So, did you see any of those movies that scared you so much you didn't dare to sleep? :fruit:
For me that'll be the Exorcist, actually I think I just was to young when I first saw it, but that one really freaked me out, I even had nightmares. Movies with devils and things you can't see always scare me, but still I like to watch them <_<
And there's Alien 1 and The thing, great films but when I saw them I looked under the bed before I went to sleep

Which movies scared you? Or are you never affraid of anything? :nono: I don't believe that!

I'm a hard person to scare, but some films have really gotten under my skin at times, sometimes I'll say a film is creepy or freaky, but for scary, the most of which I've seen in recent years after moving into the realm of foreign horror, Audition is easily the scariest film I've ever seen, followed by High Tension because it looked so real when people were getting killed, there have been some classics which got me, The Thing, ooh, those effects really scared me first time, and still do today sometimes, Alien which at the time I saw it, about seven or eight, it was like nothing else and it definitely scared me a little, although I was brave and stayed with it, I liked being scared by that, I was a weird kid and still am weird, and one which is a bit weird but The Shining, the reason it's weird for me is that one time I'll watch it and I'll be in fear and want the family to live, the next I'll be laughing and want them to die, it's Jack's performance, it can go either way, just to add one more but the end of Halloween, not the whole film, just the ending, that got me too, the music and that guy just coming back all the time.

That's the ones, sometimes I'll say a film is creepy and to list all those would take ages, but I think that's all I'd say are actually scary.

Just to go with the not being able to sleep thing, but Star Trek II, first time I saw that I got the weirdest idea about things crawling inside my ears, made it very hard to sleep, I'm pretty sure there was another film which had the same effect on me, I just can't stand the thought of things getting in there, maybe to do with that film, if I see a bug in my room before sleeping I won't be happy until it's dead, if I can't get it then it's a cushion to protect my ears.

I am a big freaker-outer when it comes to movies, so I don't watch that scary ones, or if I do, they aren't that scary or they are starring Johnny Depp (lol) so, my list of scary movies is probably silly compared to everyone elses lol.

the scariest scary movie ive seen is "they", it was realllyyy creepy and it was at a halloween party so ahh! i totally was afraid to be alone in the dark after that lol, always flipping on the lights and stuff. that to me was a freaky movie and i didnt really like it all that much.

Scary movies that I really liked that were more creepy than scary were "The Glass House" (starring our very own Bootstrap Bill) which I loovee, that is one of the best movies, and of course "Secret Window", that is a greatttt movie of course with Johnny Depp  , "red eye" which i totally jumped in my seat at the end but that was bloo's fault, and "joy ride" which omg, be really careful who you're pissing off, that is scary realistic stuff. freakkyy!

also, i remember when I was like 8 and i saw "ghostbusters" lol that was the first movie i was really afraid of.

I ADORED Red Eye, Cillian Murphy is GORGEOUS. I watched The Glass House for the first time last night and I was like THAT'S BOOTSTRAP BILL!!!!!! It was sooooo cool to recognize him! And Secret Window is a personal favorite because I LOVE Stephen King.

Hmmmm the scariest movie I've ever seen........I saw The Ring 2. And I physically jumped in my seat more than once.

I scare pretty easily.. I'm a rather jumpy person in general. I joke and tell people I was a chiuaua in a past life. A little nervous dog. Thats me.

Movies that scared me.. Jeepers Creepers, cause it scared me more than any other movie I think. I have no idea why it scared me so bad, but it was bad enough that for the longest time I couldn't even watch an advertisement for it on TV. I'd have to change the channel.

The Ring freaked me out a bit too. After I saw it I couldn't go to sleep unless the TV in my room was covered with something. Then I realized my TV was far too small for Samara to crawl through, and the mental image of her getting stuck half way and needing help, amused me so much that I wasn't scared anymore.

Psycho was kinda freaky, but not horribly so. But after I saw it I couldn't take a shower if I was alone in the house. I had to have someone else in the house with me.

I get more scared by reading ghost stories online, which I've leaned not to do late at night when I'm awake by myself. >.>

Not a lot really scares me anymore, except zombies, they can still make me hide behind a cushion.

I was really disapointed by exorsist, didn't scare me one bit, never been so let down in my life!

Omg Zombies! O_O

Actually, zombies don't really bother me too much. The only "zombie" movie that bothered me was 28 Days Later, and those weren't even real zombies, they were still alive. But the entire concept just freaked me out.

Not much scares me so far as movies are concerned. I don't think that since I started watching "scary" movies that I've found one that actually scares me.

When I was younger Freddy Krueger freaked me out quite a bit; but after I actually watched the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, I actually found him more funny than scary.

I remember when I was a kid the only two things in movies that scared me were the creepy talking skeleton in The Last Unicorn and Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I was a kind of odd child.

 It's okay, I don't think you're weird. Judge Doom scared me when I was a kid, too.

Since I became... I dunno, about 11 or 12, nothing I've seen has really scared me. *shrug* I think the scariest movie I saw was The Ring, but it didn't really scare me. More I objectively was like, "Oh, that's a scary film," if that makes sense.

I hated Roger Rabbit as a kid because of Judge Doom. I also saw parts of Ghostbusters 2 when I was, like, 4 years old. I haven't seen it since then, but I still remember the part when the pink goo comes out of the bathtub faucet and tries to steal the baby. And the bear-looking guy coming out of the picture. :o

Yeah, but more recently...Red Eye was intense but not creepy. Secret Window was bad news. I never should have seen that movie. The last movie I can remember keeping me awake at night... Well, I saw Beetlejuice on Halloween my freshman year of high school, and that night I had to sleep with my booklight on because I was too scared!

Oh, and my friend told me the whole movie of The Ring, and that was scary enough! I just don't really go see scary movies because I don't like to be scared. I prefer suspense.
