Great movie! A classic Tarantino. I saw this a few nights ago and I loved it. One of the main characters was German and in one scene spoke German with a black slave girl, something I've never seen before. A black person speaking German. It was really cool. A few gory bits that I had to stare at the ceiling for until they were over.

The only complaint I have is that the main character had too much of a modern day black man's attitude. It detracted from his character I thought. I stopped seeing him as Django, black slave turned badass vigilante, to every gangster character he's ever played in his other movies. But it hardly detracted from the movie at all and I really loved it. I haven't been that impressed with a cinema movie for ages.

I watched it the other day too. I reeeeally enjoyed it.

The only scene I really cringed at was the scene where the dogs were attacking the black guy. Ugh, that gave me the shivers.

I liked the ending too. I wasn't expecting it to end nicely so I was pleasantly surprised.

Below, where is your boat?
You are slow, you are slow
From where I stand
I can see the curvature of the Earth
And I want to make it flat
I will play, the sky is black
