--- Koda --- Suddenly there is nothing but Darkness. There are roars of anticipation, as thousands of flashbulbs cut through the seemingly endless black void. After a few moments of silence, the stage is ignited with a flurry of pyrotechnics, revealing a blue-lit stage blanketed in mist. Cats Foot Iron Claw Neuro-Surgeons Screams for More At Paranoia's Poison Door Twenty-First Century Schizoid Man! As the haunting voice of Ozzy Osbourne cut through the air, slowly from within the mist emerged the intimidating presence of the Seven-Foot Sensation, Koda. Trailing close behind was Mario "the Mind" Woosey, and none other than the dastardly King of the Commonwealth, Kalevala. Blood Rack Barbed Wire Polititians Funeral Pyre Innocents Raped With Napalm Fire Twenty-First Century Schizoid Man! The audience greeted the pair with the usual chorus of boos. Slowly marching down to the squared circle, the imposing Koda seemed poised to snap at any minute. It looked as if, despite the presence of both Mario and Kalevala, that they're control over the Monster was less than safely secure. Reaching the ring, Woosey and Kalevala cleared the way for the giant. Slowly climbing up the stairs, Koda slipped over the middle rope, and took his place in the center of the ring, ready to decimate any who dared share the ring with him. --- Serial --- The lights throughout the arena cut off, leaving the crowd in uncertainty. Suddenly, the familiar intro to “Earth People” begins to echo from the speakers, as the lights appear once again. As the rhymes of Dr. Octagon can be heard, Serial makes his way out from behind the curtains. Although the colors he wears vary from night to night, the Killa’ is never seen without his signature mask. The Zodiac’s Apotheosis proceeds to the ring, always focused on the task at hand, but always finds the time to slap a few of the audience member’s hands that reach out for him. The luchador jumps onto the apron and strides to the nearest turnbuckle. The King of the Crosshairs ascends to the second turnbuckle, raising his hand in the air, causing many camera lights to flash and the deafening crowd to erupt in elation. Announcer: Weighing in at approximately 102 kilograms. He stands 180 centimeters tall. He is the PROTESTED HEROOOO, SERRRIIAALLLLLL!!!!! Serial shows off his athleticism as he flips off the turnbuckle and lands on his feet, much to the enjoyment of the fans. The “Upset Special” goes to his corner as he awaits the initiation of the match. --- Good luck |

As the end of the night approaches, the audience settles into their seats for the second, of two, three hours of power semi-final match-ups. After an engaging evening of solid entertainment, it was up to two of PWA's young up-and-comers to keep the momentum of the show going. Before the onset of the match, the official ensures that both men understand the rules of the contest, and that neither possesses any illegal objects so that both men play fair. As far as Revolution Inc. was concerned however, these were merely suggestions of best practice, and if a certain opportunity presented itself there was nothing dishonourable about capitalizing on it; regardless of any moral dilemmas that should arise. Of course, seeing as how the Masked Marvel and the Masked Monster were quite familiar with one another behind the scenes and out of the ring, it was going to be interesting to see if there was any bad blood to boil over in this sure-to-be-entertaining semi-final encounter. Although acquaintances of one another, Koda and Serial have been on opposite sides of a few skirmishes and altercations in the past few weeks which undoubtedly raises the emotional stakes of tonight's encounter. Being the first time that the King of the Crosshairs and the Mountain of Madness lock horns, neither knows what to expect, which should make for an interesting confrontation between the two young bucks. Recently in the PWA, there has been a shift of focus from the older veterans to the younger, more vibrant talents working their way up the roster. This match is the exemplification of that shift, and it is a chance for both men to stake their claim as serious World Title contenders. Both men are making final preparations before the official calls for the bell. As always, the Disciple of Darkness Koda is being coached by his cousin Kalevala and bodyguard Nattie Neithard. Integral parts of Koda's success thus far, the Protested Hero will be looking to minimize the Revolution Inc. factor of this equation; hopefully 'carrying the one' to victory. As for the Big Man, his usual game plan of run and gun will not be as effective against an opponent with the size and speed of Serial, thus it will be interesting to see how he adapts. Staring across the seemingly endless stretch of canvas between them, the Disciple of Darkness and the Protested Hero glare into each other's eyes. Although calm on the outside, both men's minds were completely chaotic. With a thousand different thoughts running through each other's minds and the audience's roaring cheer growing louder and louder, it was difficult to focus. However as the referee made the signal, the soothing chime of the bell pierced through the very souls of the competitors, and cleared everything right up. Briskly moving towards the centre of the ring, neither man was eager to make the first mistake, and so they began to circle one another. It was going to take some time for both men to get use to the other's style, and thus it would be difficult to find the rhythm of the match. As they circle one another, Koda's slow, methodical pace is offset by Serial's peppery bounds. Sizing each other up, both men were facing unique challenges. It was going to take more than fancy footwork to triumph over the Walking Nightmare that is Koda, and it was going to require more than simply brute strength to ground the Incredible Incognito. After a few more moments of psychological warfare, the two decided to tango, leaning into a classic collar-and-elbow tie-up! Hoping to get off to a good start, the Killa' attempts to use his speed to his advantage to slip behind the Big Man. Standing his ground however, and preventing the much smaller man from doing so, Koda firmly keeps the tie-up locked in. Rearing slightly back, the Disciple of Darkness shoves Serial forward like a rag-doll, sending him tumbling backwards onto the canvas. Rolling over his shoulders and ending up on his knees due to the momentum with which he was pushed, the Protested Hero was not very pleased. Looking up to see the larger man flexing and grunting as a display of his physical superiority, the Intercontinental Champion became more motivated than ever to see the Silent Giant fall. Quickly hopping back up to his feet, Serial and Koda once again begin to circle each other. The Masked Marvel was very well aware that second chances are a luxury, and thus he intended to make the most of the situation. As they circle one another, Koda unexpectedly lunges forward and Serial is forced to narrowly dodge an attempted swat by the Big Man. Both men proceed to grin a bit; both of them were now ready to kick things off. Heading towards one another for another collar-and-elbow tie-up Serial manages to gain the upper hand this time around, ending up behind Koda, having adjusted his performance from the previous tie-up. Displaying some of his Luchador roots early on in the encounter, Serial connects with a forearm shot to the back of Koda's head, before running towards the ropes and spring boarding himself onto Koda's shoulders, before spinning around on the Big Man's shoulders and connecting with a beautiful, flowing Hurricanarana! Thrown for a loop (literally), the Disciple of Darkness ended up landing on his back, with his momentum carrying him into the ropes. Koda wastes no time turning over and getting back up to his feet, fearing that Serial was readying an attack. Luckily however, Serial was content with his situation. He was simply standing at the other end of the ring, with the capacity Nashville crowd of the memorial gymnasium chanting his name. The Masked Marvel was sending a powerful message to his opponent; one that was heard loud and clear. Slowly bending his neck to the side, Koda cracked the vertebrae in his neck, both as a form of intimidation, and as preparation to attack. Advancing towards one another for the third time of the night, the two men were demonstrating their greatness for all to see. Blending storytelling and skill, both of them are young and hungry individuals who, regardless of the outcome, were going to benefit greatly from tonight's affairs. Even so, they were both starving for a victory. Even before they reach the centre of the ring, the Masked Monster throws out his arm attempting to catch his opponent with a quick clothesline. Despite Koda's immense reach, Serial ducks underneath the telegraphed manoeuvre, and brings up a knee to drive deep into the Big Man's gut! Letting out a grunt of discomfort as he leans slightly forward, the Disciple of Darkness is more annoyed by Serial's knee strike than anything. Attempting to counter by throwing an elbow, Koda ends up knocking himself off balance, as the Intercontinental Champion ducks underneath that strike attempt as well. Using his size and speed, the Zodiac's Apotheosis unleashes a flurry of fists into Koda's rib-cage, before capping it off with another well-placed knee strike! This time however, the Big Man feels every fist connect, and has the wind knocked out of him by the final knee strike. Both a bit stunned and a bit hurt, the Disciple of Darkness remains motionless, as he holds his gut. Still within striking distance and remaining vigilant, Serial seems to be on stand-by; he didn't want to get a head of himself and so was being cautious. After a few moments Koda hunches over in pain, bending at the waste. This seems to re-invigorate Serial, who is quick to connect with a classic European uppercut, sending the Seven Foot Fiend stumbling backwards into the nearest set of turnbuckles. Showing early on that a keen wit and a desire to succeed can overcome even the greatest odds, the Protested Hero continues to lace into the Disciple of Darkness. Controlling the pace of the encounter, the Cruiserweight firmly grabs a hold of the top rope, before peppering the Big Man with another offensive flurry; stomping himself a mudhole. Hoping to build on his momentum, Serial grabs a hold of the Big Man's wrist and attempts to send him across the ring with an Irish-whip. Firmly planting his feet in the middle of the canvas, Koda has another agenda to follow as he reverses the whip and instead sends Serial hard into the corner. Slamming hard into the thinly padded steel turnbuckles, this was Serial's first taste of pain in the match, and considering who his opponent was, probably not his last. Taking off as fast as he could, Koda charges towards the cornered Killa', intending to throw a shoulder into his mid-section. Thinking as quickly as he moves however, the Masked Marvel managed to lift his boot just in the nick of time, and watches as Koda smacks himself across the face with it. Due to the impact with the Intercontinental champion's boot, the Silent Giant's head snaps back, causing him to turn his back on Serial and stumble out towards the centre of the ring. Seeing an opportunity to inflict some damage, the Intercontinental Champion quickly perches himself atop the turnbuckle. The King of the Crosshairs has a dazed Disciple of Darkness locked in his sights, and as Koda turns around to face his opponent, Serial takes flight, attempting to deliver a cross-body block! Once again however, the Masked Monster had another idea. Stretching out his right arm and clenching his fist, the Silent Giant ran forward and connected with a breath-taking clothesline, picking off the Intercontinental champion mid-air! Spinning through the air, Serial came crashing down onto the canvas face first, bashing his nose (amongst other things) pretty hard into the mat. Although clearly rooting for the Protested Hero, the audience could not help but applaud the athleticism and the quality of the entertainment on display here tonight. Sending himself to the canvas via the force of his own clothesline, Koda picks himself up, holding his injured ribs. The roars of the crowd are deafening, as Koda glares down at the completely decimated Intercontinental Champion. A Serial chant quickly breaks out, growing louder and louder as the moments pass. Already beginning to stir, the Protested Hero's will to win, and desire to prove that he's number one, was enough motivation to ignore the pain he was in. Not believing his eyes, the Big Man looks out into the crowd. Shifting his focus back onto his recovering opponent, Koda watches Serial push up off the canvas and onto his knees. With blood trickling from his nose, soaking down through his mask and over his mouth, the Protested Hero sent chills down Koda's spine with one look. Let the games begin. (OOC: Good luck Serial. Let's have a good one!) |

Every athlete that steps foot within the squared circle has aspirations, ambitions to one day be the best in the business. Not a single superstar can say that he does not want to be immortalized in history, and have a reign as Pojo Wrestling Alliance World Champion. It is as they say, a once in a lifetime opportunity, and for these two up and coming rookies, that opportunity is just two wins away from taking place. One of these two warriors will leave the Memorial Gymnasium just one step away from the chance to fight for the most prized possession in pro wrestling. If either man in the ring states that they were at a hundred percent flying into Music City, well, they were lying. Just last week, The Silent Giant went to war with one half of the World Tag Team Champions, the Unknown, Mr. Anonymous. The battle to advance in PWA’s most prestigious tournament ended via submission in favor of the Masked Maniac, Koda. Also that evening, the Intercontinental Champion was not in tournament action, as he was facing his fellow comrade in a one on one exhibition. Not too many wrestlers can gloat that their comrade is the current undisputed Champion and even less can brag that they were able to pick up a victory against the Champion. Whether it was due to the Patron Saint being distracted for a few brief moments, or if Serial truly was the better man, will be contested in many future conversations. This evening's semi-final dispute is well underway, and neither of the two phenomenal participators has been able to gain control thus far. The lights are shinning brighter than ever before, the cameras are flashing, the crowd is deafening and the stage is set. Every soul in the arena is prepared for a fight to the finish. Only one man can move on to the finals, and when bearing in mind the caliber of the two gladiators, this match may come down who wants it more… The blood continues to trickle down the mask of the Intercontinental Champion, with some even hitting the mat, soaking into the canvas. The crowd looks in awe as it does not seem to have any affect on the Incredible Incognito. He is focused not on the blood streaming out of his nostrils and onto his attire, but on the monster just a few feet before him. The mysterious monster not only wants to acquire his prized Intercontinental Championship, but his chance at the World Championship. Although all odds are against him, the heart of the Intercontinental Champion will not allow him to quit; Serial’s golden spirit will not die no matter the probability. Akin to a kamikaze pilot that has nothing to lose, the Masked Marvel rushes towards the seven foot monster and dives into the air mere feet before reaching his large target. The anatomy of the Disciple of Darkness is not capable of reacting prior to Serial’s attack, and the two feet of the cruiserweight crash into the stocky legs of the Masked Mauler. The missile dropkick causes it victim to stumble back into the three padded turnbuckles. The three hundred and forty pound ogre grasps onto the top ropes to prevent the impact from causing him to fall forward. Whereas Koda is occupied with maintaining his balance, the Masked Marvel is using his athleticism to his advantage; rolling up to his feet almost instantaneously after his body touched the mat. Similar to a vicious bull seeing red, Serial progresses towards his weary opposition finally congregating with a sharp Muay-Thai knee to the ribs of the Canadian Behemoth. In obvious pain, the former two time TKW World Champion leans forward out of instinct, slouching down to just about the Protested Hero’s height, leaving an evident opening for the Killa’. Without notice, the King of the Crosshairs tightly clasps his hands around the gargantuan head of his foe, successfully locking in his signature clinch. The fans rejoice as they have become acquainted with what follows, which is exactly what transpires. A multitude of knees rapidly strike the torso of the former Total Kaos Wrestling title holder, causing the normally unspoken fiend to shriek in pain. Even as the barrage of knife like knees pierce his midsection, the Mountain of Madness calmly reaches for his opponent’s hands and break the devastating clinch. Although when comparing the hand sizes, the luchador’s hands look miniature, the juggernaut power of the Revolution Inc. Monster is not enough to break the kung fu death grip that the Masked Marvel has currently in position. Not to be outdone by anyone, especially someone of Serial’s stature, The Big Man stands straight, lifting his enemy in the process and advances his python resembling arms around the back of the Cruiserweight, effectively locking his rival in a true power hold, a bear hug. Much like a python, the gigantic arms crush the undersized frame of the Incredible Incognito, as well efficiently shutting down any paths of oxygen. The trapped victim quickly realizes the unforgiving predicament he is in, and uses his peripherals to find the easiest route to freedom which is the nearest rope. The giant sized Canadian does not let up and continues to apply pressure with each moment that passes. Serial reaches for the nearest rope, but to his dismay and possible demise, his means to continued existence is nowhere to be found. With desperate times come desperate measures, and it is made known when Serial, a luchador with a martial arts influence, begins with his bare hands to scrape at the eyes of the Revolution Incorporated affiliate. Although it is not the honorable way to force the breaking of a maneuver, it works for the King of the Crosshairs, and it does give Koda a taste of his own underhanded tactics. The cruiserweight crashes down to the mat upon release, but The Silent Giant is not quick to pounce on the injured Serial as he is concerned with his own well being. The colossal Canadian staggers to his corner with the entire arena recognizing that his vision has been heavily affected. Fortunately for the former TKW Tag Team Champion, he has support waiting for him at his corner. The lovely Nattie opens a bottle water she had just grabbed moments before from a ringside fan, and pours the icy cold stream into the eyes of her superior. His trainer and boss, Kalevala, gives him words of wisdom as his eyes acquire cleansing. Moments later, the Big Man is ready once again to fight and turns directly around to find… a ring occupied only by the official for the contest. A dumbfounded Koda, looks to his left, followed by his right, but it is to no reward. Before the Masked Monster can turn behind him, he is hit firmly on the back of his skull. Before he can figure out what exactly made contact with him, he finds himself incapicitated on the canvas. Although the towering terror had no indication as to what struck him, his peers as well as the fans watching at ringside and around the world bore witness to the springboard spinning heel kick, that Serial has recently patented the “Unidentified Flying Offense.” The crowd erupts as Serial gets to his feet, and the confident Killa’ feeds off the sold out crowd as he strategizes his next move. Without a moment to waste, the King of the Crosshairs ascends to the nearest turnbuckle and in a single fluid motion dives off of the top turnbuckle. The Protested Hero lifts his legs high in the air, thus building momentum while in freefall. The soles of Serial’s footwear smash in the cranium of the former TKW star and the Incredible Incognito wastes no time in attempting a pinfall as he drops down to the mat. The Intercontinental Champion proceeds to hook the massive leg and await the tally of the official. ONNNNEEE!!!! TWWWOOOOO!!!! The loud awes fill the arena as the fans realize that Koda was able to get a shoulder off the canvas before the ever important three count. The Masked Marvel grimaces as the referee shows him two fingers obviously signaling a two count. A sigh of frustration leaves the mouth of the former Revolutionary before he lifts himself off of the canvas and to a full stance. Once at a standing position, the King of the Crosshairs lingers for the perfect moment to ambush his aching archrival. Normally the luchadore would lift his opponent to his feet and proceed to demolish the enemy, but tonight is a different case. Serial, who is a mere mortal, can not lift a monster with the amount of magnitude akin to Koda. Just seconds later the Mountain of Madness initiates the journey of getting to his feet, and the procedure begins with him first getting to a sitting position. Immediately the agile athlete ensues towards the ropes, but is abruptly interrupted by Kalevala’s buxom bodyguard, Nattie Neithard, who grabs hold of the Killa’s left foot, causing him to completely lose his balance and smash into the canvas. The deceitful tactics that Revolution Inc. is known for, buys Koda the time needed to fully recuperate from the damage he has received throughout the contest. Slowly but surely, the Ogre gets to his feet, but now he is even more dangerous as he is now rejuvenated and ready to deal more pain to his unlucky opponent, who just so happens to be a traitor to the Revolution. The former TKW title holder bends forward and grasps his competition by the fibers that hold his signature mask together. With the Incredible Incognito having no possible method to scurry, he is swiftly pulled up to a footing position. The monster winds up for the fatal blow, but before the execution can take place; the agile luchadore is able to commando roll out of harm’s way and to a safer position. Once again, the competitors lock eyes, as they are in a familiar situation… a stalemate. |

After a series of rather ardent exchanges early on in the encounter, it is surprising that neither man has yet been able to gain a significant edge over his opponent. Dead-locked yet again and readying to jockey for position once more, the Masked Marvel and the Masked Monster are quick to exchange scowls, before beginning to circle one another. Judging from the uneasy looks in both competitors’ eyes, they may have bitten off a little bit more than they could chew. Granted that these two gallant warriors anticipated a challenge, they never thought for a moment just how difficult the task of earning the victory would be. Although their fighting styles and techniques contrast heavily, there is one explosive quality that both men share; an ability to strike like lightning. Both men have the capability of putting away an opponent in the blink of an eye, given the right set of circumstances. Therefore the goal of each of the combatants is to arrive at their ideal set of circumstances as quickly as possible. However the only problem is that both wrestlers know this, and therefore complicate the matter for their opponent every chance they get. Thus this three hours of power semi-final encounter is really nothing but a glorified game of chess. Demonstrating some defensive prowess, the Protested Hero decided to err on the side of caution, and create some distance between himself and his gargantuan opponent; narrowly averting disaster. Now with some room to breathe, the Intercontinental Champion takes some time to re-assess the situation. Like-wise, the Disciple of Darkness Koda has the time to fully process his cousin Kalevala's advice, and hopefully to insert it into his offensive game plan. Separated by only a foot or two of canvas, the Killa' and the Mountain of Madness take turns swiping at each other, in an attempt to catch the other by surprise. As they prudently circle one another, it becomes clear that both men were a little worse for wear. Having received just as much punishment as dished out, the Silent Giant favours his ribs, and seems a little off-balance, having taken some substantial damage to his head and eyes. Although it appears as though with each passing moment the list of targets for the King of the Crosshairs to take aim at increase, on the other hand, the Masked Marvel also has a few more glaring bull’s-eyes for the Big Man to exploit. With blood still running down his face and a dull throbbing pain in his lower back slowly pulsing up his spine the Protested Hero remains defiant. Taking each other to the limit of their physical and psychological capabilities, neither Serial nor Koda were prepared to back down. Letting his emotion get the better of him the Big Man once again reaches across with a swipe of his open palm in an attempt to grab a hold of Serial, in hopes of getting right back into the thick of things, and erase the current stand-off from memory. Answering back with almost a reflex like motion, the Intercontinental Cruiserweight fires a shin into the gut of the off-kilter Koda. Instead of rushing headlong into the fray however, Serial opts to stand back and take aim once more; avoiding the possible repercussions of a game of possum. Grunting in pain, the Big Man seems frozen in time, remaining motionless. Apparently his mid-section was more tender than previously thought. Realizing that the discomfort was genuine, the Protested Hero once again resorts to kamikaze tactics as he rushes forward and throws a shoulder into the Big Man's gut, pinning him into the nearest corner. Firmly securing his grip around the middle ropes on either side of him, Serial rears back and begins a series of crippling shoulder thrusts! Considering the fragile state of Koda's rib-cage, the impact of each shoulder can be likened to viciously pummelling the Big Man with a sledge-hammer. Breaking his silence, the Giant screams in agony. In response to the hopelessness of the situation, the Disciple of Darkness cups his fists together and raises them high into the air, before thrashing them down fiercely into the Protested Hero's lower back. The axe-handle smash expedites the pulses travelling up Serial's spine, causing him an indescribable amount of pain. Falling to his knees and arching his back in an attempt to alleviate said pain, the Protested Hero opens himself up to further attacks. Seemingly forgetting where he was, the usual quick thinking Killa' fails to comfortably separate himself from the Disciple of Darkness, remaining literally at the Big Man's feet. Capitalizing on a rare mistake, Koda leans over and wraps his arms around Serial's waist, before pulling back and lifting the Cruiserweight easily onto his shoulders, setting up for what was undoubtedly to be a powerbomb. Electing to not immediately pull the trigger, the Silent Giant methodically pivots around, facing the corner. Much to the dismay of the legions of Serialmaniacs out in the audience, the Gargantuan Goon proceeds to slam Serial's neck and back into the thinly padded steel rings, executing a ghastly turnbuckle powerbomb! The borderline-illegal manoeuvre sends Serial down to the canvas, propped up by the turnbuckles, in a sitting position. Wincing in agony, the Masked Marvel brings up his arms and supports the back of his head and neck. Staring down at his victimized opponent through foggy windows, the Canadian Behemoth's vision remained significantly blurred. Taking a few moments to rectify the vision problem that could cost him the tournament, Koda shakes his head a few times before rubbing his eyes. Although that failed to do any good, there was no harm in trying, since Serial was currently not a threat. Moments away from reaching the aforementioned ideal circumstances that will enable him to put away the Protested Hero once and for all, the Disciple of Darkness could not help but smile. Reaching down and wrapping his right hand around the Masked Marvel's skinny little throat, Koda hauls Serial back up to his feet, keeping him firmly planted in the corner. Grabbing a firm hold of the Killa's wrist, the Mountain of Madness rears back, launching the Intercontinental Cruiserweight violently into the opposite corner. In fact, Serial had so much momentum behind him, that he was not able to turn his back to the turnbuckles, and instead ended up colliding chest first into the turnbuckles. Stumbling backwards towards the centre of the ring due to the impact, Serial had both his arms up, cradling his solar plexus; completely unaware of what was to come. Charging towards his stunned opponent as quickly as he could, considering the circumstances and injuries suffered throughout the tournament, the Big Man lifts up his Big Boot, slamming it stiffly into Serial's occipital bone, causing the Protested Hero to collapse face first into the canvas. The expected rainfall of jeers following the execution of the strike was right on time. Hating to watch their Golden-Hearted Hero fall to the Dispicable Disciple of Darkness, the audience was not shy about expressing their discontent. Approaching the less-than-incredible incognito, Koda was all smiles; as far as he was concerned, the match was over. He reaches down and grabs a hold of one of Serial's feet, and briskly flips him over onto his back; taking his sweet time. The flashbulbs begin to go off, as an almost sickening feeling of tension begins to rise dramatically. Still holding Serial's left ankle in his right hand, the Mountain of Madness reaches down and wraps his hand around the Protested Hero's throat, wanting to haul him back up to his feet, while preventing him from rolling out of harm’s way like he did previously. As soon as his hand touches Serial's throat however, the Killa's eyes flash open, and a pit quickly forms deep in the Silent Giant's stomach. Ripping Koda's hand off of his throat as quick as a lightning strike, the Protested Hero proceeds to wriggle his legs free, throwing them up and wrapping them around Koda's neck for the Cryptochoke! In the blink of an eye everything had changed. The crowd popped louder than a hydrogen bomb, and the blinding flashes of a thousand different cameras went off. You could almost hear the exasperated announcers calling out the name of Serial's stunning submission hold at the top of their lungs, taken completely by surprise. Koda struggles to pull free, but to no avail. The official quickly gets into position to make the final call, but Koda resists. As the crowd stands on their feet, Serial wrenches the hold in tight, and the referee waits for Koda to act, there is only one question to ask. Check or checkmate? |

The methodical approach that has been employed by the Protested Hero for the past seven months may finally pay off on this electrifying evening as the Cruiserweight turned Intercontinental Champion is just a few taps away from moving on to the finals of Three Hours of Power. As many spectators as Serial has impressed as of late with his numerous victories over immense stars in this federation, if he were to be triumphant in this semi-final contest, it would surely solidify his status in the Pojo Wrestling Alliance. The Masked Marvel has thought of the World Championship running through his head as continues to shut down the oxygen paths to Koda’s brain. The ring shakes as the Mountain of Madness progresses towards the bottom rope. The Revolution Incorporated component extends his gigantic arm towards the electric tape covered cable, but his hand is only able to stroke the canvas. The sold out arena looks on with severe purpose, as the Masked Monster no longer reaches for the rope, but instead holds his hand inches above the mat, signifying to every observer in the building that surrender is clearly on his mind. An uneasy Nattie sticks her arm over the bottom rope, acting as a helping hand to her operate in need. The strict official will not tolerate those unmerited actions during any contest but especially for the duration of such a prominent bout such as this tournament bout. The referee immediately becomes occupied with restoring order and removing the issue from the activity, but unbeknownst to the ref, he has fallen propitiously into the Revolution’s trap. With the administrator’s back turned to ulterior matters, the deviant still ensnared in his opponent’s submission attempt, follows through with an underhanded tactic. The seven foot giant slightly turns his head to his right and locks his jaw on the leg of the aggressor. The bite causes enough agony to force the Masked Marvel to relinquish the submission and tend to his pierced leg, which is made known from the bloodstain visible on his tights. The Incredible Incognito rolls away from his opposition and without delay clutches onto the gnawed leg. Meanwhile, the Silent Giant lays stationary on the mat, as he slowly recovers from the brutal Cryptochoke he was positioned in. The ref turns back to the competitors and can not help but have a look of confusion come across his face. He has no choice but to begin a ten count, deeply hoping for someone to stand, because if the match were to end via no contest, the thousands of audience members could become outraged which could lead to a riot. To no one’s surprise, the Monster is the first to get to a vertical base and like a guided missile, he goes directly after his target, Serial’s penetrated leg. The Monster initiates his offense by simply stomping on the cut limb of the Zodiac’s Apotheosis. Jeers and boos as well as a few derogatory comments fill the Memorial Gymnasium as Koda continues to work the injured leg of his much smaller foe. The Canadian Behemoth grabs the leg with a now bloody pant and delivers a bruising haymaker directly to the bloody spot, causing the Masked Marvel to scream in agony. The pain and suffering is far from concluding for the current Intercontinental Champion as Koda wraps the focused leg around the back of his neck; successfully locking in the destructive “Brock Lock.” The Mexican competitor cries in pain, immediately seeking an approach out of the devastating submission. Looking straight ahead he sees a nylon cord just about a foot away from him, the dilemma being that there is no way that he can budge towards it as The Masked Mauler has him secluded in the torturous position. The cruiserweight tries to dislodge from the maneuver but it is like trying to shift an entire planet. As the pain grows with every instant that passes, the King of the Crosshairs no longer has the intellectual thinking process, and can only on his natural instincts. His natural instincts tell him only one thing… survival by any means necessary. If the man behind the mask cannot break the hold, he can not survive, so the Incredible Incognito without a moment to spare, attempts to fight his way out the move. The Revolution’s monster does give in despite the fact that Serial is trying with all of his might and liveliness. Just when the situation begins to have that feeling of unattainably, and all hope within the mind of the Intercontinental Champion begins to crumble; a phenomenon transpires. The damaged competitor lifts his other leg off of the mat and connects what could be compared to an enzuguri. The heel of the Protested Hero strikes the face of the aggressor, causing Koda’s head to tilt back and break the hold due to the amount of pain received. Immediately, the Canadian Behemoth checks the condition of his covered face, and as he looks down at his hands, he sees he hands covered in blood. Members of the monster’s coalition as well as a good portion of the live audience look in trepidation, wondering what the consequences will be towards Serial’s actions. The source of blood is now revealed to be the nose of the former TKW Champion. The Silent Giant ascends to his feet, not with a look of nervousness or panic… but of hostility. The Masked Monster searches for his victim, but he is not anywhere near him. It is as if he disappeared off of the planet. And with the mood that the fuming fiend is in, it would be ideal for Serial to not be located anywhere on Earth. But the Intercontinental Champion who is located just outside the ring, well his tournament bid along with his livelihood appears to be ill-fated. The Monster’s associated immediately notify Koda of Serial’s locality, and the Monster walks towards the end of the ring with a look of determination. A determination to obliterate the man who turned his back on his alliance, the same being who just busted him open. In the mind of the beast, the traitor must pay, and be obliged to compensate tenfold. The former TKW World Champion exits the ring, but is met with a clothesline, not to his face, but to the back of his knees. Like a tower meeting it demise, Koda collapses to the thin pads places just outside the squared circle. It seems like the Champion still has some will left in him, and for all the fans watching the worldover, not all hope is lost... just yet. The official begins to count the two tourney competitors out... Someone has to move on to the finals... at this point, it comes down to who wants it more. |

As the referee counts, both men quickly begin to stir. They know how much is riding on this match and don't plan on giving up just yet. The Intercontinental Champion is to his feet first, which gives him a great advantage as he measures Koda off as he rises to a vertical base just moments later. With a swift kick to his abdomen, Koda reels over in pain, giving Serial a chance to put his adversary away for good. As if he were in the gym doing squats, The Protested Hero leans over and places his head and shoulders underneath Koda's body. Lifting with his legs to stand up straight, Serial begins pulls down on Koda's head and legs to apply a torture rack - a move fans are all too familiar of. With his stablemate screaming in pain, Serial looks to put his out of his misery. All in one motion, Serial flips his opponent over his head so that Koda's legs are pointing towards the rafters. Dropping to a seated position to drill the top of Koda's head into the canvas, Serial manages to complete the piledriver, which combined with the torture rack is known as the Serial Killa! Rushing to make the pin, Serial dives across his opponent's lifeless body and hooks his leg. 1... 2... 3!!! DING DING DING! Announcer: Winner of this match and moving on to the finals in the Three Hours of Power Tournament, SERIAL! Serial rises to his feet and throws his hands into the air as his theme song hits. PWA cuts to a commercial which the referee checks on Koda. |
