I like a bit of gore (I'm playing Gears of War at the moment) but I just felt that with Persia: Revelations it was just gratuitous. They made Sands of Time without resorting to that kind of teenager-oriented crap, why change it so drastically?

Well, when they made Sot I don't think they were aiming for it to be so big.

Once everyone had Prince of Persia fever they made Warrior Within cater to all the dumb Xbox gore-loving teenagers. and since WW wsan't that successful, I think they got the message, cause the Two Thrones was more like SoT. And it was alot better than WW to boot.

I did hear that, I haven't played Two Thrones though. I'm planning on a spending spree in Game Station when I'm in Wales so I might pick up a pre-owned copy cheap. Apparently Game have an offer on Viva Pinata this week so I'll probably get that as it looks like a fun little game (and my other half really wants to get it).

I used to play games a lot, but for some reason i almost stopped. Luckely i'm getting back into gaming more and more. I will definitly after buying myself a new pc because somehow i don't like consoles because of the controllers. I can't handle them anymore eventhough i owned everyone on every nintendo (8bit) game. Back when I was a kid I had a copy of Prince of Persia on my computer. I loved it so much. I played it for hours on end.

Now that was a long time ago but I remember that. For some reason computerscreens back then only showed an orange-ish colour. Still i thought the game looked amazing, even more so when compared to other games at the time.
Sometimes, when having to climb a ledge, i let the prince just hang onto it for as long as possible, just to savour the moment of him actualy scaling it, because the animation was so realistic!

Currently I have on it the Diablo II expansion (Lord of Destruction),

Ever played that online? I used to play that far to much, i can still mind almost every detail of the game and the best ways to play it. (actualy, i have that with all games i played, my memory is crap when coming to important appointments for example, but those game things i remember grr! <_< )

The genre i enjoy the most are action/adventure, rpg's and strategy games. For example, Baldur's Gate, Sim City, Battlefield, Diablo C&C or Total war.
Genre's like sports are lost on me... why simulate something you can just get up and do? (real thing is always better right?)

For all you 360 owners, check this out.

WTF?

Microsoft is adding MSN Messenger to Xbox 360s this spring, and that is one of the many things that can come with.

It plugs into the headset slot, I believe.

Doesn't it look a little... uncomfortable to anyone else? I mean, having a keyboard hanging off your controller...
