As simple as it sounds. Tell us how you got yer username. My name is Brook, I like to read. My friends all called me bookworm in middle school, so I just added a letter to it to personalize. I'm not a literary scholar or anything, in fact I don't read as much as I used to. But I still like it.

I've already posted where I gots me name from in me profile here on Parley. Here it is, my username explained: I made the name Suluna up about a year or two ago. Why? Well, I have fan-fics in my mind about my fav programs and all, and I need names for my characters that I use in them. (Does that make any sense? lol ) So, anyway, the character Suluna, I made up for a fan-fic about Naruto. She's basically me, in the Naruto universe. Please don't ask me for a link to read my fan-fics, I never get round to putting my fan-fics in writing. Although I enjoy writing fan-fics (very much), I can only do so much in a day. Besides, I think the majority of my fan-fics will decay in my mind, never seeing the light of day... Now, that's why my username Suluna exists. How did I come by it? What significant meaning is behind it? Well, it has something to do with the moon. But the rest will be revealed later... ...Or now. My real name is Susan. (The Su in Suluna is explained) |

Well, I love POTC (in case you didn't know), so that's where the PG part came from. The numbers are the years of the first 2 movies: 2003 and 2006. At the time I created this sn, the year for POTC 3 kept changing and it seemed like too many numbers, so I just left it off. Oh, and then for a little while, POTC 2 (this was before it was DMC) was rumored to be scheduled for a late 2005 date, and I thought, "Darn it, my screen name is ruined now!" But luckily, they changed it back to 2006. Well, actually unluckily, because I'm really looking forward to seeing it ASAP! |

You only get the full effect of my screenname if you know how to properly pronounce it... Crisscrossed. I created it, mainly because everyone always had kool sn's and what not, and I wanted something creative. So, figuring how confused I always seem, and how much I love K's and how much I love the name Kriss, I created KrissXed. Over the years, I've added things to the end, such as KrissXed4Wes, KrissXed2000, KrissXed4evr... and so one... But for now, I'm happy with just KrissXed... |

One of the crypts outside the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland has the name M.T. Tomb on it. I
the Haunted Mansion and Disneyland, so I commandeered the name for myself.

My sn is from two books. Initially I was only Hildwyn-- 'one who delights in battle' that was Old English/Roheric mix, for LotR, an RP character I had, and just kept the name. Then one place I was known as Alia (Alia Atreides, St Alia of the Knife, from Frank Herbert's Dune), but because of a mixing thing (bringing an RPG to new hosting, blah, blah, blah), I combined the two so as to not confuse anyone, but then, that happened anyway. Ah, the universe has a sense of humor... |

I seem to be the most confusing at times when I'm specifically trying to not be confusing, too. Oh, the irony. |

Tell me about it. Apparently I made much more sense in what I said when I was on drugs after surgery (not immediately mind you, I was clear to others, but not so much to myself), than when I'm my normal self. My parents said something about 'not omitting the subject of sentences nor speaking at 65 miles an hour.' Who needs a subject of a sentence? After taking latin, everything's pretty much inferred or implied, or its antecedent goes three frakkin' ideas before the current sentence. I will not take any jokes about my inability to communicate and being a linguistics major. Bad enough I get them all the time IRL.

Okay - try to follow along now... My name is Deirdre - and nobody can pronounce Deirdre. So, I tell folks to call me 'Dee', but some morons...I mean, some folks  ...think I say 'Bea'. So, I say, 'NO...'D' - as in Danger.' - I just squish it together, turn 'in' into 'N', and come up with dasNdanger...said like D as in Danger...NOT Das N Danger. Das is a different story - since it's really D as - it should prolly sound like 'Diaz'. However, most people call me das - rhymes with 'ass'... <_< das |
