I don't squish the bugs, well I do if I have to, not good having them running around, I only really try to if I see one when I want to sleep, stupid fear of things getting inside my head, I so blame Star Trek for that.

Aw, you're so sweet to all the alive critters. Sadly... I'm not so nice. If something's inside my house I'm going to kill it, lol. Anywhere else, though, I leave them alone. Meh, if an insect's outside it doesn't bother me, so there's no need to squish it. But, I know what you mean about sleep. Once, I woke up and looked down and saw a cricket sitting on my leg. Freaked me out.

Steven

they could have had Xena causing blood to spray out of people when she slashes their major arteries with her sword

Seriously, she did a lot of hacking and hewing with very little blood being seen. At least I can always look to "To Helicon and Back" if I want to see some blood. Whenever somebody died in that episode some blood would come out of their mouth. Sweet. :D

Steven

Chloe has gotten less computer geeky over the last two seasons, first she killed a guy and then knocked someone out several times by shocking him, she really has been hanging out with Jack too much, he should try his best to make sure she doesn't die as I'd be pretty mad if that happened.

I would be pretty disappointed if Chloe died... which makes me think it's going to happen, lol. There's only two characters ever on that show that I really didn't want to die (Jack's not even on the list, lol): Tony and Chloe. Tony's already dead. Chloe's next. :(

Will

You know that they will completely cut that scene out from a broadcast.

Definitely here in America. Those sensors, they have no sense of humor.

Ah, Family Guy, how well your quote will work here...

"And if you are alone with some young thing,
You'll have to do her with your dingaling,
Cuz you can't say penis!"

I'm not always sweet, I once had to kill a mouse, and it was a cutesy one too, that made me sad, I hate killing things. Eek, a cricket? that does sound freaky, those are biggish things, not the nicest way to be woken up, and I thought my niece slapping me in the head was bad enough, that's even worserer, stupid bugs and their attacking during sleep.

They bled from their mouths? icky, but that's internal bleeding for you, the sort of thing which happens when a person gets a sword shoved into their stomach, I'd still like to see at least one jugular shot with a quick spray of blood, it's not likely to happen, unless they make new ones or a movie or something, which is even less likely since they killed her.

Me too, I'm hoping the writers have gotten out mass murdering of main characters from their systems now, so Chloe might survive, but there's characters I expect to die before Chloe's time comes, Curtis, he pretty much disappeared during last season, a bad sign, and Bill since he's the run CTU for the longer than anyone else, everyone else who's run it or tried to take over have had serious survival issues, which is strange since they hardly ever leave the building, still, Chloe's safe until they're both dead I think. Oh, and Audrey and Logan, I expect both to die as well, but they wouldn't be so bad, I'd cheer if Logan died.

I'd be surprised if they could even use the word "balls" so showing them would be a big no no, it's not like you'd be missing much anyway, unless you wanted to see someone trying to choke a guy with his balls and ass. :blech: You can always go see it on the big screen if you do though.

Teehee, I know that Family Guy song, I got to see the new episodes a few weeks ago, they were funny, and had Soundwave and Cobra Commander in them as well, yay, references I get! :D

Aw, poor Steven!!! That couldn't have been fun. :( I've never killed anything other than insects or bugs (that I know of), and I really don't want to. I don't want to kill things!!! Although... I'm not a vagetarian, so plenty of things have died for me... meh.

I would love for there to be a movie, there are lots of ways to come back to life in the Xenaverse. Still, I doubt it will happen. Lucy and Renee aren't getting any younger, not to mention that Kevin Smith is dead, and a movie without Ares would just be sad, and I doubt fans of the show would accept any other actor in that role. Still, I can hope for a movie. *hopes*

Oh, and Audrey and Logan, I expect both to die as well, but they wouldn't be so bad, I'd cheer if Logan died.

It is amazing how many of the people whose job it is to just stay in the CTU headquarters end up dying, while Jack manages to survive every single mission they send him on. Ooh, I'd actually be pretty happy if Audrey died. I'm a bit mean, I guess, lol, but for some reason I find her kind of annoying. I can't quite put my finger on it... I just never liked her as much. *shrug*

:yay: That show rocks! You know, last week for the first time I saw this music video that was this weird black and white cartoon, and I'd never seen it before, but the second I saw it I knew it was what Family Guy was making fun of when Chris got pulled into the area behind the milk at the grocery store. I always knew they were making fun of come cartoon, but I never knew what it was. Now I know. Woo hoo! Another reference I get! :yay:

I think I'd watch a movie if there was one, it'd have a huge budget and with it not being restrained by TV rules it could have blood and Xena and Gabrielle getting busy, everything a person could want in a film. I'm sure there's got to be some way of there being a comeback, the actors don't seem to be doing much and there's still Xena stuff being made, it wouldn't take too much for them to do it.

It is crazy how no one can be in charge of CTU without paying for it, George, he got radiation poisoning and blew himself up, then there was Ryan who Jack shot in the head, Tony and Michelle were both in charge at times, and Lynn tried to take over and died last season, so unlucky, they take desk jobs to avoid the dangers and then get killed anyway, same goes for computer technicians or anyone else there, I think the best thing is to not work at CTU. Me too! a few 24 characters I found annoying at first, Chloe and Edgar, I couldn't stand either of those to begin with, but watching the episodes all over again and I start to like them, but Audrey still annoys me at times, maybe she will die, they should kill Kim as well, that'd make Jack really crazy which would make for pretty awesome TV.

Poor wittle miceys, but you had to do what you had to do. Hehe, it's weird, because it's not like I can really justify eating meat, even to myself... but it's just so good! I'm just weak, I guess.

A movie would be awesome, because it would have way more sex and violence (woot!), lol. Well, especially the violence part, for me personally, cuz that really is important to the show. I could see a lot more of Xena cutting a guy across the neck and the blood spurting on her face or something. That'd be sweet. :D I think a large part of the reason it's not being made is that technically Universal has the rights to it (I actually met "Xena" at Universal Studios once, lol), but they don't want to make it. Rob Tapert wants to do it, but he can't get the rights to do it. :( That's what I heard last, anyway. Don't know how accurate it is, but that's what I've heard.

Steven

then there was Ryan who Jack shot in the head

That was awesome!!! Oh my gosh, I loved that sooooooooo much. Poor guy. Yes, it's best to just not work at CTU at all... and apparently to not be in LA at all either. I remember when the big crisis was that there was a bomb in LA, and I was living in LA at the time. Made the show a bit less fun to watch.

I always liked Chloe, but that's probably more because I'd seen the actress that plays her in other stuff before, and had liked her, so I was a bit predisposed to like Chloe. I did find Edgar annoying, too, though. I kind of always found him annoying. I wasn't as sad when he died as other people were. Yeah, Audrey should totally die. I keep wanting Kim to die, I've been wanting that since the first season, but she's like an ant, where you can microwave them and they still won't die! She just keeps going! *sigh* Seriously, I'd be so happy if Kim died, lol.

Haha, it's weird seeing something after you've seen it parodied first. It's like you can never take it seriously after that. Like, before I saw PotC: CotBP Conan O'Brien did this thing where he made fun of it on his show. He had the part where Jack's swinging around on that pully thingie when trying to escape, but Conan was making fun of it that it was too long, so he just kept showing Jack swing around and around over and over. I have never been able to watch that scene without thinking about that, lol. Or like on Blading Saddles, I never found Hedley Lamar's name funny because I saw that movie way before I had ever heard of someone named Heddy Lamar. Ah, well.

At least I don't have to kill anything now, anything other than being gentle with things feels weird for me. :( It's not so weird, people are out there killing animals and giving them away as food, to not eat them would be to take away the reason for their death and render their exit in this world pointless, don't do that to the animals, they provide much goodness and to not eat them would mean they'll just go bad and get thrown in the trash, we have to make sure their death meant something, and to do that means eating.

Tomby

Maybe they could curse more as well, if Xena's going to get a few hits and stuff during battle it'd be weird if she didn't let out a few naughty words, that's what always surprises me about 24, the only time Jack ever swore was in the season four prequel when he told Erin she could stick her... *ahem* job, yeah, maybe Xena could do the same, she gets so angry it'd be natural to swear. :wild1:Ooh, she could chop off a guy's arms or something, instead of doing that torture where she pops their neck she could pull out her sword and start hacking, which sounds mean, but I'd enjoy watching that. Booo! they should make it, I'm not sure why they don't because it'd rock, and be better than all the remakes and films starring Adam Sandler, I saw there's a video game coming out but it doesn't sound so good, but if there can be games then a movie should be possible.

That part was so tense to watch, Ryan was annoying at first but then they started to make him likeable, a few episodes later he's blown away, seems the thing they do, they did the same with George, make him likeable and have him die. <_< Oooh, that would make it harder to watch, but in 24 living in LA seems like the worst idea of all, the place has been targeted by nuclear bombs twice, a virus and nerve gas as well, and next season, well I wonder if anyone will still be living there after that.

Tomby

When Chloe came into it I was hoping they'd kill her, but now I want her to live, a few days can make a big difference, but it is mostly watching them so much which makes the characters less annoying, I don't know why but I started to like Edgar the last time I watched season four, which was my third time, I know, I watch it too much, but it's too late now to like him really since he's dead, but his death is so sad, he just walks in and you know straight away he's about to die, he doesn't know it though, he just pulls a confused look and in his final breath asks for Chloe before falling over, argh, I watched it again yesterday, it's so horrible to watch! even worse is Tony which I saw again earlier, those episodes are evil! I don't think Kim's coming back so we probably won't see her die, the last time she was in it she was all she never wants to see Jack again, if he didn't have enough to deal with already, so selfish, no wonder Chase left her.

Tomby

I get that with parody films as there's always going to be one joke in the film to do with another movie which hasn't been seen yet, and most parodies are forgotten about until watching the scene which was made fun of, so being reminded that way makes it so hard not to laugh, even if it's a serious scene like someone dying or something, if it's not bad enough laughing during death scenes anyway, people must think I'm sick.

Hehe, I never really thought much about it, but they don't really curse much on the show, do they? They say "By the gods" a lot, and in season 6 once Xena said "sh*t," but it was beeped out, lol. It would be more realistic if they cursed, I guess, considering all the junk they go through, although I think it shows Xena's self control that she doesn't, and Gabrielle's purity, so I guess it fits with the characters, lol. Haha, I could see that, "I just chopped off your arm. You'll be dead in 30 seconds from the bleeding unless I stop it, so talk!" Video game, eh? Well, companies will do anything to make money, lol.

Steven

Yeah, any time an unlikable character starts to become likable on that show you just know he/she is about to die. *sigh* It's like a rule. For a show that prides itself on being unpredictable you'd think they'd stop doing that.

Steven

Yeah, when you're actually living in LA that stuff can be hard to watch sometimes.

Steven

I don't think Kim's coming back

That's good. Yay! Seriously, I just don't like her. I don't even need her to die, really, as long as she's just not around. Just leave her out of the show!

Xena cursed and they bleeped it? that's messing with the feel of the show, since they didn't have bleep machines back in those times, not even magic could give them that power to go a bleeping. Characters don't really swear on TV because it always gets bleeps and it ruins things unless the bleep is funny, like on the Cops style X-Files, "I don't think this is live TV because she just said *bleep*", that was funny, but I couldn't see it working with Xena. :wild1: That's how it'd happen, and Xena would find some crazy way of stopping the bleeding, like taking a torch and stabbing him in the stump with it, that'd work, although TV doesn't really like that either, I was watching more 24 earlier and I thought when Audrey got her arm cut Jack should have burned her to stop the bleeding, if he really wanted her to live he would have. I guess there's video games of everything, but the Xena one's way too cheap for new release, which probably means it'll suck, plus there's hardly any information on it: Link

It does happen a lot, the show's done just about everything now so it's hard for it to still be unpredictable, but with so many unlikeable characters becoming likeable during the last season and the way almost everyone was being killed I was happy when it ended, as it meant no one else could die... for a year.

Tomby

Yeah, when she's around you just know she'll get herself kidnapped, silly Kim, she even managed to take herself hostage when she got herself stuck in the cougar trap and couldn't find a way out of such a simple thing, maybe Chase should come back, he was cool, and was in the game so he could always return.

Yay, my Tomby wouldn't think I'm sick! I get some real funny looks when watching some films, like the Final Destination ones, I laugh so much when people die in those. Aww, I'm sure we would both laugh, although that's three and a half hours and I'd much rather watch my Tomby for that time than a silly film, how could I watch anything else but you?

Haha, it was a comedy episode, so it was kind of a joke, and it made me laugh, at least, so it did kind of work. Xena said to Ares something along the lines of, "How are you at shoveling sh*t?" They were trying to pass Ares off as a farmer, lol. It was the sixth season, though, and sometimes when I watch that season I get the feeling they were like, "We're being cancelled anyway. Might as well do all the stuff that they wouldn't let us do before."

Steven

I guess there's video games of everything, but the Xena one's way too cheap for new release, which probably means it'll suck, plus there's hardly any information on it:

Woah, look at this...

http://www.tesco.com/entertainment/product.aspx?R=725958&bci=4%7CGames*4294362035%7CPS2*92%7CComing%20Soon*43%7CUnder%20%C2%A312

Weapons include: Sword, Chakram, and Holy Bomb

 Holy bomb? What is this, the holy hand grenade?

Steven

It does happen a lot, the show's done just about everything now so it's hard for it to still be unpredictable, but with so many unlikeable characters becoming likeable during the last season and the way almost everyone was being killed I was happy when it ended, as it meant no one else could die... for a year.

 Yeah, it is kind of nice to know that finally nobody else can die. But... I dunno, I think for me even after the first season it wasn't really shocking anymore... although I will say probably the thing on TV that got the biggest reaction out of me ever was from season one when Kim's mom offered to have herself raped so her daughter wouldn't be. Oh my gosh, for like ten minutes after that I was yelling, "No way." Haha. She was so calm about it, too, all like, "I won't fight you." Gah, that weirded me out back in the day.

Steven

Yeah, when she's around you just know she'll get herself kidnapped, silly Kim, she even managed to take herself hostage when she got herself stuck in the cougar trap and couldn't find a way out of such a simple thing, maybe Chase should come back, he was cool, and was in the game so he could always return.

Chase was cool. I was sad when he didn't return. :( Ah, well. As long as he's not on the show he's probably safe, they won't kill him if he's not around, and I don't want him to die, so it's probably for the best that he's not there, lol.

Steven

Aww, I'm sure we would both laugh, although that's three and a half hours and I'd much rather watch my Tomby for that time than a silly film, how could I watch anything else but you?

      Awwwwwwwwwwww! You are the bestest! Tee hee, the ship would be going down but neither of us would be aware of it because we'd both be lost in each other's eyes. Awwwwwwwww.

You laugh when Jack dies!

You all are horrible!

Aw, thank you, Will!

Teehee, that's ok then, so many of Xena episodes I saw were funny but I can't remember so much of the later ones so maybe it darkened a lot, oh well, at least it worked with the bleeping, but if they were getting nearer the end of the series it's probably best they tried to do stuff like that, did they do more blood in it? that'd be the one thing they should have tried to put in more.

Tomby

 Holy bomb? What is this, the holy hand grenade?

That's what I thought too, no idea what one of those is but it sounds pretty silly, "This is the Holy bomb, you have 30 seconds to tell me what you know or it'll explode. There won't be a 31. 32 is entirely out of the question."

Tomby

No one will die until it comes back anyway, and there's people coming back to fill the gaps because of all the killing in the last season, should be fun, but the show has become less shocking, when Terri got raped freaked me out too, that was awful, since the first season there's still been a few shocks, Air Force One getting shot down, CTU getting gassed in the last season, it was obvious it was going to happen but it was so hard to watch, and Tony dying, arrgh! also the Russian Roulette in season three, that was the craziness, it still has its shocks then, just not as many because so much has already happened.

Tomby

He only quit CTU because of Kim, which means he can come back now he left her, which he only did after he though Jack had died, good decision there I think, I'm sure he could with him being in the game so much it means he wasn't forgotten and the actor still wants to play him, as for Kim, I remembered a scene which was cut out from season two, she had this big fight and it proved she could stick up for herself, although it looked like a stunt double at times so maybe it was best left out, it's still in the show but shortened loads so it's mostly Kim getting hit, probably better that way too.

Nothing at all could pull my attention away from you, not even the end of world would make me want to look at anything other than my Tomby.

I do laugh when Jack dies, but it's more of a small laugh, like a giggle, not a full belly laugh, I save those for the really gory death scenes, like in Final Destination 3 when that guy's head explodes, I laughed for so long after that, just thinking about it makes me laugh.

Hehe, yeah, that episode was"Old Ares Had a Farm," lol. One of my favorite episodes is from season 6, actually, called "You Are There" because it's seriously the funniest episode, at least in my opinion. They have a modern day reporter there, with microphones and a TV studio and all, but they have absolutely no reason for him being there. It's hilarious. Yeah, there was a bit more blood in season six I would say, although still not super amounts because it was on TV. I keep thinking of Caesar's second death on there, that had some blood, and that was season six.

 "Neither shall thou count to 29, lesting thou then proceeds to 30." It's just weird, because they did have Greek fire, and in China they had, fireworks exploding stuff, but for the most part there just wasn't exploding stuff to make a grenade with in the Xenaverse. Ah, well. Maybe she got it in China. That'd make more sense; would make me feel better, anyway.

I was surprised when Air Force One went down, but not shocked, I dunno I guess I've just been kind of desensitized by that show, lol. Ooh, the Russian Roulette was cool, lol. Reminds me of a quote (that I'm totally going to mess up) from King of the Hill:

[I

King of the Hill[/I]]Dale: We were playing Russian Roulette.
Nancy: Did you win?
Dale: You're not familiar with the game, are you?
Nancy: No.
Dale: Yup, I won.

They have modern reporters and TV equipment? sounds like the historian in Holy Grail, did Xena kill the reporter and get locked away in a prison van? that'd be weird, she'd have to break out of prison which would be awesome, although doing that would seriously go against the whole time period thing, but with the TV stuff they could probably do that anyway, she could show the people on Prison Break a thing or two, episode one, she kicks everyone's ass and jumps over the fence with several flips before hitting the ground and running away, I'd watch that. I'll have to try and start watching it again, it's only on at 9am on a Saturday morning now, I want to be sleeping at time!

Yeah, bombs don't seem to fit the era really, maybe it's explained how she gets them, most games seem to have lame explainations for stupid stuff which doesn't seem to fit, I guess there's places she could have found one, there were bombs in Scorpion King, could be possible to have found them then.

I didn't think the plane would get destroyed, it was just mad, the only bad thing was the President in that season was in it so little and in season three he wasn't too likeable, he was trying to blackmail Palmer out of office, so when the plane got blown it was more "I didn't see that coming" instead of any feeling for the guy, since there was none, probably why he didn't come back at all, he might still be in a coma, no one's ever mentioned him since then. I think I was desensitised before 24, although maybe it's made me worse, wanting Jack to burn Audrey so she'd stop bleeding isn't the sort of thing I'd have thought before watching that show, and mostly I just wanted to see that so she'd be in more pain.

Tomby

I'm mean to her too, I'm the one who shot her in the head on the game, I think I'm meaner then. :wild1: Chase got his hand reattached, he was getting it done at the end which was also fairly fast to get him into medical, 24 really jumps like that sometimes, but anyone who goes out with Kim loses a limb, her boyfriend from season two lost a leg, and then Chase got messed up, that really takes giving an arm and a leg to be with someone way too literally.

Haha! I would have loved it if Xena killed the reporter!!! I think she was tempted a few times, lol, but she never went through with it. What's cool is the reporter was played by Michael Hurst, the guy who played Iolus, and he looked completely different, lol. Short, brown hair, glasses, khaki outfit. Tee hee, it took me a while to realize where I'd seen him before the first time I saw it. Aw, I understand, I'd rather be sleeping at that time, too.

Yeah, and Scorpion King was thousands of years before Xena, so if he had them she should be abe to have them, too! Still seems weird, though. Ah, well.

Yeah, she's dangerous to go out with, lol. I'd be scared to be her friend, too. Her friend in the first season got messed up and then died, lol. Just stay away from Kim. It's the best way to stay dafe.
