Dear Camp Parents, CSA Palm Harbor Parks & Recreation has a unique opportunity to travel to the Walt Disney World Resort this summer with our camp programs. After an awesome trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago, our campers have asked for another adventure to Disney, this time taking in the sights and sounds of Hollywood Studios. Through Disney Youth Programs, we have highly discounted tickets. We will be traveling to Hollywood Studios in our two camp vans, driven by our full-time staff members. Since we are limited with seating for this trip, we will be taking only a maximum of 18 campers at this time. There will be four adults traveling with them, including myself and three of our camp staff. Please note that this is an optional trip and is open to all participants in all summer camp programs, not just Camp Adventure. Camp will still occur "as usual" at all camp sites on the day of the trip. This trip is recommended for ages 8 and up. Parents, please use your judgement in knowing if this trip is appropriate for your child. Date: Wednesday, August 6, 2014 Departure: Meeting at the Community Center at 7AM and LEAVING promptly at 7:15AM. Return: We are leaving the park at 6:30PM. We should arrive back at the Centre around 8:30PM. Cost Per Camper: $100 ($35 for WDW Passholders). This includes transportation, light snack, full lunch at park, dinner off-site and park admission. What to Bring: Disney does allow for small backpacks… but remember, camp staff will not be responsible for the items and will not carry them!!! What to Wear: Campers may wear flip-flops if they wish – but wear a hat and bring/wear sunscreen!! **SIGN-UP IS FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED. SPACES ARE LIMITED!! REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, JULY 30 AT 5:00PM. In order to confirm your registration, please call the Registration Office at 727-771-6000 and they will take your payment over the phone. A $20 down payment is required to register, with the full amount being paid by July 30 at 5:00PM. Please be advised that our staff may not allow a child to participate in this trip due to behavior displayed during camp programs. Due to the environment we will be entering at the park, it is imperative that we have children on their best behavior as to represent Palm Harbor well and not cause a disruption among the other campers.
