A-DATA may be a little late to the party, but they have designed and released a variety of flash memory modules with a PotC theme. Available is a regular flash drive bearing Depp's character. Also available are SD Duo cards. These are like regular SD memory cards but have a USB module so they can be directly plugged in to a computer. Normally I would rip on A-DATA for showing up to the PotC bandwagon party very late, but I can't hate against anything featuring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. SD Duo pictures after the fold.

That's amusing! I'd buy one, seeing as how I kind of do need a flash drive. I like that picture of Jack as well, its cool looking.

That is too funny. It's really amazing how much stuff out there has PotC on it. And this is great, because it'll help internet piracy. ;) (J/k.)

Okay, I think that's perhaps taking it just a tad too far in the merchandising realm. What next? PotC toilet paper? "If this stuff had been around in the 18th century then it would have been perfect for toilet papering Barbossa, but since we don't want you to do that kids, why not use it on our on the toilet while simultaneously enjoying our limited edition Jack Sparrow toilet cover? And while you're doing your pirate "business" why not read a PotC magazine, while you're already wearing a PotC shirt, wearing PotC jewelry, carrying your PotC mobile, in your PotC Jack the Monkey slippers. Or if that sort of reading isn't to your taste, why not bring your laptop in (complete with Jack Sparrow flash drive, for storing and transferring all your piraty goodness) with a special PotC wireless card? No charges anytime! Simply plug in the wireless card and you'll be browsing off of your neighbor's internet connection free of charge! What a steal!"

Seriously though...all this tie-in merchandising is getting out of hand. Where is it going to end?

On further reading, it says:

A-DATA world’s second largest vendor of memory modules has launched “Pirates of the Caribbean Flash Drive”, with designs featuring Johnny Depp’s mysterious pirate figure, and a golden exterior just like the pirate’s sword in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacity. Especially designed for die-hard Pirates of the Caribbean movie fans, the "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" preview is included in the flash drive as an exclusive collectible for those using "Pirates" flash dives! In addition to the two movie poster wallpapers, nine unique designed MSN display pictures are also included exclusively in this limited edition flash drive for fans to collect and treasure all in one go.

Interesting. I already have a thumbdrive, but even if I didn't, I sure wouldn't want to spend whatever price for something that's more "style" than anything. If I want something to be decorated, I'll do it myself.

LOL! The first thing I thought of is, "How can you find a file that nobody's seen except for those who know where it is?" :D

It doesn't actually mention the price. I need a flash drive but I'm not forking out twice as much for something with Johnny Depp's face on it and I would be prepared to pay even more for something without Orlando Bloom on it.
