So, what computer(s) do you guys have? What computer(s) do you want?

I have an Acer from 2007, which hardly works, even while plugged in. I really want a triple-screen-display like my friend Johnny has, but I'd settle for one he makes with a G950(?) graphics card or two. 120 FPS, here I come!

MacBook Pro 13 inch, and a Dell Vostro desktop. I want to buy a new graphics card for it, though.

Hrm... I'll be getting a new laptop soon. I've been looking into OS's, and I'll likely stick with Windows. Something about Macs make me want to hit people. Especially the Starbucks Mac people. "Hey, look! I'm writin' a novel, and doing it on a Mac! Let me do it where everyone in the world can see!" (This is likely because of my bias against iPads. The point of an iPad is to show that you can afford an iPad.) I'm looking for a laptop with a screen that's at at least 15. I saw one that's 17.5, and it's pretty cheap. (Given my budget. I had to forgo a trip to New York, so I'm splurging.) Why? Because my NY trip suddenly became an "Anywhere in America" trip. And my grandma suggested Port Gibson, Mississippi. Which. Has. Nothing. And then my mother went with it, so I canned the idea. If I wanted to be around family, I would not go on a vacation, people. Especially if this "family" is made up of people I've met once.

Hey, I use a Mac. I'm not a *total* ass. But I can definitely see why you'd not want to pay $1700-minimum for a laptop with specs that you can get for much less. Just go for something that isn't crap, please. That's all I ask, that you don't buy a Dell Mini. Nevermind, saw your screen range. Not all Mac people are Starbucks Mac people. Those guys are the annoying ones, IMO. 93% around here are, "Oh, I wear a turtleneck, like Steve! I'm superior to you!" Most are pretty nice guys. (See Odin, Sparta, Noodoo for more. :P)
Now, I'd also suggest that you check out dual-booting a Linux distro, if you want. It's a pretty cool way to see what else computers can do. They're pretty configurable to you, too. The only problem is that they can't run most Windows programs.

Anyway, I like my Mac. 13-inch Pro, Lion, with default specs. Nothing really special about it. But it's mine. Desktop: HP Pavilion Elite, 1TB memory, Windows, not sure about anything else.

I don't get stuck on anything; I just take a break and move to a new project.

I have no issues with Macs themselves. I can't work 'em for anything. I'm decent with computers, but honestly, a Mac's build is something you have to get used to, since I've used Windows since I could even use a computer.
