At first I was having real difficulty choosing between them until I realised I wasn't trying to decide between systems, I was trying to decide between games. Once I got past that there was really only one choice left for me. I love my DS.

Xbox, hands down. I bought one back in 2004 when I started college.

Well, I voted for computer because, well, I never had a game station, and so computer games was all I had. So sad. :(

On the plus side the arrow keys are like an extension of my own mind by now.

I'm a Nintendo guy. Since '86.

The N64 is still my favorite. Halo has NOTHING on Goldeneye.

Nintendo guy? Bet you don't have a working 8-bit system still.

I own every Nintendo system outside of a Virtual Boy.

Those things are hard to find. :(

My remark was directed more at Coldmetal, but it's good to know that I'm not the only one with a working original Nintendo.

In my household we have a NES, a SNES, an N64, a Gamecube, two DSs and a Virtual Boy. The Virtual Boy is a recent acquisition from Ebay as they were never released in England. The left eye screen isn't working at the moment so we will need to get it fixed up first. I'm looking forward to red 3D and blinding headaches.

Blinding headaches w00t!

In my house we have, in no particular order, a NES, SNES, N64, numerous types of Gameboys, a Game Gear Genesis, Saturn, Playstation (I got all those when I lived at home). All the stuff I got after I left home are a Dreamcast, GCN, PS2, Xbox, Wii, PSP, Xbox 360, and a PS3. My daughter owns a DS.

Nothing compared to my friend, though. He owns about... 35 Ataris and about 500 games.

We've also got (between us) 3 Game Gears, a Master System, various incarnations of the Game Boy, a Mega Drive, a Neo Geo Pocket Color, Dreamcast, Saturn, X-Box and PS2 (plus some older things hidden away in parents' lofts).
I'm still waiting on price or availability for the X360, Wii and PS3. I don't really want a PSP. I'm getting a bit annoyed that they've announced yet more changes for the DS this year. I have an original DS and the Lite already has features that mine can't cope with (DS Lite Browser etc).

I love my Gamecube, as well as the N64.

Haven't tried out the Wii, though.

I had to vote for Computer, it's the only one I've ever owned (don't judge me!), saying that I've had a few good games on the compy, my addiction to the Sims is covered elsewhere but I also liked other games (well except for the ones that made me want to throw the monitor across the room).

My mother's friend's sons used to have a NES (okay I had to look that up, hey it wasn't mine why should I remember?) and a Playstation that I played with a few times (okay fine I mostly played Duck Hunt and one of the games that came with the Playstation).

I have to admit that even though I've never owned a console in my life (and wasn't that bothered about getting one) I find I really want a Wii (no jokes please).

I say and will continue to say for the rest of my life - Nintendo 64 was and is the greatest video game system ever invented. I don't care how naive I am or how much the world has evolved since my childhood years of blowing on the bottom of plastic cartridges in order to make them play... I'm a total lover of simplicity and not very advanced technology (yes, don't remind my I'm the biggest hypocrite ever, here I am typing away at the computer, a device I could never live a day without) and the N64 was just a work of genius. No memory cards, no advanced things you had to keep in mind, just a nice little cartridge that you stuck into a box and it played on your TV. And for the time, the graphics were just amazing. Most games can still hold up pretty well today... sure they aren't XBOX 360 or Wii quality, but the better games aren't that bad.

Honestly, I come from the house of video game mania. My dad and younger brother are insane. We own almost every type of gameboy, several computers and games, XBOX and 360, Wii, N64, the original Nintendo, Gamecube, and even Dreamcast. Its pretty insane. We own almost everything except playstation, and we own a kazillion games for each, lol. And between all this, I have never played either XBOX and prefer the gamecube to most anything else, because the N64 is somewhere in our storage room, lol. I bought my Zelda TP for gamecube and not Wii even though my brother has the Wii one. Behind the N64, Gamecube is my favorite. Yay nintendo!

So thats just me. Call me crazy, but I'll take an old N64 over a more modern game system anyday. The lack of memory cards to keep track of the the simple awesomeness of the games is just.. I love it.
