The name Coldmetal comes from my days as a fighter pilot with the Canadian Forces. It was my codename, and oddly enough was the only non-animal name out of me and my 5 "friends".

I am lucky enough to be married and to have a wonderful, hilarious daughter (From a different relationship).

I am also very happy to say that our second daughter, Melina Ayanami, was born on the eighth of August.

I, for all extensive purposes, am a proud Canadian. However, I have citizenships in both Ireland and Scotland at the moment, although I don't think I've ever had to use them. I may also be an American citizen, as on my birth certificate it says I was born in America, but other than that I have no other evidence towards it.

I have lived in Canada almost all of my life. For the most part I have remained in Saskatchewan, but for a few years I lived in Toronto to go to university. Outside of Saskatchewan and Ontario, I have spent significant time (Like, 3 months at a time) in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, as well as Virginia and Washington. I have spent about 3 summers worth of time in Amsterdam, so I consider it a "home-away-from-home".

I have two sisters. Domino, who lives in Vancouver (And is a total bitch and makes watching the movie Domino very akward), and another sister, Jasmine, who lives in Seattle (Oddly enough, I didn't know either her name nor location till about two months ago) Back in the day, I had a third sister - Rachel Alexandria - but she died when I was young of a heart condition (More on that later). In honour of her, I named my daughter after her.

I speak English, as you can plainly see. Back in the day I was being taught to speak Irish, but it never took. Currently I speak fluent German, even though I don't think I'll ever need it.

A little known fact about Coldmetal is that there is a big diffrence between Coldmetal and Dylan; the computer personality and the person behind it. The person behind CM is, in fact, more or less a very dark and sad person (Numerous suicide attempts and years of drug abuse will do that to you). He is more sophisticated than CM, and actually knows how to spell mabye. I've been told by Fishy, Bloo, and Taryn that the real me is very diffrent than CM me.

The Basics

The colors are as follows:

Mon: Green
Tues: Blue
Wed: Purple
Thur: Orange
Fri: White
Sat: Normal color
Sun: Silver

Piercings: HAHA! No.
Tattoos: I have around 9 tattoos on my arms and back. I got my first one when I was 18 (Me and my friends each got a tattoo the day we got accepted into university). I got this little feller Posted Image on that day, on the back of my neck (Incase your all wondering, that is the face of Sachiel, an enemy, from Neon Genesis Evagelion. It's one of three NGE related tattoos I have). I have a large tattoo that covers my back, as well as (mostly) people's names on my arms. I have a tattoo on the back of my bottom lip, but what it's of is for me to know and you to find out. My most recent tattoo is of the last stanza of The Lady of Shallot...

Quote:

Who is this? And what is here?
And in the lighted palace near
Died the sound of royal cheer;
And they crossed themselves for fear,
All the Knights at Camelot;
But Lancelot mused a little space
He said, "She has a lovely face;
God in his mercy lend her grace,
The Lady of Shalott."

It's located on my back.

Throughout my life I have been injured quite a bit, so much infact I can no longer fly for the army anymore.
The last ten years has brought these upon me...

Broken my jaw
Broken my wrist 8 times (Enough times that I hardly have any strength in my left hand)
Broken my leg 3 times
"Snapped" my leg in two (The infamous "Bridge Jump")
Broken my ankle once
Broken my arm 4 times
Broken my ribs countless times
Boken my hands and toes countless times
Sprained my neck well over 15 times
Suffered from approximately 150 concussions
Broken 3 teeth
My lower back "cut" to pieces by barbwire

Most of those injuries came from "backyard wrestling" my friends. Also known as hitting each other with objects and jumping off of stuff. We're idiots. I know. The broken jaw, however, came from not looking where I was going. I walked into a ladder.

Being in the army, I have only had to serve once, in Haiti. Thankfully, I was not killed, although while there I saw many things that no one should have to see.

Oddly enough, I've only been shot once, and it was by my friend on a hunting trip.

Regretably, I was born with a weak heart. It's the same kind of thing that killed my sister, only not to such a degree. Basically, my heart is too weak to continue to pump blood through my entire body, and in about 10-15 years it will just give in. Even sadder, on March 23 I have surgery in Vancouver to keep it going for those 10-15 years. And before you ask, I will not get a pacemaker.

And I've been told by my doctor that if there are any "complications" during said surgery I will not live past 28. So lets all pray for your dear Cold!
