Haha, I'm also a very jumpy person. I screamed very loud when a plastic mummy came out of nowhere on Tomb Blaster this afternoon Anyway, that's why I try to stay away from horror movies. A movie that definately gave me nightmares was....wait for it....The Hole. It didn't necisarily (Good grief, that is hard to spell) scare me....but it kinda disturbed me...the fact that she could just let her friends die like that...ugh *shudders* |

The part in the Shining where she runs up the stairs and she sees the man in the dog/bear suit. Not scary, just freaks the crap out of me. I saw the Exorcist when I was a younging. Scary movie. If you want to see a disturbing movie, go watch Jacob's Ladder. Lots of strange things in that movie. |

Snakes on A Plane scared me, but not because it was scary. It was just all the times those snakes lunged at you unexpectedly, even though you were expecting that to happen!!! The first movie that really scared my was jeepers Creepers. I was like, 6 and I think it was more of the idea that scared me. |

Texas Chainsaw, original or remake? I like both, the original was actually a bit scary, but the remake isn't as annoying, acting is better and there's no continuous screaming woman falling over instead of running away, but then again that version lacks the Grampa scene from the original which is the scariest part of it all. |

The Grudge is the only movie which ever made me sleep with the light on. It's not a very good movie but it scared the **** out of me! The kid, the roaring noise... I completely freaked out when the woman crawled down the stairs!
They'll have to pay me if they ever want me to see the Grudge 2.

Alright I know that this is really corny but there are only two movies that have ever really bothered me... and only one of them for more than a day. When I was 6 I saw Ghostbusters and it scared the CRAP out of me. I had to sleep in my parents room for a week! And after that I had difficulty sleeping in my own room for about two more weeks. The other one was "Signs" and that was only on the night my wife and I went to the theater to see it. We had just moved into our first apt and were sleeping on a twin air mattress and there was nothing else in the apt. And since it was our first or second night in the apt and I have difficulty sleeping in new places I was awake for quite some time and thinking about the movie. Probably not good because I kept thinking I saw movement outside the bedroom door everytime I thought about the scene where you first see the alien on TV at the birthday party. But I was fine after that night. Oh yeah, I also had some difficulty after the first time I saw Gremlins, They showed it in school! To a bunch of 9-11 year olds! So yeah, those are the only ones that ever really bothered me |

That part freaked the hell out of me! Holy shit! It's not even that scary, it's just really, really disturbing. Every kid saying they see something behind the bushes and then it runs out... The thing that makes it most effective is it could actually pass as a home video. just imagining that happening to me in real life freaks me out. |

I'll be the third person to confirm that that scene's a bit...unnerving. Lol! It's actually strange how it works. OK, here's what freaked me out when I was little. I can't remember how old I was but I think I was younger than 10. My brother-in-law was watching a movie at our house. (My sister is 11 years older than me, in case you're wondering :D) The movie he was watching was the first or second Terminator, I forgot which one, and at a certain part he stretched out his arm so his hand could be in my line of sight. I was sitting on the couch and he was sitting a little bit closer to the TV, so I was able to easily change my head's position to see the TV again. I wish to this day I didn't. ![]() It was the part where a woman had a premonition or something about a coming nuclear bomb...or something. I don't think young children should see flesh stripped off a person leaving only bones. That night I couldn't sleep in my room, I slept in my mom's room. And for the next few weeks or months I checked the livingroom clock whenever I heard an airplane flying over the house, just to see if it's a scheduled flight. ![]() I can still not watch that movie to this day. |
