Not a lot of introductions needs to be done amongst these three. Sully and Indystar are long time rivals going back to TKW and ICW but now crossing paths in PWA. Rumor on the street is that Indystar is the one that got Sully out of semi-retirement and into PWA. Would he regret the decision should the Taoist ruin his chances of securing the IC title? We also have Serial who was a bitter rival but now a mutual friend of Sully. The King of Crosshairs does having a winning record against the Perfect Specimen but Sully has a perfect record entering championship matches as the challenger. Not only that but he won his last title in a triple threat match against Mr. Anonymous and Hellfire. Given these facts, Sully just might be the odds on favorite.

The bell sounds and all three men go into a stance. Each looking for one of the others to make the first move. After a full minute of anticipation, each man lowers his guard. Smiles and laughter are spread around. They all approach each other in the center of the ring and they same to be agreeing to have a fair fight but all is fair in love and war. Sully strikes his elbow across Serial’s jaw and drives a knee into the gut of Indy. He grabs both his foes by the back of the head and slams their heads together. It looks sort of like a Three Stooges routine. Both Indy and Serial have the little birdie floating around their head. Sully whips himself into the ropes and targets Indy with a shoulder block. Indy sprawls onto the mat and acts as a speed bump. Sully leaps over and instead gives the blow to Serial. The Masked Marvel falls out of the ring between the ropes. Sully might not have hit his initial target but it was better than nothing. The champ was out of the equation for now. Sully spent a moment too long waving bon voyage to Serial. Indy gets some vert and drop kicks Sully from behind. This sends him put to the floor to join Serial. Sully and Serial rise to their feet at the same time and start exchanging the blows. Serial seems to be gaining the upper hand in this battle but that victory is all he’ll have to savor. The Bridge City hero dives out of the ring into a senton splash onto both men. The move takes its toll on Sully and Serial but Indy sliced through both men and into the ring barricade.

Not necessarily carnage just yet. All three men are still fresh. Indy may have taken to the risk taking a tad too early. Instead of looking like the alpha dog he looks more like a mutt about to be disciplined as Serial rolls him into the ring. Serial grasps the mutt by the skin of his neck but the mangy mutt begins to kick and scratch at his bread basket. Serial subdues him with an European uppercut. Serial takes him for a walk over to the corner. He lifts him into a suplex and sits him perched atop the top turnbuckle. Serial jumps up there with him and looks for a frankensteiner but Sully interjects himself into the situation. He hammers onto the back of Serial until he retreats. Indy tries to grab ahold of Sully’s head but gets four knuckles to the jaw instead. The diversion from Indy allows Serial to set something up. He runs in and jumps on Sully’s shoulders, attempting a hurricarana. But Serial gets stuck there in Sully’s grasp. Indy sees a window open up. He jumps off the turnbuckle and nails Serial with a leg drop like a target sitting on a fence. Before Indy can recover to a vertical base, Sully grabs him and tosses him out of the ring. Indy kisses the outside floor. Serial is now left at the mercy of the Perfect Specimen.
There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come.

With the Indystar ejected from the squared circle, it leaves Sully alone with a man who he has had a history with. It wasn’t too long that at a Pay-Per-View by the name of Pandemonium, that these two met in a Lucha de Apuestas, where the Perfect Specimen fell victim to the barber’s utensils. Tonight, the Houston native has nothing to lose, and Serial’s Intercontinental title to gain. Wrecked from his recent title loss to the determined Streetz, a win this evening would surely put Sully back in the black. He has a losing record against Serial, but a phenomenal record going into a title bout which resembles this situation. The dilemma is that numbers do not achieve victory… skill does. A cautious Sully allows his former foe to his feet, knowing from past experience how dangerous the Incredible Incognito is on the ground. The two men circle the ring and grapple in the center of the combat zone. The two combatants struggle for superiority but it is meaningless as the most experienced of the three interrupts the party with a diving crossbody. The Toonster sneaked into the ring via a springboard off the ropes, catches both of his foes off guard. The successful aerial attack carries enough force with it to send all three warriors plummeting into the canvas. The live audience ponders who will make it to their feet first, but they are not left in confusion for too long as the Canadian gets to a standing position almost instantaneously. With the momentum of the contest now firmly in his grasp, the Bridge City Hero takes a moment to fire up the Brazilian crowd with a fist into the air and a thunderous roar. Indystar turns to see an almost standing Sully and he immediately takes action. Indy and Sully have a history dating back to other promotions which has resurfaced over weeks past. The pair of competitors recently have craved a chance at the Commonwealth title, but tonight both were instead given a superior opportunity, a shot at Serial’s Intercontinental title. The Perfect Specimen is the first to make contact with a sharp forearm shot to the face of the Canadian Smartass, causing the wily vet to stumble back. The Houston native clinches onto the woozy warrior and proceeds to Irish whip him to the ropes located parallel to them. Sully scurries towards the incoming Indy, attempting to greet him with another forearm shot. On this occasion it is not to be as the two hundred and five pounder is able to duck the offense attempt by the Taoist. As agile as the Third Best Saskatoon Warrior is, he is not able to put the brakes before being met with an STO by the Masked Marvel. The Darkness Falls, as Serial refers to it as, slams the thirty three year old into the mat, causing the back of Indy’s head to whiplash off the canvas. Without a moment to spare, the Killa’ lifts himself over the prone body lying asunder and makes the pin attempt. The ref’s count begins…

ONNNEEE!!!

But it does not make it past the initial count as it is disrupted by the boot of the third participant in the bout, Sully. Both of the challengers in this contest, while also in desire of the glory that comes with the Intercontinental title, want to take something from Serial. It was the current Intercontinental Champion who eliminated Sully and Indystar from the prestigious Three Hours of Power tournament in consecutive weeks. The opportunity that only comes once a year was stolen from them at the hands of the King of the Crosshairs. So for the two challengers, it isn’t all about honor and splendor, it is about revenge. Sully lifts the Champion to a standing position, only to double him over with a sharp knee to the abdomen of the Zodiac’s Apotheosis. Taking note of Indy’s revival, the Taoist strategically tosses Serial over the top rope, sending the luchador plunging to the outside. With only the exhausted Toonster left in the ring, the former three time Hardcore Champion commences his attack with a stiff, soccer-like kick to the jaw of the sitting veteran. The body of the Canadian flops down to the canvas, forcing the spectators to question whether Indy is in fact conscious. The former Commonwealth Champion does not care as he quickly ascends to the nearest top turnbuckle, trying to put an end to the contest as quickly as possible. Just as completes his journey to the top turnbuckle, he is shoved off causing him to plummet down hitting the steel guard rail before crashing onto the mats on the outside. The man who caused the steel collision for Sully wastes no time in climbing to the same destination as the Perfect Specimen. Unlike the competitor before him, Serial is able to dive off successfully. Building momentum during freefall, the Killa sets up for a double stomp, but instead of smashing the cranium of Indystar, he instead hits canvas. The impact caused on Serial’s knees cause him to almost lose his balance, although he did not fall he is sent to the mat via a roll-up by the experienced veteran. The crowd cheers in surprise as the official swiftly slides down to the mat and makes the count!

OONNNNEEEE!!!!

TTTWWWOOOO!!!!

THR—AWWWW!!!!

The crowd filters the arena with its mixed reaction as the Protested Hero was able to kickout before his title reign came to an end. A shocked Serial gets to his feet rapidly, not wanting any more surprises. The Canadian Superstar smirks as he knows he was mere moments from capturing the Intercontinental Championship. It wasn’t too long ago that the “Upset Special” pulled a surprise victory over Indystar with a quick shift of momentum. The two warriors exchange stares as they jock for position, each hoping to leave Brazil with the Intercontinental Championship. Which North American representative will leave with the title in this international showdown? There has been a veteran who has always tried to make someone famous. Is it finally time for the veteran, Indystar, to be FAMOUS in a positive aspect or is he doomed to be known only as a former champion of a title that no longer exists? There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come. Is the idea of Sully as Intercontinental Champion finally come? Is tonight the night Sully proves himself to be one of the best in the Pojo Wrestling Alliance or will their always be another who overshadows him? The Protested Hero was unstoppable until he tasted defeat at the hands of the Deamon. Will Serial prove his dominance once again or have his crushed hopes of the World Title devastated him to a point of no return? The conclusion of the aerodynamic Main Event is drawing closer, but who will be triumphant?

Serial and Indystar stare into each other's eyes. They both realize how close the match came to ending. Indy draws back his right arm and hits Serial with a forearm. Serial responds by drawing his right foot back and slams Indy in the stomach with a kick. Indy draws the forearm back again hoping to hit another shot, but Serial brings his arm forward to block it. He uses that same arm to wrap around Indy's chest, sweeps him forward, and throws him onto his back. The lights are out The Bridge City Hero is downed by Darkness Falls. Sully stumbles his way back into the ring after the hit to the guardrail and he's not looking so good. His eyes aren't seeing straight and he tries to head for Indystar for the cover. Serial meets him, and hooks his head in his right armpit. The King of Crosshairs points to the crosshairs on his mask, before lifting his foe up, rolling him in midair, and sending him down to the canvas. Both opponents are down, Serial gets the vertical press on Sully, and he looks to get the duke with the Protested Hero's Welcome.

Indystar's interference is mere moments to late as Kirk Fitzpatrick calls for the bell. The timekeeper hands Serial's title to the ring announcer, who passes it to the champion. He raises the belt into the air as we get the official word.

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen your winner by Pinfall, and STILL INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPION. THE PROTESTED HERO, SERIAL!

The Brazilian fans erupt, as Insanity fades to commercial.
