ok so i was watching the bonus feature on the dvd, with the wonderful world of color thing, and i was noticing the scene with the skeleton drinking and the rum(?)going straight through him. like in the scene from the movie with barbossa under the moonlight for the first time. i was in disneyland last summer and the summer before that, went on the ride, and in the caves, i don't remember seeing that in there, however i do remember it from my early early childhood, so does anybody know if thats still in there, and was still in there?

There is a skeleton in the Paris version, but I don't think he drinks rum.

No, I'm pretty sure he just sits on a big pile of money.

And I'm almost positive there is nothing like that in the Florida one.

The Florida one is lame. It is too short and too much is missing, including are wine-drinking friend. (I can say this because I worked at Disney World last fall but grew up going to Disneyland. The POTC ride in CA is definitely superior.)
