Kinda feel like shaving all my hair off. Head hair. That is. Or cutting it reaaaal short. It's irritating me. Bah. I'll regret it if I do. I've spent ages growing it. But. Grrrrr. Plus when girls get their hair cut from long to short. They get flack from everyone. I guarantee I will be criticised by at least ten people if I decide to cut my hair. |

Winter's coming, you'll need that hair to stay warm. |

But I'm guessing you don't have long hair. And you manage to keep yourself from freezing to death during the winter. |

Men have thicker skin and face bristles... that keeps me warm. As for the back of my neck, I wear one of those Ferengi things. |

I have weird weather likes and dislikes. I prefer it cold to hot, but I love the summer light. I hide away even more in the winter time as I find the long nights depressing. We've had just about the worst weather combination this summer: humid but wet. This means that if you go out without a jacket you quickly look bedraggled, but if you wear a jacket in a short time steam comes off you. Cool but sunny is my favourite weather pattern. |

During winter, I miss the warmth of summer, the blue skies, the colourful flowers, busy streets, going to the beach, ice creams and the long happy days. During summer, I miss the coldness of winter, the Christmas lights, hot soup and bread on a cold winter night, the waking up and seeing a frosty winter landscape, clinging to a radiator. -- In reality, they're both hell. Summers usually mean grey skies, rain every other day, hot sticky nights, annoying kids off school hanging around in groups, insects everywhere, places full of holiday-makers and frustrated motorists. Winter means seeing no daylight most the time, scraping frost off the car each morning, thick coats, becoming depressed, having no money left after Christmas, constant headaches from central-heated stuffy rooms and frustrated motorists. I like autumn and spring.

I like Winter the best. I always feel more depressed in the summer. I like it being dark because then when I get home from uni I can put my Pj's and slippers on. Make a nice cuppa. Stick my tea on and watch tv snuggled under a blanket. It's so cosy. And I love snow and ice. The only bad things are when it's cold and dark in the morning and I literally have to drag myself out of bed. That's horrible. And also I don't like walking home from uni in the dark, too many weirdos around where I live. And sometimes central heating gives me nose bleeds. But I like walking around all tucked up in my coat, scarf and gloves. And looking forward to Christmas. |

Cripes, how can you guys like winter? It's freezing! It doesn't snow here during winter but it's still way, way too cold for comfort. Constant grey skies... dreary days and howling nights. I like having the bed sheets stick to my legs on hot summer nights. Or getting in my car and not being able to touch the steering wheel because it's burning hot. Without summer, life would be miserable. |
