Mine came with me from CB really, my username on IMDB is very different.

Tis a nickname from way back when and not to do with X-Men, although now days I do like the X-Men movies and Rogue is one of my fav characters. Works nicely with my email too :)

Back in 9th grade I wanted a pseudonym to put on something that I can't remember what it was now. I do remember it was for my English class. Anyway, I love Disneyland and the Haunted Mansion, and at the time I was reading a lot about it on the internet. A page came up with the epitaphs on all the graves outside the Mansion. One of them was M.T. Tomb. I loved it, and used it, and ever since then I've used it for things where I don't want to put my real name but I want people to know that it's me. I just put mttomb instead of M.T. Tomb because, well, it's easier. :)

Well, this is a complicated one. I'm Dutch. The S is short for my name.
I know, it's mind-boggling.

And since we're also doing histories: I came up with this name for IMDb, a little over three years ago. I never changed my name there, nor anywhere else - at least not voluntarily.

My name has a complicated backhistory. Not really... nevermind. Anyway, my uncle used the pen-name "Archer" for his artwork when he was a teenager, and I loved his artwork. When I started drawing a lot in 6th grade, I wanted to come up with a cool name for myself. I liked Archer, but didn't want to just use that, because I didn't want to totally copy him. Also, I liked archery... its cool. Anyway, the 'Wolf' came from a. I love wolves and b. my first and favorite dog (black lab) who I grew up with (literally, I was born in November and my parents got Wolf mid-December as an X-Mas present to themselves, and he was just one month old), so that kind of seemed to naturally fit, and I liked how it sounded. I also made my logo (the wolf howling with the bow and arrow behind his head) in 6th grade, 5 years ago. So I've had this name for about 1/3 of my life.... weird. I like it.

I've told the origin so many times already, but one more won't hurt.

In about year 5 of school (so 5th grade for Americans? I don't know, the different school systems confuse) the other kids at my school made fun of me for biting my nails (which I should really stop doing but meh). They would go on about Spaghetti BologNAILS and other stuff. One thing they said was "Nail biter of the 20th century" (don't ask me why).

Anyway one day some years later I went to sign up for the message board on the Buffy website and needed a screenname. For some reason I thought of the "Nail biter of..." thing, I shortened "nail biter" to NB and put 2000 instead of "twentieth century" (either I forgot that 2000 was the 21st century or I just thought it worked better than NB1999). Anyway the name stuck and I've used it for 99% of internet accounts since then (Sometimes I use NB2001 if 2000 is taken or I want a backup account, like on IMDb, and there's one or two where I used something completely different, but that's like two accounts that I've used maybe three times)

It's weird but the "NB2000" has become part of my real life as well. I used it as my password on the computer at my old school for a while and I tend to write it in very small letters in the back of my books (so if someone has a book that I think they knicked from me I can check).

Let's have a history lesson on Remus' online names, shall we?

On IMDb, I started out about three years ago as hawks_eyes (yes that was me, y'all called me Hawk), and then, a few months later, I started a second account called Jacks_Mom_2004, as in Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk's mom. I left IMDb for a while, about a year really, then started a third account as remus_rox_my_sox_07. I like underscorse, if you hadn't noticed. :) This was because Remus Lupin was my favorite character from Harry Potter, and I graduate next June (and I'm terrified, lemme tell ya). I got tired of typing all that in when signing in, so I shortened it to Remus07. And here I am now.

Funny story about that though...I've started a new nickname at school, people call me Remus. I even started a whole character using other favorite book characters: Lady Remus Hargreaves-Riffael...yeah, I'm done, enough with the weird stories about Remus' personalities...

...did any of this make sense?

:yay: My turn!

Well.........I absolutely LOVE Bloo from Foster's like, to death, and I've seen EVERY Foster's episode they have out there right now. But, when Dish first told me to join Parley, I wasn't sure about what my name should be...so Dish said....."Maybe you should be....BlooKazoo or something....I don't know." I heard it, and loved it bc I knew it was perfect! :D So, there's the name, all of the credit goes to Dish I suppose  , and the 77 is just bc my fave # is 7 but it looked lonely so I added another one. Thus creating the name.. BlooKazoo77!!!!!!! :yay:

My nick is derived from a song by the Dutch Band Within Temptation. The song's called 'Somewhere'. I just love the band and their music and thought of the lyrics being extremely beautiful (linky) 'Never stop hoping' is also my device. I think hope is very important in someone's life.
I'm also known as 'Hoping' (short version of my nick), sometimes mistakenly seen as 'Hopping' (lol :P) I know I can be a skittish girl, but it's not that bad :P

I guess this is a good time to find out who hasnt got my name already. If you haven't, it's just I'm Cool spelled with the word EYE. Not to complicated really. It does looke like evemcool but it isnt. And I have a very interesting story about how I got it. And 76 because it's a patriotic year and it's all I could think of. Edit - PG wanted me to tell you she thought of the number 76.

Here goes-

My sister (not PG, my other one) thought of it randomly when I was getting my email address. Exciting isnt it?

I also have two other usernames that I use.
1. Weasel and then any number. Only because my name (wesley) sounds like it and people called me that in 3rd grade.
2. GoJoAddai. One of my favorite football players is Joseph Addai. pretty simple.
