Lukas placed himself on a bench hidden behind the folds of trees. He wouldn’t want anybody happening upon the spot and see him do his business. He needed to fill like five custom orders before school started and had no time to waste. One of them was an extremely intricate butterfly field full of different vibrant flowers. He can’t quite remember when he started to embroidering things. It was perhaps when his little sisters wanted new design shirts that they couldn’t afford.

“This won’t do,” he sighed, his voice coming off like a girlish freshman. He bit down on his lower lip to stop himself from speaking any further. He needed to keep quiet unless he wanted to be tormented during school. It had been going so well, he suspected that even Lily didn’t know about his voice but that girl was insightful.

He looked at the blank piece, just like a blank canvas it seemed. The basic outline of the field was complete but he needed to mess around with the shading. It would be easier to indicate the shading while he did the actual embroidering. Reaching into his chest, he took out the light pen and popped it off with his teeth.

It was a shame, as careful as he was with his hobbies, he wasn’t perfect. On the way to his spot, he had rushed and dropped a number of items ranging from threads to a few of his sample works. He had failed to notice it but there was definitely a distinct trail of embroidery items that lead into his hiding spot. Yet the school year had yet to start and he didn’t expect many people to wander the place. His carelessness would be his downfall but he needed to get the work done at some point.

Which Witch is Which?
Another day at the Grind. Elizabeth honestly couldn't wait for her shift to end.

Eventually, the Café let her out. Later than usual. Again. She tripped her way out the door, and nearly got hit by a bus. Today was not exactly a good day for her.
She eventually made it to the park, where nothing unnatural ever happened to anyone. Ever. At least, that's what she thought.

She made it to her favorite bench, only to see a man working on... Something. She couldn't see what it was from behind his back.
So she decided to do the next best thing.
Cupping her hands around her mouth, she inhaled deeply, yet quietly.
"HEY!" She bellowed, giggling afterwards.
