I've always liked Jack the best. I'm glad he'll be back in OST versus Will and Lizzy. :)

Let's face it, Liz became too mary sue. At least in the first one she really was a princess who had some kick ass moments. Then they turn her into a viking in the second one, and then king in the third. She became an awesome sword fighter in just a year? And every man wants to do her? Will, Jack, Norrington, Sao Feng? She just....ugh. Will actually I liked toward the end, he seemed to have grown a sort of black sarcastic look on the world and darn if it wasn't a different enough change that it was interesting.

Jack....I think is on screen too much. He's brilliant and funny...but I think the Jack from the first movie has gotten lost under....Johnny Depp has no limits or idea of what he will do next Jack and is just filling in the script with gibberish sometimes.

Out of the options I picked Jack, never fails to raise a giggle.

My real vote would go for Norrington, and then Gibbs.

So, Rachel, whom did you vote for -- Will?

Sparrow's character has to be larger than life -- it's really theatrical in the true sense of the word, deliberately exaggerated, larger than life. It does detract from the development of the others' characters, I'll readily agree with that. I believe Elizabeth's character was best portrayed in the first film. and was much more credible. For an 18/19-year old I think she portrayed the role marvelously well. Will, on the other hand, seemed a shallow character by-and-large, mostly I think because Bloom really didn't pull off the role convincingly enough.

And let's face it, even if you were engaged, wouldn't you want to kiss Jack Sparrow? :naughty:

Duh!

I've always loved Capt. Jack more than any other character. I don't mind Elizabeth, but I've never cared much for Will (too much of a goody-two-shoes for my tastes). :)

Jack. With the amount of Jack Sparrow paraphernalia I own, I would be lying if I didn't pick him. XD
