I don't like rice and I don't dislike rice either. The average rice is mostly useless, nutritionally wise. People prepare rice to stuff their guests, so they will think they ate alot, while not. I specially dislike it when I go to "eat everything you can for X reals/pouds/dollars" steak houses and the waiters INSIST on me to accept some plate of rice. Oh yeas... They want the people to get stuffed with rice so they won't eat too many beefs... I do not go to those places to eat rice, I go to those places to eat argentine picañas, bilauwurst and jebawurst sausages, roasted meat all poured with tasty jumental cheese and maybe some potato french fries and manioc french fries. The only rice I ever eat is Uncle Ben's whol rice. |

I have no idea what you're talking about. Unless you mean my thread on Doongara. It's amazing how this semi-dwarf long grain variety can be so hard to cook. Must be all the amylose.

I like rice. it can be shitty to make somtimes like too sticky I get it right about 75% of the time and I usually mix curry,frozen veg,or corned beef/gravy with it. |
