at the fallen Tom Tyco.

The two gladiators have put on a marvelous show thus far, and at this instant it seems to be an even match up. In their first meeting ever in the PWA or any wrestling federation for that matter, the men in the ring have pulled all the stops with both giving their all, both wanting to leave the arena with a victory. With the Man behind the Mask charging the Man Beast like a rebel without a cause, a man with nothing to lose, The King of the Crosshairs begins the process of his next move as winds his right foot back and a full half circle motion later, the heel of the foot is colliding with Tyco’s jaw, causing an insurmountable amount of pain to the mandible of the self labeled “Mightiest” Intercontinental Champion. The Pick clinches onto his jaw, after that Beckham like kick, Tyco's jaw may very well be broken, but the man who’s boot bottom is imprinted on the victim’s face has no remorse as the Masked Marvel slowly walks toward his fallen foe. Adding more “insult to injury” as well as “injury to injury,” the Protested Hero begins to stomp on the chin of the former Intercontinental Champion, trying with all his might to shatter the bones and disfigure the jaw structure. Before any serious damage can be done, the former European Champion rolls out of the ring, thus escaping further risk of injury or so he thought. The Killa’ backs into the ropes and waits for his opposition to attempt to stand on his two feet. The second the Hardcore Legend meets Serial’s request, the luchador dashes to towards the groggy Tyco and dives flawlessly between the middle and top rope, eventually hitting the Gargoyle like a cop’s bullet hits a wanted man… in the chest at a lightning fast pace, and with no remorse. The two bodies collide on the outside with the momentum knocking the Wisconsin born warrior to the steel guard rail, with the rail having no give at all, causing much to the sore back of the Georgia resident. The suicide dive or Tope! as any Lucha commentator or Johnny Thunder would say, is a signature move of the luchadore, Serial. The agonizing body language that the blonde bomber is signaling, shows to the fans the world over, that the move has done it’s damage. The Zodiac’s Apotheosis lifts himself off the thin mats just outside the squared circle, and like a killer from any slasher film, the Cruiserweight is up to his feet unharmed and thirsty for more blood. The current Intercontinental Champion grabs hold of the thick hair of his opposition and throws him into the ring, beneath the bottom rope, and quickly follows his dazed opponent inside the squared circle. The aggressor at the moment, Serial grabs the head of Tyco looking to inflict further damage to the body of the crowd pleaser, but the two time Intercontinental Champion does not allow himself to be used like one of Vegeta's playthings as he fends off the Killa' with a few right hands to the Cruiserweight’s torso. The crowd now behind the Pick due to the amount of heart he has shown this evening, the enthralled Man-beast gets to his feet on his own free will and fired up, wanting now more than ever to leave Omaha with a win. Not wanting his momentum to be cut short, Serial tries to rush the confident Tyco with a stiff clothesline, but Tom does not fall prey to the smash mouth type move, ducking the arm before it decapitates him. Tyco grabs hold of the Masked Marvel from behind and lifts him off of the mat, only to send him back to the canvas neck and head first with a belly to back suplex. The motivated Tyco quickly gets to his feet once again, and raises his arm in the air to a deafening ovation from the live audience. The Protested Hero is living up to his nickname once again as the fans have turned on the Champion, not because he is a ill mannered, disrespectful superstar, but because there is someone that the fans love more than him that man being Kendo or Tyco in this case. The annoyed masked man gets to a full stance and tries to cut the momentum short once again, this time with a flying knee, but nothing is going right for the IC Champion as the desperation move misses it’s target as Tyco swiftly moves away from it’s crosshairs,. Yet again the Hardcore Legend snatches hold of Serial's body. On this occasion, the Pick lifts his much smaller enemy and slams him to the mat with an effective Spinebuster, a spine crackling move that the gladiator used once earlier this evening. The Man-beast sees the prone body lying on the canvas and immediately makes the cover. The ref obliges and slides down to the mat, as the crowd is going beserk as their man may in fact leave with a win!

ONNNNEEE!!!

TWWWOOOO!!!!

But the heart of Serial does not allow him to stay down for the three count. Tyco lifts himself off of the luchador, and goes back to dismantling the masked man in front of his loving crowd. The Pick signals to the audience for his finisher and the deafening crowd erupts with even more joy. Tyco lifts his fallen adversary, placing one of Serial’s arms around the back of his neck as he picks him up into the air, also grabbing a leg of the Masked Marvel. Serial tries to fight out of the maneuver and moments later... Serial is BEHIND TYCO?!?! Somehow. someway the “Upset Special” broke free from the clutches of his opponent, and galliantly landed on his feet behind his opponent. Before the fan favorite can realize it, his head is under the arm of the Protested Hero, who proceeds to lift him off of the mat, twisting himself while falling back, causing Tyco to spin along with him before the Pick’s head crashes into the canvas in a violent matter. The crowd is stunned as they do not know what has just happened. Their hero was just in control of the match, and now he is laid out on the mat via the…

Johnny: PROTESTED HERO’S WELCOME! DONNY! HE FOUND A WAY TO CONNECT IT AGAIN FROM OUT OF NOWHERE! TYCO HAD NO IDEA WHAT HIT HIM!

Donny: Didn’t this happen last week to Streetz? Serial keeps getting lucky, everytime he is about to lose, he finds a way to comeback. I guess that’s why everyone on the message boards calls him the “Upset Special.”

The stunned crowd is silent as the Intercontinental Champion goes for the pin attempt on the prone body of Tyco. The surprised ref begins to make the count once again as he lifts his hand into the air. Will it be enough for Serial to pick up the win? Or will the spirit of the former Champion be able to get his shoulder up in the nick of time?

ONE!

TWOO!!
