Wasn't that a great movie? (Last 2 were 'eh, coulda been better'). But the first one is so great. I downloaded all the soundtracks and I've been listening to them for a while, now I want to watch the first one so badly!!!! (Thank you, BitTorrent!) I'm going to have to go buy that Trilogy pack after Christmas now.

 Yes, Back to the Future is an amazing movie. The ride's pretty good, too (at Universal Studios), although it always makes me motion sick. :( You get swallowed by a T-rex, though. Good times. :D Anyway, quite good. I want a delorian with a flux capacitor!

:yay: Back to the Future!! The movie that gave me my first celeb crush. :D  Michael J. Fox...

Anyways, it's a great, wonderful movie. I've not seen it recently, though. :(

Doc Brown is my fav scientist. Great Scott!! :D His eyes are in a constant state of panic.

Did you know you could see a very young Elijah Wood in BttF2? He was one of the kids at the arcade machine in the future. Look closely...it's a hobbit! :D

They made a BttF cartoon, I used to watch it when I was little. I loved how they had the real Doc Brown in it. Bill Nye, the science guy, was in that too.

:yay: Back to the Future! I LOVE it!

You know you needed a life in 1998 when you watched BTTF and ended up buying your own DeLorean!

I heard they're changing the ride, though. Won't be BTTF anymore...

Shame...

WHAT?!?!

What's the world coming to?

Well, it is getting a bit weird when we're closer to the "future" time they went to than the "present." Still... <_<

Do you know what they're changing it to?

Gah, this is just like when they took out ET! Well, at least they replaced it with The Mummy. That ride's fun. :)

:( Sadly, I don't. They've already closed one dome. There supposed to reveal the new attraction in 2007.

Back to the Future is the most popular ride in Universal Studios! The wait for it was 2 hours long! The wait for the Hulk was only a half an hour!

Those films rock! and I liked the second one the best out of them all, but I always liked darker movies better so maybe that's why.

I like all the little details, the stuff which gets changed with the time travelling which I only see the more I watch it. :wild1:

I used to watch it almost every week when I was a kid! But still love the movies! The first one is my favourite. Yeah, I also had a crush on Michael J. Fox (Su ;)) I hope to see BTTF again during the holidays, it's been a while.
Awe, I wish I had had the chance to go on the ride :(

It was a simulator ride, similar to Star Tours, only the front of the vehicle was open and you were in a huge room with a huge screen instead of that little screen in Star Tours. First you went to the future and flew around Hill Valley with other flying cars and such, then you went back to the ice age and flew around come icy caverns, then you went back to the age of the dinosaurs and met a T-rex before going down a river of lava and finally back to the institute in the present. The story is that Biff stole one of the deloreans, and you're trying to catch him and bring him back to the present, so you're just following him wherever he goes. If your car is going 88 mph and you bump his car you can force him to come back to the present with you.

May sound weird, but I may like all the movies you're watching while in line better than the actual ride. They're funnier, anyway, with Biff locking Doc Brown in his office, which is why he doesn't just go after Biff himself, but is relying on us "volunteers."

I loved these movies. I first saw all three when I was 9. The first one was the best. The 2nd one was really weird and the third one was pretty good.

And like tomb said, we are pretty dang close to the "future." We could easily make voice-activated, multi-channel TVs. They have something like hoverboards, but all it really does is eliminate friction so it feels like you're hovering. And the hydration thing isnt really possible the way they did it so we dont have to worry about that.

Oddly enough I was talking to some people in the staff room at work about BttF and we were talking about which inventions from 2015 we wanted. We discussed a way of creating hoverboards and cars (although it involved laying metal under all roads and pavements), food rehydration and DeLoreans.
As with so much of my DVD collection I lent my BttF trilogy to someone about 8 months ago and haven't seen it since. On the plus side, at the moment in HMV the triple pack is only £14.99. I'll be getting that, Indiana Jones, the Alien saga and whatever else I can carry as soon as my bank gives me another card.
