Tom Tyco stands opposing a man he's faced and beaten multiple times before. Their feud in 2007 is quite well known, matches where they exchanged the Intercontinental Title and of course for the finals of Three Hours of Power. Kyle Rieger still maintains to this day that he spit blood in the face of his foe just to taunt him, but the Ref and The Pick maintained it was inferno mist and that he needed to get DQed for it. Here we are, almost one year since their last match, and they will be fighting once again. Tyco does have an issue though, he may have faced Kyle “The Freak” Rieger, but this is an all new entity, an all new soul, and it is one that few have been able to handle. Tyco has size, he's most likely got strength, and he's got the fans, but the question remains is that enough. The ref calls both men to the center of the ring, he does a last minute check of each while going over the rules. The Deamon's mask changes when he stares at Tom Tyco, it may now be quite apparent that he's been waiting for this for a good long time. While the ref checks his foe Kyle slits his throat with his thumbnail, but Tom just shrugs it off. Kirk Fitzpatrick sends both men back to their corners, then sounds the bell, we're reading to start everything up anew. Each man heads to the center of the ring, circling around, looking for an opportunity to strike. Kyle reaches in, but finds no opening so pulls himself back before he can get caught with anything. Tom steps forward and tries to land a forearm, but The Deamon leans himself back so that all that is hit is air. Kyle extends his right arm out trying to toy Tyco into a knucklelock. Tom accepts and they interlace their fingers together. They lock up their right hands, and now we've got a classic test of strength. Each man tries to push the other down, jocking for position with the Greco Roman Knucklelock. The Human Rorschach gets the initial advantage, his aggression works and he manages to force Tom down to a knee. He continues to push his foe down, but he can't get him down to both knees and an advantageous position. Tom starts to feel the energy of the crowd in Tokyo, as it has been in the world tour, anyone facing Kyle Rieger, in any of his forms, gets the fans behind him. Their quiet demeanor leads to small claps but its enough to get him going, and he gets back to his feet and starts to be the aggressor. The Man-Beast forces his foe down to one knee, and then down to both. He continues to push and gets Kyle's shoulders down to the canvas. Kirk Fitzpatrick gets into position to count, 1...2 but there is an early and easy kickout but the lock is not broken. Tom releases one hand, flips Kyle over, puts a knee on his elbow, and turns it into an Armbar. Fitzpatrick gets into position to see if The Unpredictable Revolutionary will do the unthinkable and give up a mere minute into the match. Kyle doesn't even give him a response and instead uses his free hand and legs to push himself up off the canvas. Tom's knee loses its hold, and the armbar turns into a much simpler Wristlock. Kyle is happy that he got out of the original hold, but knows that continued damage to his arm will just weaken it for later on in the match. He rolls forward, hoping that Tyco will release it because of the momentum change, but he sticks to it. The Gargoyle it appears will not break this until he is forced to, either by the ropes or his opponent. The Deamon nips himself back up to his feet, and in the brief moment where Tom is confused gets behind him. The wrist is still being held, but now Tyco is starting to feel the pain via Hammerlock. He loosens his grip on Kyle's arm, hoping Kyle will let go of it, but he has his free left hand there to grab the arm and bring it up towards Tom's shoulder. There is a form of salvation nearby, the ropes are a few feet in front of him. He tries to maneuver towards them, but Kyle won't let him take the easy way out. He manages to drag The Pick back a foot, locks both feet onto Tom's left, and trips him up. The canvas greets Tom unflatteringly, and in the few seconds that Tom might have to get back up Kyle is already down with him. He wraps his right arm along the back of the head, locks the left arm around the side, and locks in a Cravate. Different holds, different pain in different areas, and the belief that a three legged table isn't worth anything to anyone, The Deamon is sticking with his philosophy of taking out extremities while working the head. He might be working up to hitting his Final Destination, and weakening the head down will pay off for that hand. Tom can already feel the change in his opponent, in the past The Freak would strike to wear somebody down, but this form, he senses a more sadistic side and joy in wearing a person down with holds. The Rorschach match has changed, a more calm visage appears on it, and The Deamon seems at peace. Tom starts to put his knees forward and work his way up to his feet. He pushes up with his hands and gets into a referee's position with the hold still locked in. He gets one foot flat on the ground, then the other, and is ready to plan out a path of escape. He might try for the ropes, or slip out of the hold and throw his opponent to the ropes, but he never gets the opportunity The Master of Mind Games however starts to play them early, he just releases Tom from the hold and heads back to his corner to discuss with Mario and Sarah. The Japanese fans clap loudly in appreciation for the chain wrestling of both men. Johnny: That does strike me as odd, Kyle Rieger had an opportunity to switch holds, he could've thrown Tom Tyco into the ropes, but instead he just let go of the cravate. I personally don't see any rhyme or reason with just releasing him. Donny: Kyle Rieger always has a plan, and I'm sure he's just planning for something bigger. Besides you and I have probably seen over a hundred thousand matches commentating over the years, traditionally Tom Tyco would've elbowed Kyle in the gut and the ribs and escape. Maybe he let go because he knew the blows were coming and didn't want to take them. Lets not forget, when he fought Serial, The Deamon I'm referring to, Serial got an advantage by working over the chest. Maybe that is an area where he's not the most comfortable with dealing in pain wise. Johnny: Interesting thought, and I'd like to thank the country of Japan for welcoming us with open arms during are world tour leading up to Summer of Sin. I wonder though, if these fans in Yokohama dislike Kyle Rieger as much as the other places we've been to. I cannot say I've seen anyone, besides the fellow Revolutionaries, that have supported what he did. The Deamon and The Pick both circle up in the center of the ring once more. God only knows what advice Mario Woosey gave to his boss, but with him and Sarah on the outside Tom Tyco is slowly realizing that he could end up playing against the numbers game. Kyle's slowly realizing that he might be evenly matched with his opponent technically, they might have similar speed and agility, and both men love to take it to the extreme. Kyle though has his trump card, this soul incarnation may not be a master of power moves, but he throws the hardest punches, boots, and headbutts like a second coming of Bruiser Brody. The men circle up in the center of the ring, Kyle extends his left arm out as a feeler to his foe, seeing if he can get Tom to bite the bait. Tyco is hesitant, they've tried this once before and it got both men nowhere, why should each of them go for it again. Kyle goads him on throwing out different insults until finally The Hardcore Legend does, and starts to lace his fingers up. Kyle draws back his right arm, balls his hand into a fist, and sends it forward while stepping into Tom's personal space. Tyco was not expecting the shot in the head, his head gets jarred back, his chin gets cocked up, and the single Roundhouse Punch may have turned the tide. The shot causes Tyco to release the knucklelock, which in turn results in Kyle drawing back his left hand, making a fist, and sending it slamming into the forehead of Tom Tyco. The slugging southpaw Punch starts to redden below Tom's hairline as he slowly comes to the realization that this is indeed a new animal that he's facing. Kyle looks towards his dazed adversary and slaps himself in the head a few times to work out the kinks. He bends his right arm, raises it over his head, and slams the point of it down onto Tom's forehead. He continues to draw the elbow back, slamming it in repeatedly above his brow. He wants to work that same area, starting to show some bruising and becoming darker crimson with each and every shot. The point of the elbow is one of the hardest areas of the body, and Kyle knows that each shot with it will lull and daze The Pick into a delusional mindset. After five shots Kyle starts to spin his hands in a circle. Its a throw back to the heyday of the NWA, fans of The American Dream Dusty Rhodes recognize the first taunt. He stops the spinning and lets out a primal scream, throwing in his own twist to the move, and plants a final blow of the forehead of Tyco. Tom's head is really showing the excessive redness and bruising, but he's still standing after the Bionic Elbow Combo. Outside the ring Mario Woosey looks a bit shocked, his man's opponent has taken all this abuse to the head, and he's staying up on his feet. The Deamon's mask shows no change, he could care less how his opponent has the gumption to stay up, because it will end up being all for naught. Kyle takes a few steps back from his wobbling foe, and slits his throat with his thumbnail. He takes a step forward before rotating his entire body. He spins three-hundred sixty degrees while bending his right arm back. He finishes the rotation right in front of Tyco and uses that momentum to send his forearm and elbow into the forehead of The Pick finally sending him to the canvas. The Camera's catch it first, then the ref and Kyle, soon everyone sees the blood start to flow from the forehead of Tom Tyco, and it is flowing fairly fast. The Human Weapon revels in it, in the past he's done the same, and once again Tom Tyco is showing the crimson mask, this time via Roaring Elbow. The Deamon immediately goes down to the canvas with his foe, flips him over, and starts to grind his head into the canvas. The blood spreads around and starts to stain the mat, and Kyle is just showing ultimate disrespect to his foe. He doesn't just want to win, he wants to smite the man that he had much trouble ever getting the better of. The normally reserved fans start to boo the action, either out of dislike for the showmanship aspect or because they think Kyle Rieger is acting out of line. Kirk Fitzpatrick heads down and starts to count. 1...2...3...4. Kyle stops, calmly rises to his feet, and says in his disjointed tone, “I have TILL five, KIRK.” Kirk backs away, not wanting to endure the wrath of a man who'd happily get disqualified to ensure more punishment. Kyle grabs Tom by the arm and raises him back up to his feet. He throws him into the corner where Mario and Sarah stand, possibly for backup for the move. He calmly walks to the opposite corner, then starts to run towards his foe. It appears The Supreme Sadist is not done working on the head, as a moment before impact he raises his right foot into the air and it collides with the head of Tom Tyco. His neck snaps back viciously, and that momentum causes him to fall forward. The Deamon thinks he might have had enough, and goes for the vertical press while hooking the leg, expecting it to end after the Yakuza Kick. |

Kirk Fitzpatrick is in position, he starts counting the pin. Sarah Death Rey gets handed something by Mario Woosey mere moments before Kirk heads down and can see the exchange. 1...2... Tom Tyco gets his foot on the ropes, but Mario is right there to try and push it off. He looks like he's going to but he sees Kirk and backs away. Kirk catches the foot and Woosey close to it, he stops the count and starts to yell down at Mario. The Deamon mask changes and Kyle Rieger appears angry, he goes to the adjacent corner, sits down, and thinks about the rest of the match. Mario hops up on the ring apron and argues back, “I didn't touch it at all, I'm not that kind of cheater. You're just being biased because we're not PWA wrestlers. You think I'm some fifty cent TV Dinner eater. I'm not stupid enough to do that in front of you Kirk.” While the men argue Tom Tyco is working on getting back up. He hooks the ropes in the middle of the ring and starts to pull upward. Kyle meanwhile gets the pass off from Sarah, lifts the bottom of his mask up, and pours something from a bottle into his mouth. Tyco didn't see it, the ref is distracted, and everything is in position. Tyco makes it back to his feet, The Supreme Sadist is ready, and through his gapped grin blows something out. The fans can't tell what's happened the bloodstains across the face hide everything and now The Pick seems to be in serious pain. Kyle just laughs, like in the past with Tom Tyco, he's resorted to the Inferno Mist, and it appears to have worked out. Tom staggers to the middle of the ring, swinging wildly, while his opponent hits the ropes. He hooks the top and lifts his legs up, waiting for an opportunity. He sees a perfect moment, Tyco is rubbing his face, trying to stop the burning, and he goes. He slingshots from the ropes, extends his right arm, and floors him. Tyco is knocked cold, it seems like his head and neck couldn't take any more abuse. Mario Woosey stops his verbal sparring, knowing his charge has the match in hand after the Rebound Lariat. Kirk Fitzpatrick has no idea what has happened, and there is no evidence because of the blood. The Human Weapon is ready to end it all, he lifts Tyco back up to his feet, then gets underneath him and raises him up to his shoulders. Kyle crosses his arms, straight jacketing him, before slitting his throat with his thumbnail. He hurls his foe over, cradling him and letting him land square on his head. Kirk goes down again and starts up the count. It is purely academic, Tom Tyco has reached The Final Destination, Remix Edition. 1 2 3! Announcer: The winner of the match, by pinfall, THE DEAMON KYLE RIEGER. Kyle gets up from the cradle, to get his hand raised in victory. Mario Woosey and Sarah Death Rey both make their way in to celebrate with him as we hear from Johnny and Donny. Johnny: There had to be something in that mist. You don't think, no, he wouldn't. I think he just gave Tom Tyco the Inferno Mist. Over a year ago he did it to try to make the finals of Three Hours of Power. Fitzpatrick recognized the signs then, and DQed him. Donny: Yeah, but this is a different night. Tom Tyco was bleeding profusely, it could've just been blood, it could've been water he misted, we don't know. Maybe he did it as a form of redemption, he and Tyco have had troubles in the past, maybe he wanted some payback. Johnny: But he had the match firmly in his hand after his offensive barrage. I personally think he could've won without it had he just wrestled properly. This isn't right, ITS A MISCARRAGE OF JUSTICE. Donny: Easy there Gorilla. Kyle Rieger doesn't have to explain his actions to anyone, he took a risk, it paid off, so what. He got another victory on the road to Summer of Sin, and I don't think he gives a damn about how he gets there. We'll be back folks. |
