Norrington Photoshop Painting

For the past three days I've been working on and off on one of two photoshop paintings for PotC--the first one I started was Elizabeth Swann (which I think I'll be able to finish tomorrow), and then Commodore Norrington, since it hardly felt right to not do one of my favorite character.

This was done with the aid of a reference photo seen here, and the finished version of the "painting" can be seen here.

There are a couple things on there that I don't feel really came out right, and I could list a whole bunch, but overall, I'm happy with the outcome.

Wow, I am way impressed, Alia. Sure, it's not an exact replica, but it's very good! There is no way I could do anything even remotely close to that. I think you did an especially good job with the clothes. Those look almost exactly like the photograph.

And I will be excited to see your Elizabeth one, once you finish it. :)

Thanks, PG! :)

I'll definitely post up the link for the Liz one when I'm done. Once (if) I finish that I'm almost tempted to try a Davy Jones just to see what it's like to do a non-human (or humanoid non-human), but I'll probably break to do some original digital art, or a character from another fandom.
