"Social anxiety?" What a fucking joke. Oh, I'm so scared what somebody might think about me, boo-fucking-hoo.
You don't know what social anxiety is. You should back out of this thread slowly and carefully, and you should probably stop drinking. Go sleep it off and I'll check on you soon to make sure you're still breathing.

Yeah, I do cause I had it a few times when I was younger. Then I realized I was being a total pussy and shook it off.

Social anxiety isn't something you can just shake off. You obviously didn't have it. There are scores of people out there who put simple shyness down to "social anxiety". A degree of nervousness is normal in everyone.

True social anxiety stems from an underlying anxiety disorder that is emphasised in social situations. It's not having sweaty hands before a speech or a slight blush when you're talking to someone you like.

You don't understand it and you never will. Don't make judgements of something you know absolutely nothing about.

I know more than you think that I do.

Pharmaceutical companies are making billions of dollars convincing people to take dangerous, addictive, and sometimes DEADLY drugs. All anybody needs is true faith (in either religion or an effective non-religious set of principles) and they will need none of these killer pharmaceuticals.

And what of the doctors and other medical professionals that prescribe these drugs?

And what of the doctors and other medical professionals that prescribe these drugs?
The most addictive prescription drugs are in this order:

1) Painkillers
2) Anti-anxiety drugs
3) Anti-depressants/Mood Stabilizers

That's a nice list but it doesn't answer my question.

Clearly, not all drugs are 'bad.' However, doctors and the public at large are often easily manipulated into thinking that they need a certain drug(s). Haven't you ever heard the expression, 'just take this pill?' MOST drugs are the easy way out. They're for weak fucking pussies who in the context of Darwinism should really be eradicated from the gene pool.

Mmhmm, and what of the clinical trials that prove these drugs often have a high success rate? The side-effects are minimal, the result is positive. Even if the positive results are due to the placebo effect - if someone takes a pill to help them function better in life, what's it to you?

Have you never taken painkillers? By your logic taking painkillers is for weaklings that should be made to suffer through the pain as nature intended.

Actually, painkillers I 'get.' Pain is quantifiable. Bullshit made-up disorders like 'social anxiety' are not.
