Riley had managed to slip out of the gym at one point of the dance, sighing a bit as she tried to calm herself. She had been WAY too close to that boy. WAY too close. She needed to vent. She wanted to scream. But she couldn't, it would bring campus security. What to do...Oh, idea! With a few quick steps, Riley had found a tree. It looked pretty sturdy, not very old though. What was she going to do? ... -SNAP- She had pulled on a particular branch and had pretty much snapped it right off out of sheer frustration. She sighed, glancing down at the branch in her hands before tossing it aside and leaning against the tree, staring up at the sky. The stars looked nice, at least. |

Liv had wandered out side after seeming being rejected all the males in the ball, she let out a sign in defeat as she looked around outside. the night was cool and there was a nice breeze blowing. she leaned back against the wall listing to the sounds of the night ans watching the colors flash in front of her eyes when she saw a bright flash of yellow as she heard a stick snap and her head snapped to her left and she saw a girl lieing back against a tree "seems im not the only one having a bad evening" she thought to her self Liv walked over to the girl before introducing herself. "nice evening isn't it, it feels good to get out of the noise occasionally and just sit back and relax. my name is Liv, what brings you out here this fine evening?" |

"Ah... I had such high hopes, too." Brendan was muttering to himself, sulking a bit as if in defeat. He didn't accomplish TOO much with the whole friend thing, and didn't even get to dance with a girl, or well... much of anything, really! Just shoved over a punk, for the most part. He would've stayed longer, but they just had to change the music from classy to, well... noise. He didn't even know why he was feeling so depressed about the whole thing, he just was! As he was walking, kicking rocks and sticks along the way back in search of the dorms, he realized he had forgotten exactly WHERE they were. Combined with the fact it was dark, it'd probably take forever to find his way back... "Daaammiiiiiiit!!!" he let a shout out fairly loud, echoing a bit. As he did so, he heard a snapping sound nearby. Oh geez, someone had heard him. Was his reputation in school ruined already? People were bitches about these things, after all! He sighed with relief when the girl appeared to be doing her own thing, as well as another girl that came over soon after. After giving that thought, he wondered if perhaps he could still make some friends around the campus... yeah, that's right, it isn't too late yet! Not for him! And so he shuffled over, awkwardly, towards the two females whom seemed to have just come from the party inside. He got really nervous, until the point where he stood a few feet away from them. "Uhh... hey. What're you guys up to. Guys? I meant girls. Or, uhh, ladies... Umm... yeah..." Shoot him now. He was blushing from embarrassment right off the bat. This was the most humiliating introduction he had ever made for himself. |

Once Riley heard voices, she turned to see who had joined her outside. First was a girl about her age, maybe older, with green hair and a green dress. She seemed nice enough. Second was a guy. Of course it was a guy. Wait...this was one of the guys Jhon had knocked out of the way to try and help her. "I just wanted out of the gym. It was too loud, and there was too many people. Nice to meet you, Liv. I'm Riley." She turned to look at Brendan and frowned a small bit. "I apologize for my friend's actions back in the gym. He shouldn't have knocked you out of the way like he did. He was just trying to help me." |

Liv stared off into space a bit as Riley spoke her voice has a brilliant mixture of soft and gentle colors that danced across her vision, liv had a tendency to remember people more by the color of their voice rather than by their face or looks. "Nice to meet you Riley, trust me I understand while I'm an avid fan of the arts and especially music I've never been a fan of the ballroom setting I'm more at home with the club scene and parties. These events just kinda put me to sleep. Sorry if this is to personal but are you in highschool or are you attending the university like myself? Liv turned as she heard the newcomer approach, this one was male but it was hard to make out any specific features in the dark. As he spoke Liv picked out the much more vibrant colors of his deeper voice even tho he seemed like he was tripping over his own words. Liv attempted to put the man at ease she seen this type before has little confidence when talking to women for one reason or another, at least that was the vib he was giving off. "Relax man, I don't bite. So what brings you out of the party and into this quiet getaway." |

OOC: Sorry for the late post! She was apologizing, it seemed. But really, why? Brendan had long forgotten about that kind of thing. It took a lot more than that to set him off, after all. Well... maybe not, but what happened was only at the halfway point, if he could guess! "Ah, there's really no need to be sorry for that. I almost forgot about that, myself." The other girl present seemed to be trying to reassure him. Was it that obvious...? Ah well, he wouldn't be any fun being so awkward like that. He smiled and nodded. "Aha, if you say so." He took a seat next to the two girls, and let out a sigh. |

Riley smiled slightly as the boy- She couldn't remember his name- seemed to relax. And Liv seemed to be the cause of that, too. So Liv was a university student, huh? She kind of looked like it. "I'm in high school, not so sure about him. I'm just glad to be out of the noise and away from certain people. All those guys were crowding around..." She shuddered slightly, running a hand through her hair afterwards. She never really felt comfortable in conditions like this, especially with so many guys around. She moved away from the boy slightly, glancing up at the sky. "The fireworks will be going off later, and then they'll reveal the winner of the raffle. Wonder what the prize is..." |

OOC: Liv is pronounced Leef liv looked at Riley before giving a slight nod. don't worry about it so much i was nervous around boys for a while my self but you'll grow out of it, as long as you don't end up some with some asshole you'll be fine, and for you." Liv turned to face Brendan you gotta relax man if your this tense you will always come off as awkward or unapproachable, jsut loosen up and be yourself" Liv was more used to dealing with more outgoing people and usually never was exposed to people who were shy so she was unsure of how to make the other two feel at ease around her other than by calling out on what she saw that was causing it. "sorry i haven't introduced my self yet, my name is Liv Tilda, what are your guys names. i dont think ive seen you around before." |

Riley sighed a bit, running a hand through her hair. "Riley, Riley MacGregor. I'm a high school student, sophomore. And...It's not that I'm nervous around boys. I...I'm an androphobe. Boys TERRIFY me. Well...It's only if they touch me. I'm somewhat okay with talking to them, but if they touch me...I freak out." She sighed, leaning her head back to look at the sky. "So, you're a university student? What's your major?" She smiled slightly at Liv. Liv definitely seemed like a nice person, and could end up being a good friend. |

Liv gave her a quizzical look "ill be honest ive never heard of that before, but then again i see color when ever i hear music or sounds so i guess anything can happen. but to answer your question im attending the university and just trying to knock my core classes out of the way because i haven't decided what i want to do yet." Liv stared off into space for a sec as a car drove by. "what about your self are you going to the high school or Uni?" |

Riley brushed some of her hair out of her face before adjusting her glasses. "Androphobia is, very basically, a fear of men, usually rooted to something psychological. You see colors when you hear things? I've heard of that before, but I can't remember the name of it." She observed Liv as the green-haired girl watched a car pass by. So she picked up more on sounds than visual cues...Interesting. "I'm in high school, a sophomore. But, once I enter the university, I'll probably go for a literature degree. Books are kind of my thing. So, is there anything interesting you like to do?" |

liv gave Riley a surprised look. "im surprised you have even heard of it, the condition is called chromesthesia its a actually pretty cool ive had it all my life so i cant imagine whats it like to not see the way i do you cant imagine what listing to music is like. in regards to the literature major, what do you plan on doing after you finish the university then become a teach or a secretary." live paused in thought for a moment as she considered the question of what she does for fun before finally speaking up. "well i got a few i DJ over at the tropicana as a part time job but my hobbies include most artistic forms of expression ranging from painting, dancing, even dabbling into some of the finer culinary dishes but im not very good at that, but i think the only real hobby that ive stuck with is playing tabletop war games. How about yourself what do you do for fun.?" |

"Well, before I got interested in literature, I thought of going into the medical field and looked up a bunch of things. Chromesthesia came up at one point. Well, I might become a teacher, but I really want to be a writer. I thought of going dual-major, maybe get my second in journalism." So Liv was a DJ? Made sense. And she liked tabletop war games. Liv seemed pretty interesting. "I don't know a lot about tabletop war games, unfortunately. I prefer books." |

"i hear writing is a great form of expression but its a bit to quiet for me, thats why ive been drawn to music so much as a form of expression, tho i guess composing music is quite a bit more challenging than writing, it seems you have your goals set out for you. have you always lived in this area or did you move here from somewhere?" |

Riley chuckled a bit, smiling slightly. "I used to live in Los Angeles, but I moved here last year. I miss it a bit, but I like it here. So many interesting people...What about you?" She was glad Liv wasn't asking about the androphobia, it made it a bit easier to talk to her. |
