Xena sounds happy compared to Callisto, that little "ai-ee-ee-ee-ee" sound isn't really that scary, it sounds cool, but I don't think it puts fear into people when she does it during battle, if Callisto did her growls during battle everyone would get so scared they'd run away. :lol She should have had a brand, after three people who look like her she'd need something so people could tell the difference between them. :wild1:

No, Xena's yell isn't really scary in and of itself. It's more just knowing that it signals that Xena's coming that makes it scary, like if you heard a bell every time right before somebody stabbed you, pretty soon bells would sound scary. But, really, Xena's yell is just... haha, it's artistic, whereas Callisto's is primal. Yeah, I'd probably run away if I heard Callisto's yell... course, I'm not a fighter, so I'd probably run away even from Joxer, lol. Yeah, I mean, Xena did travel around a lot, from Britain to Japan, so if she had a double out there she'd find them, but all her doubles were in Greece, she didn't really have to travel to find them. Meh. Wonder how many more she would have found if she had been able to visit the Western Hemisphere.

I'll try and catch them, but the channel's stopped showing Xena during the week, I saw yesterday, they're showing Cops instead, of all the things to replace Xena with! I think they're still showing it at the weekends, so I'll try to see it. :( Xena and Gabrielle were doing stuff to each other? and I missed that? :o I'll have to try and see, I think that's something I need to see!

They stopped showing Xena!?!?! :o They're evil! Psh, Cops. I don't really like that show. My mom loves it, though, so I see enough of it. *sigh* It's just so boring. The vast majority of the time they're just sitting there getting the story of what happened and booking the person. It needs more car chases and fights, lol. Ooh, yeah, season 3 Xena and Gabrielle got seriously mad at each other. Gabby's daughter killed Xena's son and Gabby betrayed Xena and warned a person that Xena was trying to kill that Xena was coming. Xena killed a person even though she told Gabrielle that she hadn't and took Gabrielle to Britain where a bunch of bad stuff happened to her. Yeah, they were both REALLY mad at each other. Ooh, but if you never saw The Bitter Suite that means you never saw the Gab Drag! It's awesome! Xena drags Gabrielle behind her horse. It rocks, lol.

I know lots about Shaun of the Dead

I know about Shaun of the Dead

I love Shaun of the Dead! I love how he's really just an average shmuck. It makes the whole thing extraordinary and yet mundane at the same time, which is awesome. I also love how at the beginning they do these fast clips of things (not sure I'm really explaining it well) of, like, when he's getting ready for work, but then when things go all haywire they use the same technique for them preparing to fight zombies, lol. Felt sorry for Shaun's mom, though... not really any of the other characters who died, though, lol. I do absolutely love it, though, when the guy wants to shoot Shaun's mom. That scene always cracks me up.

Steven, you're cool, but "OMG CITIZEN KANE IS BORING BECAUSE OF IT DOESN'T HAVE MATT DAMON!"

Who said that? and I don't watch films for Matt Damon, in fact I can't really take the guy seriously now after Team America, I couldn't really before it but now whenever I see him I can't help but go "Matt... Daaaamoooon!"

I guess sounds can get scary over time, but since Xena leaves most people dead and she goes from one place to another so she isn't really seeing the same people so much her yell still can't really work on people, just the audience, which isn't the people it's supposed to work on. I don't think I'd run from Joxer, I'm not a fighter either but I am pretty good at stopping fists with my head, that's about as good as I can fight, but I still wouldn't run from that guy, I'd just giggle at his helmet or something. :wild1: Xena came to Britain? kewlness, she's got good taste in where she travels, but it is strange how all her doubles gathered around one area, it's almost like they were drawn somehow, some sort of mystic force at work, or just writers struggling for inspiration, one of the two.

I don't like those cop shows, they're so boring, catching criminals just everyday life, the point of TV is to break away from reality, so it's kind of defeating the purpose for so many real life things to be on it, stupid TV, but hopefully it'll still be on at the weekend, I'll be mad if it's not. Woah, that's a lot going on, Xena and Gabrielle had children? I didn't know about that, or I did and forgot, or I need to see the episodes again to know properly, but that does sound funny with Gabrielle getting dragged, even if I do like her, I think she may have deserved that.

Just to be slightly random, but that's how my mind works, I was watching even more 24 today, and in season four episode 12 there's a bit where Jack's running around with his silenced pistol and starts beating guys up, throwing them against the wall and stuff, and as he did this I was reminded of the Casino Royale trailer, and I thought "Is Bond stealing Bauer's style?", he's gone blonde, he's got the same sort of fight moves, I think he just might be, random, but I just had to say that.

"Nooo!"

Haha, that part is great! They really reminded me of myself at that point, like when Ed suggests some album that he obviously dislikes and Shaun's like, "I like it," and won't let him throw it, lol. Yeah, I'd totally be like Shaun. Well... maybe not if Zombies were coming after me, then I might be willing to part with it, but hopefully in that situation I'd have had the inspiration to smash through the shed's door earlier.

Wonder where Xena got that yell, anyway. It's not exactly what I would come up with if I were attacking someone. Well, if it were me I'd try to be quiet so I wouldn't give myself away, lol. Seriously, it's like she'll be sneaking up on someone, but right as she finally jumps out at them she'll be like, "Aiaiaiaiai!" *sigh* Ah, well. She makes it work for her. Joxer's not really scary, but in season 5 he did kill somebody. :( Meh, with my luck he'd probably just be trying to flip his sword around and lose control of it and skewer me. Yeah, I think it's probably best not to be too near that guy. Xena did go to Britain. She pulled the sword out of the stone, too. :yay: And yet she didn't get to be queen. <_< Stupid knights not giving the throne to her. :(

Yeah, gah, I had to watch an hour of Cops today because my mom wanted to watch it. I spent the time writing and not paying attention, lol. I don't even remember one bust that happened. I wasn't paying attention. Ooh, yeah, Xena had her kid back when she was a warlord, so he's kind of old, around 10 or so, I forget the exact number of years. Gabby had her kid in season 3. Lots of stuff happened in season 3. Well, then Xena had Eve in season 5, but that's not the kid that Gabrielle's daughter killed. Ooh, yeah, a lot of fans of Xena find the "Gab drag" all shocking because Xena's so violent against Gabby, but I'm always like, "She deserves it! Drag that Gabby!"

Haha, Bond is kind of like Bauer... except he gets laid more. Probably why he always seems more relaxed than Jack ever is.

I'm not sure either, sometimes people say things really randomly and they stick, even though there's no idea where they came from, Xena could have just done her yell and then kept doing it without knowing she was, or just liked it from previously, that works, I've made up weird curse variations randomly and they've stuck, no idea where they come from, and that's not as nice as funny battle sounds. :wild1: Joxer killed someone? wow, I didn't think he could do that, but I don't think he could kill you while failing at sword flips, he'd have to do a pretty strong sword flip to do that. :D So Xena pulled the sword from the stone and they didn't let her get anything for it? that's so meany, did they put the sword back again for the next person to try and pull it? she should have been Queen Xena, and ruled over Britain, that would be cool, no one would have attacked or even made fun of us as no one would dare make the Queen angry.

A whole hour of Cops? that's scary, the only thing that show is good for is when other shows copy it, like South Park, and that one episode of X-Files which was done in the same style, even had the same theme, that was funny, Mulder and Scully all reality style. I guess Xena having a kid when she was a warlord makes sense, since she was so bad and since he didn't come into it for so long then that's just child neglection, yeah, makes sense, ebil Xena ignoring her child, but Gabrielle had a kid later on? oh, she got busy while bored when Xena was off fighting someone somewhere, silly Gabrielle, and Xena had a kid later too? when did she get time to do that? I can't imagine her fighting with a bump. Teehee, Xena's violent anyway, people should have expected it from her.

That's because Bond always leaves the ladies straight away, he's mean, Jack tries to make things work but any woman who he feels anything for dies, or gets kidnapped a load of times, or turns out to be a double agent and he has to kill her, Jack's so unlucky in love. :(

Just to take the Bond/Bauer similarities a bit further...

Joxer killed someone? wow, I didn't think he could do that, but I don't think he could kill you while failing at sword flips, he'd have to do a pretty strong sword flip to do that.

 Was his first kill, it was. I really liked that episode, actually, because it gave Joxer a chance to be a bit more serious and gave some gravity to the character, rather than him just being the comic relief. Wait... I said it was in season 5... it might have been season 4... it was the second episode with Najara... gah, thinking about it I think it was season 4. Yeah, it had to be, because Gabby was on her stupid pacifist kick. Sorry for the mess up there.

Steven

So Xena pulled the sword from the stone and they didn't let her get anything for it? that's so meany, did they put the sword back again for the next person to try and pull it? she should have been Queen Xena, and ruled over Britain, that would be cool, no one would have attacked or even made fun of us as no one would dare make the Queen angry.

I'm sure to this day nobody would mess with Britain if Xena had ruled over it. I mean, she almost singlehandedly made the Vikings the feared warriors they were, and they were powerful for, what... 300, 400 years... something like that, lol. Xena actually put the sword back in the stone herself. She didn't know what pulling it meant, and she just pulled it out to look at it. These two knights saw her do it, though, and they didn't say anything! Then in the background for the rest of the scene you could see them trying to pull the sword out, lol.

Yeah, Xena had a kid with Borias. Genetics apparently meant nothing, because the kid's veery fair with really light, almost sandy blonde hair. Well, you know what Xena looked like, and Borias had a complexion kind of like Jack Sparrows and black hair. Yeah, that always perplexed me. Maybe he wasn't really the father, lol. But, Xena left her kid with the centaurs so it wouldn't grow up to be like her. Awwww, how sweet. :) Ooh, Gabby was kind of raped by a god and that's how she got pregnant. The entire situation was pretty bad for poor little Gabby, lol. Xena's second child was because of supernatural stuff, too. Well, I suppose their children had to be supernatural. They weren't going to have kids, not with their special relationship. ;) Haha, it was pretty funny watching Xena fight when she was pregnant. Pretty sad when a group of able bodied fighters can't take on a woman who's nine months pregnant.

Yeah, with James you'll get an STD, but with Jack you'll get killed. Poor women who love either of those men.

Tee hee, they do look a lot alike in those pictures.

Who did he kill? if it's a bad guy then it's ok, I guess everyone in TV shows has to kill someone eventually, or the TV shows worth watching anyway, if Chloe on 24 could kill someone it's only natural that Joxer would be able to as he's swinging around little daggers and swords and stuff all the time. Teehee, it's ok, it's easy to get mixed up with seasons of a show, even ones you've seen loads of times.

Xena had made the Vikings as scary as they are? cool, I can't remember how long they ruled for, I should do since I got taught about that stuff so much, my area was founded by Vikings so I guess people had some lack in originality for lessons, fun though, I even went to a museum about them but I can't remember that now, shame. :( Haha, she put the sword back to avoid any responsibility, sounds like Xena for sure, can't have been a good sword if she didn't keep it, probably best she did put it back, no point going around with a lame sword. :wild1:

That is weird, I can't imagine Xena having a blonde kid, that doesn't seem right at all, the only person she could maybe have that with would be Gabrielle, and that's not even possible, they could try it and I'm sure they did try it, I'd like to think they tried it, but they still wouldn't get a baby from it. Woah, that's a lot of supernatural humping going on, the Gods must do a little more than like them, as long as they can still fight when pregnant, it wouldn't be the same if they had to sit down and take rests all the time, getting all tired out and sleeping while people take care of them instead of making them go out and save their villages, not the same at all, no one would watch it if there wasn't all the fighting and saving in it.

James kills the ladies slower with giving them the diseases instead, at least Jack's sensible, when he's not out torturing someone or shooting many unnamed henchmen. :wild1:

They do look pretty samey, but Jack may be copying Bond a little too, you seen the beard he's got for the start of season six? Beeard!

He wears it better than Bond did, that was unintentionally hilarious looking, anything Bond can do Jack can do better. :D

You seen how different Chloe looks now? crazy. :o

Who did he kill?

Some warlord badguy that was only in that one episode and I can't remember the name of right now. He was protecting some people when he did it. Didn't make him feel much better about it, though. He felt really guilty. Well, I would, too, if I were him.

Steven

Teehee, it's ok, it's easy to get mixed up with seasons of a show, even ones you've seen loads of times.

 Hehe, for some reason that episode feels like it's in season 5 for me, but I know it was in season 4. *sigh* It just feels season 5-y. Gah, Gabrielle was all peaceful in it, though, and in that awful yellow India outfit, so I know it was from season 4. Ah, well.

Steven

Xena had made the Vikings as scary as they are?

 Before she showed up they were just normal people, then she showed them that violence gives your life meaning, and, well, the rest is history. She definately had an impact on history. Helped that she was a Valkyrie. Made it easier for her to get her message out.

Steven

That is weird, I can't imagine Xena having a blonde kid, that doesn't seem right at all, the only person she could maybe have that with would be Gabrielle, and that's not even possible, they could try it and I'm sure they did try it, I'd like to think they tried it, but they still wouldn't get a baby from it.

Yeah, Solan didn't look like he would really be her kid at all. Ah, well. He did kind of look like Gabrielle, now that you mention it...

I'm sure Xena and Gabby tried to have a kid together. Poor them, it never worked out for them. Well, if they didn't succeed they just tried harder. They worked on it and worked on it, I'm sure.

Steven

They do look pretty samey, but Jack may be copying Bond a little too, you seen the beard he's got for the start of season six?

Oh, well that's not so bad if he killed a bad guy, by the sounds pf it it was kill or be killed, and a lot of people being killed as well, so he did the right thing, but I'd have felt guilty too, I feel that way just killing bugs sometimes.

I know episodes can feel like they're from a different season, I get confused with X-files episodes sometimes because of that, but you know where it's really from so your knowledge of Xena is still the awesomeness, nothing's going to change that or take away from my Tomby's awesomeness. :D

Tomby

The Vikings were peaceful before Xena came along? wow, she sure has a weird effect on people sometimes, she's even worse around people than James Bond is, turning up and making everyone a fearful warrior, at least they have a good teacher in that. :D

Tomby

He did look like Gabrielle? maybe they did have a kid together then, they could have put a little supernatural magic into their lovelife to get around the technicalities, they just didn't show what they were getting up to, as much as they should have shown that, would have gotten higher ratings if they did, would have gotten them even if they weren't able to have a kid from their trying, if only they did show that, maybe the show would still be on.

Tomby

Woah. He does look like Bond there. Depressed and in bad clothes, too. Poor Jack. :(

He does look sad but that's what two years in a Chinese prison will do to a guy. :( Not the first time he's been beardy, he had one for the first hour of season two, but he shaved that off and somehow within a few minutes managed to give himself a haircut too, Jack's just cool like that, he can do anything.

I would have posted the Chloe picture yesterday but the computer messed up and got rid of the window with all the images in it, had to post or possibly face it crashing and wiping everything, stupid computer: Linky

She doesn't look like a nerd anymore, I don't know if that's good or bad.

Oh, well that's not so bad if he killed a bad guy, by the sounds pf it it was kill or be killed, and a lot of people being killed as well, so he did the right thing, but I'd have felt guilty too, I feel that way just killing bugs sometimes.

Yeah, Joxer did what he had to do, and it was kind of just instinct as this guy came towards him. Was still sad, though. :( Haha, yeah, I went through a phase where I felt guilty walking on grass when I didn't need to because I knew I was probably squishing all sorts of critters when I did. Got over it, though.

Haha, I'm sure that would have been the highest rated episode ever! Poor Gabby and Xena, you know they're doing stuff, but they never really acknowledge it. Ah, well. True fans know. I'm sure the show would still be on to this day if they had started showing that every episode. Course, the show would probably be moved to pay-per-view.

Haha, yeah, I remember that. I was really happy when he shaved. I was afraid they were going to have him be like that through the whole season, and I was so sad! :(

Aw, I'm sorry your computer's messing up!  Don't worry about not posting stuff when your computer's acting gooby. She does look more cool. Darker hair, nicer clothes. Wonder if it reflects changes in her character. Maybe after Edgar died she realized there's more to life than being a computer geek.

I haven't seen it. :( I've seen a bunch of stuff related to it... like I saw Borat interviewed on The Daily Show and... I think it was on Good Morning America... or The Early Show... whichever one's on CBS. It's great, because he's interviewed as Borat, and he completely stays in character. It's awesome. I also saw this Comedy Central special thing about the movie which was basically just a half hour of clips from the movie, so I have seen a good portion of it, lol. I haven't seen the actualy movie, though. :( I'd like to, too. It seems hilarious. Ah, well. Maybe when it comes out on TV... eventually... :(

That's cool, he might not have been a warrior but he had warrior instincts, even if he didn't have the skills to really make him a warrior. I don't squish the bugs, well I do if I have to, not good having them running around, I only really try to if I see one when I want to sleep, stupid fear of things getting inside my head, I so blame Star Trek for that.

The show would have been moved if they started showing their nighttime activities, but then the show would have been more adult and they could have had Xena causing blood to spray out of people when she slashes their major arteries with her sword, then she'd have been all wet and bloody, and Gabrielle would like seeing her like that and then... yeah, they'd start trying to make a kid again, that'd be kind of cool really.

I was wondering how much ass he could kick with the whole hobo look as well, but he always smartens up somehow, I was glad when he didn't keep how he looked in the prequel thing to the last season, I didn't like that look either.

It's ok, I seem to have it working ok now, I just have to hurry up and post if it starts messing up while I'm writing, which makes it hard getting any links sometimes. Chloe has gotten less computer geeky over the last two seasons, first she killed a guy and then knocked someone out several times by shocking him, she really has been hanging out with Jack too much, he should try his best to make sure she doesn't die as I'd be pretty mad if that happened. :(

I saw it, I even wrote a review for it at MySpace like I do every time I see a film on the big screen, but it was a funny film, probably the funniest I've seen this year, funnier than the TV show and his earlier appearances on the Ali G show, I remember Ali G from back in around 98 when he was on the 10 O' Clock Show, which I doubt was shown outside of Britain as it was crap apart from him, anyway, Borat was so gross, I was hiding when he was fighting the fat man. :blech:

There were some strange sounds coming from the women in the audience, me, I was between laughter and disgust, a strange place to be but a funny one.

I wonder how that scene will play out on TV? they'll probably censor it even more as fat guy's balls aren't the sort of thing you get on TV, but at least one good thing came from that, apart from making me laugh, showed that on Family Guy when it appears Peter doesn't have genitals, is actually accurate.

You know that they will completely cut that scene out from a broadcast.
