I've recently shifted my addiction from Pokemon games to a game called Iji and it was worth it. Here's the link: http://www.remar.se/daniel/iji.php

It's completely free, even if I think the guy should charge for downloading it.

It's a basic story of a girl who wakes up in a kind of post-apolyptic world where an alien race destroyed life as we know it. The girl, Iji, was turned cyborg in a way and she tries to find a way to get the aliens to leave but another alien race comes into the picture. I can't say more, in case I spoil it all.

What makes this game so awesome are the small details and seemingly endless secrets to find. You can also upgrade Iji any way you want as you go along. You can upgrade her to have lots of health and/or make her a killing machine with 8 (or more ;) ) weapons.

Your actions also have consequences in a way I've not seen in a game before. For instance, try not to kill anyone for about two or so levels. See what happens. (If you, dear reader, have seen this kind of consequence gaming before, then maybe I don't play much  )

I've not played version 1.3 yet, but I will soon, wheee! :yay:

I think I asked before when you said of it, but maybe I forgot, but is the picture of the game darkish? I looked at the screenshots, I guess I'll wait to play it on your computer sometime. :D

And I'm not sure if there are any other games which reward you for not killing anyone, I remember on the 24 game that if I accidentally killed too many hostages I got shouted at by the boss over the headset thing and told to come back to the office, which ended the mission, but that isn't the same thing I don't think. :P
