--- The Patron Saint --- The silence of the arena is broken by a steady drumbeat met with guitars as Talking Heads begin to fill the sound system. The grim song echoes it's opening lines as the Stunning Submissionist prepares to enter. I can’t seem to face up to the facts, I’m tense and nervous and I can’t relax. I can’t sleep because my bed’s on fire, Don’t touch me I’m a real live wire. The black curtain is shifted aside, revealing the technically skilled warrior with a look of determination on his face. Tommy Dragon appears in his Heaven and Hell-styled attire. He pulls at his goatee a bit, before throwing the hood back and raising his arms to his side, allowing a rain of golden pyrotechnics to fall on his exposed upper body. This gets a decent reaction from the crowd, his few loyal fans cheer loud enough so that the sound mixes with “Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads. Psycho killer, Qu'est-ce que c'est? Fa fa fa-fa fa fa fa-fa fa-far better, Run run run run run run run away. Psycho killer, Qu'est-ce que c'est? Fa fa fa-fa fa fa fa-fa fa-far better, Run run run run run run run away. The camera gets a shot of the backside of Tommy Dragon’s jacket, revealing an iron cross between the claws of the German coat of arms. He inches closer to the squared circle, soon signaling to the ring announcer to give him his introduction. Ring Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from New York City, New York and weighing in at two-hundred and thirty-seven pounds; representing Revolution Incorporated…"The Patron Saint" Tommy Dragon! You start a conversation you can't even finish it, You're talkin' a lot, but you're not sayin' anything. When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed, Say something once, why say it again? Psycho killer, Qu'est-ce que c'est? Fa fa fa-fa fa fa fa-fa fa-far better, Run run run run run run run away. Tommy Dragon ascends the steel steps, looking out towards the fans packed inside the arena for tonight’s event. He cracks his head back and forth, doing some stretches as the music fades from the sound system. Once the ring area has gone silent, the saint looks towards the audience in preparation for the coming battle; the referee checking his attire for any concealed objects before the contest begins. --- Damon White Enters --- Good luck |

The referee waves his hand for the official bell, but finds his wrist suddenly grasped . He turns to his side, looking on as the World Heavyweight Champion calmly tells him to hold on for a few moments before beginning the contest. Completely taken aback by the actions of the champion, the inexperienced athlete remains were he stands while a microphone is brought in to Tommy Dragon’s signaling hand. The Patron Saint of PWA raises the speaker to his lips; blowing into it for a sound check before speaking. Satisfied, he begins speaking. Tommy Dragon: Alright, I’ve been told I need to come out here to wrestle tonight. Normally I’d have declined, but seeing as I am now your World Champion…. He pauses, allowing the fans to boo him as he smiles. Tommy Dragon: Now that I’m World Champion, I need to ensure this belt shines on camera. So I come out here, expecting to grapple with one of the many men backstage who want a shot at my title and I find… well… who the hell are you? The Patron Saint lifts the microphone up to the mouth of his rookie opponent, allowing the young gladiator to speak his name softly into the speaker. Damon White: Damon White. Tommy pulls the piece of electronic equipment away, brining it back to his own lips. He eyes his PWA Cup partner at ringside, turning to him in disgust before speaking. Tommy Dragon: Are you serious? Needless to say, the newcomer is confused by the champion’s words. Tommy Dragon: Look, beating up members of the White family - while fun - is not really something I plan on doing. I’m the goddamn World Champion, there’s no way I’m letting your greenhorn of son touch me. Dean White is shouting at the New Yorker, his son still not sure what to make of this whole affair. Ignoring the boy’s father, Tommy turns back to the young man inside the squared circle. Tommy Dragon: Kid, don’t take this personally. Just when it seemed the World Champion was backing down from the challenge, he charged forward to deliver a surprise European uppercut to an unsuspecting Damon. The referee has no choice but to ring the bell, thus making the contest official despite the obvious disadvantage. While his victim scrambles on the canvas, Tommy steps back into a turnbuckle corner as he watches the chaos at ringside. Dean Michael White calls into his fallen son, trying to encourage the poor fool as the official does his best to ensure as fair a fight one can commission given these circumstances. Perhaps even the so-called paradigm of wrestling believed he owed some respect to the rules governing his title, making sure not to attack the flustered warrior as he began to stand. Once upright, White stumbles forward in hopes of returning the favor to the confident champion with a hard right fist. His hand doesn’t reach it’s target in time, as he is taken down with a lightning-fast lariat that only adds to the pain from the earlier cheap shot. Although his foe would probably kick out, Tommy goes for a pinfall knowing precious energy would be wasted by his already battered opponent. Reluctant, the official falls to the mat and slaps the canvas as Dean curses his boy’s luck. |

Damon kicks out a few heartbeats before the threecount. Tommy grabs Damon, the young gun counters Tommy's advances with a sneaky dropkick. Damon goes airbourne as Tommy is laid out on the ring canvas, Damon hits a spot on elbow drop. Damon's lack of experience begins to show as he goes for a pinfall, Tommy kicks out straight after the two count. Tommy turns the tables and locks an leglock on Damon, as the mixed raced maestro looked all but tapping out, Dean gives his son a helping hand by distracting Tommy which leads to the patron saint breaking his hold by being distracted by Damon's caring father. As Tommy's getting into a shouting match fight Dean, Damon starts to gather his mojo back. As Tommy turns round the fiery newcomer nails Tommy Dragon to the floor with a EBONY DIAMOND, Damon rolls up his foe for the schoolboy pin. the referee begins to count, 1... 2... ...KICKOUT OCC: This is only a Template, I'l RP tommorow fo sho but at this moment of time for me now its Beer O' Clock. |

Dean Michael White is chanting along, over-excitingly leaping onto the apron to cheer his son as the referee's hand strikes canvas for a second time. But to the shock of this ring veteran, the World Champion's shoulder springs off the mat and the match continues. Despite the greenhorn's chances, the fans are still surprised by Tommy Dragon's perseverance but Damon White shows he's not one whose spirit is broken so easily. The warrior begins to pull the warrior off the canvas, setting him up for a DDT as the referee notices Dean on the apron. As the official scolds him, Tommy pushes forward to knock the rookie backwards - an elbow clipping the boy's father - and causing enough distraction for the New Yorker to deliver a kick to the midsection. Damon is hoisted onto the shoulders of the champion before his skull is dropped down onto his knees. The resulting double knee facebreaker knocks the victim out, Tommy making a pin to boos. 1... 2... 3! Ring Announcer: Here is your winner... "The Patron Saint" Tommy Dragon! "Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads hits as Dean enters to check on his son, upset at the boy's first loss. His sympathy ends as soon as Tommy delivers a surprise soccer kick aimed at the head, leaving father and son in the ring to the sound of boos. |
