Hopefully, this goes better than the WBO version. What's going on? How's your day? Have you been hit by a random wave of inspiration? Are you disappointed in how a story came out? Watching anime? Listening to music? *cough*Natsuko Aso*cough* Pissed off about misspellings? (I normally am.) Say it out loud for the world the hear! Or at least PenPad Forums. Let 'em fly! |

That said, there's always the one person who asks for everyone else's notes. In other words, me. (Not really, but you get my drift.) That would be epic. Oh, and I'm 15. |

Post guys, post! Anyway, I'm not sure if this belongs here but I'm so excited for the Hobbit movie. I read all the books and watched all the movies. (I always like the books more) but that isn't stopping me from watching it. Peter Jackson is one of the directors' I love. (He directed Lovely Bones xD.) IMD says the release date is on December 14, 2012. Hm..last day of the 3rd quarter. Good. |

Damn. Nothing's flying around my head but there's something walking on it. About the new story I posted, should I make the names Japanese and place the setting on Japan, or should I stay with normal American Names? Please, help. |

Depends. Can you think of natural Japanese names, AND explain their kanji? (Normally, that's how one introduces themselves.) It's kind of customary. |

I'd say ditch the Japanese names. They're used way too much by writers online, to be honest. |

I, personally, try to use different kinds of names depending on the story. Irish, French, American, Scandinavian, Japanese, it all depends on what the character needs to be. |

Well, I really feel like venting about this, so here I go... As we all know, I've been offline all year, and a lot can happen in five months. One of those things is to have your girlfriend move to freakin' Seattle (Ugh, West Coast and in the North? That just sounds painful.) because her dad got a job offer up there. That was in March, so I've been rather depressed for the last two months. I know that most of ya'll don't really care, but I could use some advice for how to deal with this... |

Become pen-pals. Talk on Skype/FaceTime. Use Facebook as a method of communication. Try not to lose touch with her. That's the best I can say. At worst, she forgets about you; best case scenario for that worst case scenario, you meet her again, and your relationship is rekindled. All in all, it's not nearly as bad in this technological day and age. |

We did keep in touch for the first few weeks, but it almost seems like it's reached the worst case scenario. God, I just miss her... The one upside to this is that I have good inspiration for new writings, so expect some sort of realistic fiction about middle school in the near future. |

Geez, I'm out of the loop. Erm... Try not to think too much about it. Overthinking these things leads to depression a good 70% of the time. Assuming that it's actually over for good, then don't forget about her. Don't wallow over yourself, but remember that you had some good times together, and keep those memories alive. I'm sure she won't forget you, so don't you disrespect that and forget about her. Hrm... Honestly, I'll have to mull this one over for more advice. |

I noticed that whenever there is a test in school, I don't study for it. 1.) I'm lazy. 2.) I rely on my previous knowledge to get me a perfect. (It's why I listen to discussions. Although, I doze off in Math. Much as I love Math, I just love it for the fact that it is the only subject that proves a challenge. My 98 says otherwise.) 3.) I'm lazy. 4.) Did I mention I'm lazy? But this always get me through. The only thing I study for are finals and periodicals but other than that, I don't wake up long enough to do anything else. |

Whoa BBP, we're exactly alike when it comes to school then! I don't really study except for the Final Exams. But unlike you,I suck at Math, and doze off at English. I always get the answers right when the english teacher spots me sleeping at class. |

The only thing I pay attention in is Science. Because Science is awesome and stuff and my teacher is hilarious. Now, Geometry; that's another story. I mean, I love math, but I can't help having a boring teacher, an easy class, and a morning class! |

Just remember that if you both want to make it work, you can. A lot of people will try and tell you that long-distance relationships won't work, but I've been with my girlfriend (she lives in America, I live in England) for 3 and a half years. I finish university next summer, so I'm probably gonna move to America. These things can work out if you try your best. On the other hand, you are quite young. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, so don't get too hung up about it if things don't work out. It'll hurt, naturally, but you'll heal and have the benefit of experience to help you out in the next relationship you enter. |

Please be related to me. I need a break from my family. Anyway, my life is on something of an upswing! I'm dating a friend of mine, and I finally got my life together. First time since my mom and dad split. It's been about three years. My life has been something of a tailspin since them, but I think I might have righted myself finally. Plus I checked in A-OK from a health standpoint. I may or may not get back into football. (Seems like I might, but I also wanna play baseball. And I've got a summer program at the University of Chicago. Really good school. It's considered a pseudo-Ivy League college.) And I just got my test scores back. Still at the top of my school. |

That sounds amazing Temp! Hope everything stays that way. Having a good life is rare in this generation, gotta make it last. You'll feel happier even when it takes few bad turns during the drive. Trust me. Been there, done that. Not a few months ago, I was cursing at my horrible life. But when we had a trip to Korea and I had some time to myself to think whenever I navigate the family in the train stations after a lot of walking, it calmed me down instead of tiring me so here I am, completey changed and listening to Good Life by One Republic everyday. Anyway, hope it all goes well Temp! It's really nice to see you happy and having a great time. (No offense intended.) |

Yeah, I'm glad my life is finally together. But my family is still a broken mess, so I'm not exactly satisfied. But one step at a time, right? Though... I'm not so sure if I can even get my parents back on speaking terms, let alone friendly terms. That's pretty depressing. |

Hm. I suggest looking for a photobook. Then give them a picture of their wedding or the picture when you were born. You're are great person Temporal. You're just blunt sometimes. Anyway, they'll get back on speaking terms, sooner or later. You're living proof of their love; they can't ignore that fact. And yeah. You're right. One step at a time. Right, left, right, left, keep marching on. But anyway, I am sincerely happy that you are having your life together Temp. When mine got together, I was the happiest man-er-woman alive. The ride goes on mate. Every twist and turn here leads to another stop, whether good or not, you'll still be strapped to your seat, awaiting when the driver next pushes the gas. Life is great bro. I'm starting to feel like a hippie here. No joke. My clothes are becoming all flowery and the colors are saturated. Although, it's probably because they're replica clothes the Beatles wore during their psychedelic days.

Man, you guys are great. Y'know, I rarely tell people this because I don't necessarily think that it's relevant. Besides, they'd all look at me funny anyway. Over the summer of 2011 I wasn't exactly a...stable person. I'm still sort of not. Geez, I'm not even supposed to BE here right now. And believe me, this is kinda hard to admit, but I tried to hang myself twice. First time I got caught and the second time the belt broke. My whole life went down the drain in a year. I was living in the basement, I had nothing to do but think, and some days, especially the ones after fighting with my dad, I wondered if everyone would be better off with me gone. Twice I figured they would be. So twice I tried to end it. Both times I failed, but I still look at the hook I tried to do it from and wonder what life would be like if my mom hadn't been looking for a towel in the basement. I'd be dead right now. Well, I guess it sort of comes from my family too. I mean, I'm pressured to be the best at EVERYTHING except what I want to be the best at. My dad's a broken record. "Win! Win! I ain't gonna accept no goddamn losers in my house!" and my mom seems to love throwing her childhood in my face. "When I was a kid, I had perfect grades...blah blah blah, perfect behavior...blah blah blah, was so much better than you and your brothers...blah...never fought...blah blah." ESPECIALLY at sports. Goddammit, I was grounded for losing my starting job at QB in 8th grade! But football's a BRUTAL game. Especially on defense, where I played until recently. I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes I bought my dad's crap. If I didn't win, he really wouldn't consider me his son. So I played dirty. I punched receivers in the gut. I hit QBs late. I used my helmet as a weapon. All because I couldn't ignore my goddamned old man. That's the main reason I quit. (The possible brain tumor in December gave me an excuse) I could just not care. Maybe things will be different now, now that my dad's been less insufferable. And you know, I'm glad I didn't kill myself. I wouldn't have made PenPad. And I wouldn't have been able to talk to you guys. I'll be as blunt as I ever have here. I am so glad I have a place where I can get this stuff off of my chest and not be judged too badly. From BP to Odin to Sparta to Titan, you guys got me through a crappy time. Y'know what I mean? In my own home, it's like I'm the last sane man in an insane world. But that's fine. I think I can handle it now. As I said before, and as BP reiterated, one step at a time. I'll fix my somewhat mundane life. And I know this is odd, since I've never seen any of you in person, but I know I've got a forum of friends who'll have my back the whole way. |

Y'know, another sentimental post from me. I was looking back at the WBO's writing thread. Boy, did we have some good times. The crazy discussions, the philosophical moments, and even Titan's occasional shot at himself. It was all fun. I miss that. I really miss those discussions. That was our pre-PenPad PenPad. Even my random Shakespeare quoting or Noodoo's odd questions. Heck, I even pointed out a character I liked on Frances' (BP) sig! Those were some great days. And then there's the "Most stupid inspiration" discussion. I recall someone saying on a toilet. They WON that discussion, man. And everything was so goddamn free! I feel bad for poor MasterHavik, since he missed those discussions and thoughts. But I miss those days. Those could honestly be some of my favorite moments since what happened with my parents. So thanks guys. No matter what happens to PenPad, you guys were, and still are, great. (I remember Titan once saying he never met his best friends. I know what you mean now, bro. I know what you mean.) Geez, why did I wanna say "I know that feel, bro"? |
