Good luck for your interview.

:-) :-)

Is that a British-ism or a Scottish-ism.

People here would say:

Good luck ON your interview.

It's a Britishism, Scottishism and Englishism.

We want the luck to start before the interview, therefore we say "good luck for the interview" or "good luck for tomorrow". It would be terrible if Blu had started and then the luck began on the interview. That could be a few minutes too late. We wouldn't say "good luck on tomorrow".

But anyway...

Well done on passing Blu! :D

Aw thanks guys :-) <3

Below, where is your boat?
You are slow, you are slow
From where I stand
I can see the curvature of the Earth
And I want to make it flat
I will play, the sky is black

Blu be very careful with the contract, read it carefully and ask if you don't understand any terms, because once signed that contract becomes legally binding. The law takes it for granted in a dispute that both parties to a contract have read and understood and agreed to the T & C.
You would be laughed out of court if you said "but your honour I never read the contract", or "But your honour I never understood what 'general duties' meant." It is your responsibility to clarify any misleading terms Blu. People have been got out in the past by an employer adding vague T&Cs like the notorious "general duties." THis is so vague that it means just about anything you want it to mean. It could mean that you have to clean the toilets or help rearrange the office furniture, or paint the walls.

A lot of people don't realise that they can put up their own T&Cs. I would put in any contract that I signed that I wasn't bestowing Power of Attorney upon them and that I wasn't transferring usufruct to them.

Thank you, dearheart.

Yikes I hadn't even thought of a contract. My sister draws up contracts for a living so I can get advice from her too I guess.
