Yep. Post 'em. Your opinion of course. Don't need to conform to the retarded movie snob that resides at this board >.>

Also don't need to limit yourself to 10, but be aware that nobody is going to read your 120 movie list.

I've divided mine into movies with Al Pacino and/or Robert DeNiro and other. I like DeNiro more than Pacino, but Pacino happens to be in 3/5 of my 5 in this category >.>

Mob/Gangster/Gang/Heist
________
Casino
The Godfather I
Goodfellas
Carlito's Way
Scarface
Lucky Number Slevin
Snatch
Blow
Layer Cake

Action that isn't Mob/Gangster
________
Lord of the Rings 1-3
Terminator II
300
Sin City
Star Wars 3, 5, 6 (I acknowledge 4 as being solid and necessary but I swear I woulda never seen 5 and 6 if I lived back when it was released as a stand-alone)
Casino Royale

Comedy
________
Scary Movie 3
Ocean's 11 (could fit elsewhere, but meh)
All the "Major League" movies
Austin Powers 1 and 2

Drama
________
Awakenings
Matchstick Men (I'll put it here cuz it sort of fits and this part of the list is weak >.>)
A History of Violence

Sports
________
Above the Rim
Any Given Sunday
The Replacements
Rocky IV
Blue Chips

Westerns
________
Young Guns I and II

I'll prolly edit this when someone points something out that I really enjoyed that I happen to not have here. My groupings are also pretty arbitrary since lots of them could fit in 2 categories or more >.>

Awakenings gets no love ever so here's the IMDB link: http://imdb.com/title/tt0099077/

Idon'tfuckingknow.

The Godfather (part one, I don't like 2 as much as everybody else does..), City of God, Assassination of Jesse James, Heat (!), Black Hawk Down, Oldboy, Goodfellas, Requiem for a Dream, Training Day, Crank, LA Confidential, Superbad, The Way of the Gun, Equilibrium, Dazed & Confused, Devil's Rejects, Miller's Crossing, Amores Perros and as my guilty pleasure... Belly. Yeah, Belly. Fucking Belly. >_>

No real order, obviously. Maybe I'll do a list by genre later? Or at least pretty this list up? I doubt it, though, but yeah. shrug. I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two really big ones that should definitely be here. (like Amores Perros, omg.)

EDIT - Wow, that's a lot of movies. I can probably trim a few if I really tried, but I'm lazy. <_< However, do add Will Ferrell to this. Not any one movie in particular, just him as a whole. He is awesome. (Talladega Nights :wub)

I still don't understand why good movies need to be remade. I don't mind when bad ones are and they get improved. But most of the time when a good movie is remade it just ends up flopping, being shitty, and making fans of the original no longer fans of the original. Fuck if it was done right the first time, why do it again.

Well at least Creativity isn't dating his daughter's lookalike. Although Blonde with Big Tits and skinny is easy enough to find.

Prime example, The Remakes of Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER, No relation, no correlation, hell they don't even take place in the same fucking universe or anything. And Romero has nothing to do with any of them, but to be fair I think he might ok the 1990 remake because its a Savini film.

Edit: I'm an idiot Romero was a producer on the 1990 version. But that still leaves the 2006 version with nothing to do with Romero.

Is the new Day of the Dead already out, or something?

And for the record, I liked the Dawn of the Dead remake. How the fuck can you not? That shit was awesome. Who cares if they can run? It isn't overdone and, jesus fucking christ, you're arguing about realism in a movie centered on zombies. It's fun enough that you can oversee that, fuck off. Oh, and Ving Rhames? Jesus. Come on, now.

You know how I know you're gay? You have a foreign language category in your favorite films list. :shifty

I couldn't do a top 10, but these are some movies that I consider to be among my favorites (in no order):
Reservoir Dogs
The Shawshank Redemption
Goodfellas
Once Upon A Time in America
Matchstick Men
Se7en
A History of Violence
LOTR Trilogy
Star Wars 5 and 6
The Prestige
Requiem for a Dream
Batman Begins
Raging Bull
Superbad
Clerks

Recent movies I've really liked: Gone Baby Gone, Zodiac, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (I have no idea why this movie gets so much hate, it is easily the best of the three...), American Gangster, and Eastern Promises.
